I hope everyone is having a good start to 2025! With the beginning of a new year, I wanted to take the time to reflect on my best blog posts that had the most views in 2024.
My Most Popular Posts in 2024
#10 Is The Sims 4 Base Game Worth Playing?
I published this post at the beginning of 2023. In October 2022, The Sims 4 base game became free on all platforms. I wrote this post shortly after to share if I think the base game is worth playing. In short, I do recommend playing the base game because it is free, there are various ways to play, and there are regular updates that add new content.
#9 How Much Do Bloggers Charge for Sponsored Posts, Social Media, and Advertising Packages?
I published this post in 2022, and I am surprised that it is still popular. As a blogger, I struggled with pricing as pretty much everything I read said it depends. I then created an anonymous Google Form and had bloggers respond with what they charge for sponsored posts they write, pre-written sponsored posts, link insertions, Instagram grid posts, Instagram Stories, and Twitter and Facebook posts. Also, I included a section for advertising packages. I then broke down each section based on their blog’s DA (domain authority) and views. For the social media posts, I broke down the sections by social media followers. With this post, I hope I was able to help other bloggers figure out a starting price.
#8 Ranking Every Sims 4 Stuff Pack from Worst to Best
In June 2024, I shared my ranking of all The Sims 4 Stuff Packs. Since 2015, The Sims 4 has released 20 Stuff Packs, which are smaller packs for $10 that add new Create-a-Sim (CAS), build objects, and gameplay. However, there are some Stuff Packs that are definitely not worth the money even if they are on sale!
#7 Rating YouTuber Brands
In 2023, I published this post on rating various YouTuber brands. I have since updated the post with more brands I have tried. Some of the brands I review include Feastables by Mr. Beast, Joyride by Ryan Trahan, Prime by Logan Paul and KSI, Top of the Mornin’ Coffee by Jacksepticeye, Chamberlain Coffee by Emma Chamberlain, Cloak by Markiplier, Nimya by NikkieTutorials, and Royalty Soaps.
#6 Little Friends: Puppy Island Review
In 2023, the Little Friends: Puppy Island game released, and I received a Nintendo Switch copy to play and review. In the post, I share what you can do in the game and also my overall review. It is a great game for kids and adults!
#5 Temu Review: The Pros and Cons of Shopping on Temu
In 2023, Temu became available in Denmark. I decided to purchase some kitchen and office supplies and test out the quality of the items. I also go in-depth into the background of Temu and how their products are so cheap and also the problem of dupe and knockoff products found on Temu.
#4 Ariana Grande Perfume Ranking and Review
In 2018, I reviewed four Ariana Grande perfumes. I have since updated the post to include reviews of 11 of her perfumes. I did not expect such an old post to gain traction in 2024. However, Ariana Grande is Glinda in the Wicked movie, which I imagine has increased the interest in her perfumes.
#3 Frøya Organics Natural Skincare Review
In September 2024, I reviewed The Complete System for Mature Women’s Skin from Frøya Organics, which I was gifted. In the post, I write about the four products included and how to use them. I also share my overall thoughts on the products.
#2 The 25 Best Cozy Games to Play on PC and Console
In 2023, I published my post on 25 cozy games I recommend playing from Animal Crossing: New Horizons to The Sims 4. I am delighted to see that the post is still popular.
#1 The Top 10 Cozy Mobile Games to Play for Free
As a followup to the previous cozy gaming post, I also published in 2023 my post on free cozy mobile games I recommend. I have had to update the post since two of the original mobile games I included are no longer available (Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp and Switchcraft). I am happy and also surprised that this post has been my most viewed post in 2024.
My Thoughts on My Most Popular Posts

Out of my 10 best blog posts in 2024, 2 were published in 2024, 6 in 2023, 1 in 2022, and lastly 1 in 2018. I am surprised that some of my older posts have been popular. However, it does show me that it is good to update older posts especially when information is outdated like my cozy mobile games post or I can add more insight such as with more Ariana Grande perfumes I have tried.
As far as the topics of the posts, 5 are gaming-related, 2 are beauty posts, 1 is regarding blogging, and 2 cover shopping. Of the gaming posts, all could be considered cozy gaming with 2 specifically covering The Sims 4. I will definitely continue writing gaming posts, and I have several posts I would like to publish this year.
For my views, I experienced a big jump in views in 2023. My views have still been increasing in 2024. For 2024, my views are double the amount of 2023! Search engines account for a large percentage of my traffic, which is the same as in 2023. My next main source of views is Pinterest, and my views from Pinterest have increased by 6 times since 2023! I have only been creating 1 pin for each new post I publish. Also, I have been making new pins for older posts such as for my Christmas gift guides when Christmas is rolling around. I will continue with this method as it does seem to be effective.
Other main social media sites for traffic have been Twitter/X and Facebook, but my views have decreased from these sources since 2023. A lot of people have been leaving Twitter or becoming less active due to all the changes, and I have not been as active either. I recently joined Bluesky (you can follow me @karaleecupcake.bsky.social), so I am curious to see if Bluesky will have any impact on views in 2025. I am excited to see what is in store for 2025!
A great idea to reflect back, and really fascinating to see what was popular. It also made me click through, I was interested to read about the YouTuber brands as I’m very cynical about them.
Happy new year to you! Looking forward to seeing what you share in 2025!
Sally :o)
Thank you! It was great to see what posts people have been visiting. There are actually some good YouTuber-owned brands, but others are not worth spending money on and seem more like a cashgrab.
I haven’t looked at my most popular posts from 2024 yet, but it will be interesting to see what resonated overall. I too have found that my time and traffic on Twitter/X has reduced as less and less people stay on it, it will be interesting to see if that trend continues. I wish you well with your blogging throughout 2025!
It would be a good idea to take a look so you know what posts people have been visiting.
I don’t see Twitter/X changing anytime soon so I imagine the trend will continue.
Thank you so much!
This is so interesting, and a great way to find out what to write about in the future! I love your posts 🙂 x
Thank you! It is fun seeing what posts people are actually visiting
I liked the Froya Organics review. I guess I miss out on the Ariana Grande’s perfume post. I will check it out. Oh I see… the Temu app is available in UK too. I thought it is only in Asia. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you and I did publish the Ariana Grande back in 2018 so it is easy to miss.
The Temu app is available in so many countries now!
I’ve loved reading your content this year Karalee, looking forward to reading more of your posts in 2025! x
