Updated on April 24th, 2025
I have previously ranked every Sims 4 Expansion Pack, and I thought it was about time to rank the Stuff Packs. The Stuff Packs are smaller packs that add new Create-a-Sim (CAS), build objects, and gameplay. However, not all of the Stuff Packs are worth the money.
Since 2015, The Sims 4 has released 20 Stuff Packs. The Stuff Packs are normally $10 each, but there are regular sales throughout the year. The older Stuff Packs are 30% off for $7 while the 2 newest Stuff Packs are 20% off for $8. In this post, I will share my opinions of which Stuff Packs are worth the money by ranking them from worst to best. I will include my thoughts on the CAS, build items, and the new gameplay.
Ranking Evert Sims 4 Stuff Pack
#20 Luxury Party Stuff
I received Luxury Party for free from the Daring Lifestyle Bundle from the Epic Games Store. Luxury Party is the first Stuff Pack for The Sims 4 that came out in 2015. Luxury Party is also by far the worst Stuff Pack. The pack is intended for you to throw a lavish party with your sims, but there are barely any items. There are 41 new clothing, accessories, hair, and makeup for adult sims. The clothing is extravagant and fits the theme. The hair and accessories are a fine addition. However, the makeup is not it. The downfall of this Stuff Pack is the build mode. There are only 12 items!
The new gameplay at the time was the banquet table and drink fountain. You can stock the banquet table with 5 different food dishes and the fountain with Fruit Punch, Sparkling Apple Juice, Chocolate, or Cheese. The gameplay in Luxury Party is no longer unique. There are banquet tables and drink fountains in the My Wedding Stories Game Pack and High School Year Expansion Pack. If you have those packs, you do not need Luxury Party. Furthermore, the rest of the items in the Stuff Pack are terrible. There is a glowing bar that seems out of place and a glowing cube that does nothing. There are fancy chairs that seem more for a wedding and a sequined table that does not match. You should definitely save your money and get a different pack!

#19 My First Pet Stuff
My First Pet is the 14th Stuff Pack that came out in 2018. I received the pack for free in 2023 when EA gave it out to players. My First Pet is also the most controversial Stuff Pack because to be able to use all items in the pack, you will have had to purchase the Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack. My First Pet includes 27 CAS items including 11 clothing items and hair for adults and kids, but 16 CAS items for cats and dogs.
Additionally, there are 35 build mode items including furniture that matches the kids’ room items in Cats & Dogs as well as 4 small pets. However, 9 items are pet beds, cat trees, and other items for cats and dogs. If you bought My First Pet without having Cats & Dogs, you are unable to use 25 items out of the 62 total items, which equates to 40% of the Stuff Pack being unusable.
The new gameplay in My First Pet is the small pets – the hamster, rat, pygmy hedgehog, and miniature bubalus. All four small pets have the same interactions, and the only difference is their appearance. You feed, play, and talk with them. Also, child sims can study the rodent, which completes their daily homework task. Furthermore, there is a chance of your sims getting Rabid Rodent Fever if they get bit by the small pet when the cage is dirty. Your sim will then have to purchase medicine on the computer or they will die.
However, I have been playing with small pets for more than a week in-game, but the cage never got dirty. Also, I had the bug where the small pet’s hunger bar disappeared and I got the notification it passed away from starvation. My sims also got the baby whisked away sad moodlet. However, the small pet was still alive and I just had to feed it a treat for the hunger bar to reappear. Considering that you have to own a $40 Expansion Pack to use all the items in the Stuff Pack and the bugs in My First Pet have not been fixed in years, I highly recommend not purchasing this pack.

#18 Cool Kitchen Stuff
Cool Kitchen is the 3rd Stuff Pack that came out in 2015, and it is also the last Stuff Pack I bought. Cool Kitchen has 39 CAS items including clothing and hair for adult sims. The CAS is fine, but I would not consider it trendy, but there are 2 cute aprons. Build mode has 23 items including a new fridge, stove, sink, counters, and cabinets. I am not really a fan of the counter swatches, and I do not like that all the cabinets have glass doors. However, there is some cute kitchen clutter.
The new gameplay in Cool Kitchen is an ice cream maker. There are 30 different flavors, 8 toppings, and 10 garnishes you can choose from. You start off with only being able to make a few flavors, and as your sim’s cooking skill increases, you unlock more flavors. It can be fun making ice cream, but the pack is not worth it when it is the only new gameplay. In combination with the just fine CAS and build items, Cool Kitchen is one of the worst Stuff Packs and not worth the money.

