August 2016 Ipsy Bag

I received my August Ipsy bag after I moved, so it took awhile for my parents to send it to me.

I love the design of this bag, and I think it is the best one I have received. These are the 5 items that came in my bag:

Beauty For Real I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in Black Magic: The eyeliner applies smoothly, blends easily, and does not require sharpening. The eyeliner is also waterproof and cruelty-free. I rarely wear eyeliner, and I received an eyeliner in my July Ipsy Bag, so I was disappointed with receiving another one. However, I like that the eyeliner is creamy and twists up.

NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator in Gleam: The illuminator is used as a foundation base or a highlighter to make the skin glow. The illuminator is also lightweight and blends easily. Gleam is a golden peach shade, and there are 3 other shades available as well. I am unsure about how well this color will look with my skin tone, and I am not a fan of the shimmer. However, the illuminator applies smoothly, and a little goes a long way. Also, NYX is cruelty-free.

Lord & Berry 20100 Maximatte Crayon Lipstick in Intimacy: The lipstick provides intense color and is long-lasting. The lipstick also moisturizes and softens lips. Intimacy is a limited edition pink shade with a matte finish. I love the color, but I do not like that it is a pencil because I have to buy the sharpener from Lord & Berry when it becomes dull. However, Lord & Berry is cruelty-free.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics Mongongo Lip Conditioner in Vanilla Coconut Cream: The lip conditioner makes lips feel smooth and soft. The conditioner is also translucent, organic, non-GMO, and cruelty-free. Even though I would like to try this lip conditioner, I do not like anything that tastes or smells like coconut, and this smells like coconut, so I will not use it.

$10 at Jersey Shore Cosmetics

Symphony Beauty Makeup Cleansing Wipes: The wipes remove makeup and oil while moisturizing the skin. The wipes are easy to use, and one sheet removed all of my makeup including eyeshadow, mascara, and foundation. The cucumber scent is also nice, and Symphony Beauty is cruelty-free.

$10 for 60 sheets at CosBellus

Overall, this was a decent bag, but I had to cancel my subscription because I moved out of the country.
