It is a new month, which means it is time for my monthly favorites and roundup!
I hope everyone had a good New Year! I was planning on publishing this post sooner, but on the 1st I went to Houston to visit my family then last week I was catching up on my master’s program, but better late than never right?
FabFitFun was having 50% off their Fall box, and I decided to subscribe and try it out.
Since I am currently at my parent’s house in the US, I decided to take advantage of being able to shop at Target, and I purchased the September Beauty Box.
You have probably noticed that I have not been active on my blog lately, and I apologize. I flew to my parent’s house on August 29th, so I have been preparing for that. I also went on vacation from August 4th-10th. The week after my vacation was my last week of summer break before my second year of my master’s program started, and I used that time to relax and play video games. My master’s program started on August 19th, and I have been getting back into the groove of things. Since things have settled a bit I thought now would be a good time to write a new post and share a haul of bags and beauty products I bought before my trip to my parent’s. Also, since I have been MIA for a while, feel free to share your latest post in the comments.
How is it already June? I was so busy during May that the time just flew by, but like always I want to share my favorites for the past month as well as a roundup. Since May marked my 3rd year blogging, I wanted to do an extra long favorites post. Also be sure to enter my 3 Year Blogiversary Giveaway which ends on the 10th!
Every month since August 2016 I received a GoodieBox, which is a Danish beauty subscription box. Last year they launched GoodieBox Crush which is a quarterly subscription box with only makeup products, and I subscribed to that box as well. However, this month I decided to cancel both subscriptions.
When you have a budget, you cannot always splurge on a new face mask, but have you ever considered making your own mask? With DIY face masks you can combine 2-3 simple and affordable ingredients and not have to sacrifice taking care of your skin. In this post, I will share 5 DIY face masks suitable for your skin type. I also collaborated with Katie over at Beauty and a Budget, so be sure to check out her post for the 5 DIY Face Masks she recommends!
Even though Normal is a Scandinavian store, I thought it would be fun to share the unboxing of a mystery bag I bought last week.