#17 Fitness Stuff
Fitness is the 11th Stuff Pack that came out in 2017 for your sims to get fit and look great. There are only 12 CAS items, which include gym clothes for adult sims. There are 29 build items to make a modern gym. You can find tables, chairs, and a bathroom set with a sink, toilet, shower, and corner tub. There is also a new treadmill and bars.
The new gameplay in Fitness is the rock climbing wall. There are 3 climbing modes including gentle incline, vertical incline, and overhang as well as 5 challenges for your sims to complete. Your sims gain the fitness skill, which is a 10-level skill. Additionally, If you have the Snowy Escape Expansion Pack, your sim will also build the rock climbing skill. Another new gameplay object is earbuds your sims can listen to. You can either buy the earbuds for §100 from a computer, but you will often randomly win them for free. The earbuds are like a stereo, and your sim can listen to music while doing other tasks such as cooking, socializing, or playing on a computer. There are also 2 workout videos your sims can watch and follow along with on the TV.
Considering the limited CAS, the modern build items that I am not really a fan of, and the main new gameplay feature being a rock climbing wall, I do not think the pack is worth the money.

#16 Perfect Patio Stuff
Perfect Patio is the 2nd Stuff Pack that came out in 2015 to make the perfect outdoor space. The pack includes 12 CAS items including clothing and hair for adults and 1 hair for kids. The CAS is just okay. There are a few new swimsuits for adult sims and a grilling outfit with an apron. There are also 33 build items for the patio. The furniture is modern and includes tables, chairs, sofas, a grill, a bar, and counters. There is cute grill decor with grilling utensils and sauces.
The new gameplay at the time was the hot tub. Perfect Patio includes 2 nice modern hot tubs. However, hot tubs are no longer unique to the pack. For the 20th anniversary of the Sims franchise, The Sims 4 added the Birthday Hot Tub in the base game. The Birthday Hot Tub has a different style with a roof over the hot tub, but it has the same functionality as the hot tubs in Perfect Patio. Also, the For Rent Expansion Pack has a hot tub with a rocky exterior. It is not necessary to buy Perfect Patio if you only want the gameplay of a hot tub because there is a hot tub in the base game. However, if you want additional versions of the hot tub with modern patio furniture, I would wait to pick up the Stuff Pack on sale.

#15 Toddler Stuff
Toddler Stuff is the 12th Stuff Pack that came out in 2017, which includes items to make a toddler playground. There are 29 CAS items including clothing and hair for toddlers. The clothes are cute, and it is great to have more CAS because toddlers are often overlooked in other packs. There are 24 build items including a new doll house and toy chest as well as outdoor items including a grill, picnic table, fence, and string lights.
The new gameplay is a ball pit, slide, tunnels, and a jungle gym that combines all 3. Toddlers build the movement skill when playing with these items. When the Toddler Stuff Pack first came out, there was controversy over the texture of the ball pit because the balls were completely flat and had low texture. However, the texture has been updated and looks a lot better. There is also a new toddler play day event with tasks to socialize with guests, talk to and play with a toddler, eat food, and dance. However, your sim will have had to meet a toddler to plan a playdate with their toddler, which can be challenging since the toddler’s lifespan is so short.
Now for if the pack is worth the money. I was building a daycare in The Sims 4, and I wanted a toddler playground, and the items were perfect. However, the ball pit, tunnels, and jungle gym are so large that they are not practical for most residential lots. Also, there are only 3 swatches, which is limiting. Additionally, the slide is no longer unique as there was a pre-order bonus for the Growing Together Expansion Pack that included a toddler slide. The other items in the pack are fine, but the main focus is on outdoor items. I wish there were more items for toddler’s rooms. With all that said, I think the Stuff Pack is best to get on sale.

#14 Moschino Stuff
Moschino is the 15th Stuff Pack that came out in 2019 in collaboration with the luxury clothing brand Moschino. The CAS includes 24 clothing and hair for adult sims. I find the clothing quite ugly except for the T-shirt with the freezer bunny. There are also 38 build items, which focus on modern furniture to create a photography studio. There is a new camera, tripod, lights, backdrops, clothing rack, couch, chair, and coffee table. Furthermore, there are new windows, a door, and wallpaper.
If you come across bland clothing in your life, consider decorating it with unique, Custom Patches of your own design.
Custom patches make clothing more personal to your aesthetic. For example, you can apply a patch with a trendy geometric pattern to a plain shirt to instantly make it modern and stylish. You can also add patches in the shape of famous Moschino patterns, such as the brand’s iconic heart or bow elements, to break up the monotony and add a touch of fun.
Custom patches not only breathe new life into the Moschino Stuff Pack, but also allow players to express their creativity and love of the game in ways that were previously impossible.
The new gameplay in Moshino is the freelance fashion photographer career. The career is similar to other freelance careers where you find a gig, and depending on the level of your sims skill, the number of gigs they can do is limited. Once you find a gig, you photograph a model by asking a sim in the area to pose or hire a fashion model for §100. You then submit a photo for approval. If the photo is approved, you have to wait 1-2 days to receive the photo back in the mail and then you submit it to Fashion Simstagram on the computer to complete the gig and get paid. If the photo is rejected, you have to send a new photo for approval. The career is fine, but it can be annoying having to wait days to get the approved photo back to complete the gig.
The best part of the Moschino Stuff Pack is the tripod. Your sim can bring the tripod anywhere and attach a camera to it. The tripod is fantastic for taking better photos of sims. For example, if you often play legacy challenges, it is easier to take photos of sims together. Plus there are different poses the sims can do! Since I do not really like the CAS items and the best part of the pack is a tripod, I would recommend waiting for a sale.

#13 Romantic Garden Stuff
Romantic Garden is the 6th Stuff Pack that came out in 2016 to build lush gardens, and I received the pack for free at the end of 2023. The pack has 19 CAS items including clothing and hair for kids and adults. The best CAS is the cute garden dresses. There are also 34 build items that you can use to make a Victorian-inspired garden. Some of the plants are a bit weird looking, but I do like the furniture with the picnic table, benches, statues, and monkey bars.
The new gameplay in Romantic Garden is the wishing well. Sims can offer §100, §1,000, or §5,000 and make a wish. Child sims can wish for grades while adult sims can wish for a child or romance. All sims can wish for youthful vigor, simoleons, happiness, or skills. However, depending on the offer and the mood of the well, the result of the wish will vary. For example. if you wish for simoleons, you could gain §10,000 or lose §10,000.
When I made an offer of §5,000 and wished for simeleons, my sim gained §5,600. However, when my child sim wished for grades, they started as a C student and they stayed as a C student Another fun gameplay feature is a large fountain where sims can sit at, play in, or toss a coin. There are other fountains in The Sims 4 that sims can toss a coin in, but none that they can play in. The gameplay is fun, and I would recommend getting the pack on sale.

#12 Bowling Night Stuff
Bowling Night is the 10th stuff pack that came out in 2017 and is all about bowling. I bought the Stuff Pack when my daughter started playing The Sims 4 as she likes bowling. The pack has 20 CAS items with clothing and hair for adults. There are mostly bowling shirts, shoes, and gloves, which makes sense. There are also 35 build items to make a bowling alley including tables, chairs, benches, and a bar. Furthermore, there is bowling-themed decor with bowling ball and shoe racks, bowling pin prints, and a rug.
The new gameplay in the pack is bowling. There is the new bowling lane object which child and adult sims can bowl at. Sims can bowl alone or in a group, and there are different animations such as them dropping the bowl, falling, or missing the pins. There is also a screen on the bowling lane that will play short clips when, for example, the sims missed the pins or there is 1 pin left, just like in real life. Furthermore, there is moonlight bowling where the lights are turned off and the bowling lanes are lit up. Along with the bowling lane, the bowling skill is added with 5 different levels. If you like bowling or want your sims to have a new hobby, the Bowling Night pack would be great, and I would recommend getting it on sale.

#11 Spooky Stuff
Spooky is the 4th Stuff Pack that came out in 2015, and it is also the first Stuff Pack I purchased. I love Halloween, and I thought the pack would be a fun edition. Spooky has 37 CAS items including clothing, accessories, and makeup for kids and adults. As expected, the clothing is all Halloween costumes, which is great for a party. There are 33 build items, which fit the Spooky theme with furniture, decorations, and wallpaper.
The new gameplay is the pumpkin carving station. There are 9 different pumpkin designs sims can make with orange, pale orange, green, and white pumpkins. Pumpkin carving uses the base game handiness skill, and the higher your sim’s handiness skill, the more pumpkin designs they can make. There is also a candy bowl sims can take candy from. Furthermore, there is a spooky party event. At the event, there are tasks to carve pumpkins, view carved pumpkins, dance, discuss costumes, ask for party treats, and perform mischief socials. If you have the Seasons Expansion Pack, the Spooky Stuff Pack would fit well because you can add a Halloween holiday and do activities from the Stuff Pack. However, since the Stuff Pack is quite limited in theme, I would suggest waiting for a sale to pick it up.

#10 Movie Hangout Stuff
Movie Hangout is the 5th Stuff Pack that came out in 2016, and it is all about watching movies. There are 37 CAS items with clothing and hair for adults. The clothing has an eclectic boho style, which is not as usable as other packs. Build mode has 34 items with a focus on living room furniture. The furniture also has an eclectic and funky style, which again, is not as usable. However, there is movie poster decor and two big TV projectors.
The new gameplay is 10 different movies your sims can watch alone or with others. The movies were made in The Sims 3 and they are fun to watch along with your sims. Another new gameplay object is the popcorn popper with 4 different flavors including Butter Popcorn, Kettle Corn, Cheddar Popcorn, and Caramel Corn. Depending on your sim’s cooking skill, it will determine which popcorn they make. Due to the eclectic style and limited gameplay of Movie Hangout, I would recommend waiting for a sale.

#9 Vintage Glamour
Vintage Gmalour is the 9th Stuff Pack that came out in 2016 that allows your sims to indulge in glamour. The pack has 27 CAS items including clothing, hair, and accessories for adults and kids. The clothing is elegant and inspired by classic Hollywood. There are 41 build items that are modern and elegant with metal accents. There are beds, dressers, a desk, a table, chairs, couches, and a fireplace. Therefore, you can decorate a living room, bedroom, and office with the pack.
The new gameplay is a butler. You can hire a live-in butler, and you will need to assign them a bed. The butler will clean, repair broken objects, garden, and watch younger sims. You can also ask them to cook, make drinks, invite visitors, or dismiss visitors. Another new gameplay feature at the time was the vanity table. There are 2 different variations of the vanity table and you can choose eye and lip makeup in all different colors without going into CAS. Also, the vanity table functions as a regular mirror where your sims can practice speech or change appearance in CAS. Now there is a new vanity table in the Modern Luxe Kit that functions the same as the vanity tables in Vintage Glamour.
Lastly, there is a globe bar where sims can pour a single drink or platter of Bacciform Firkin, Old Yorkfield Classic 16, and Simadder Cherry Sap. If your sim has a high mixology skill, they can also serve Black Fern and McDillan’s Single Nect. Vintage Glamour is not a bad pack as there is quite a bit of CAS and build items as well as new gameplay, but I would still wait for a sale.

#8 Laundry Day Stuff
Laundry Day is the 13th Stuff Pack that came out in 2018. Laundry Day is also the first Stuff Pack made based on a community vote, and players wanted their sims to do laundry. The pack has 20 CAS items with clothes and hair mainly for adults, but there is 1 dress and 1 shirt for kids. The clothes are country-themed, and it fits with the pack. There are also 49 build items with a focus on rustic wicker and wooden furniture. Some of the furniture includes chairs, tables, shelving, and 2 different sinks. There is also laundry room decor with an ironing board, broom, laundry detergent, and baskets.
The new gameplay is functional washers and dryers. There is a good variety of swatch colors as well as 3 laundry basket variants where sims put their dirty clothes in. When playing with laundry, sims gather the dirty clothes from the laundry baskets and place them in the washer. They then wash the clothes, place them in the dryer, dry the clothes, and put the clean clothes away. There is also a hand wash tub where sims can hand wash clothes and a clothesline to hang wet clothes. The tub and clothesline are perfect if you want to play with the Off-the-Grid lot trait and your sims cannot use any electricity.
Laundry Day does add realism to the game, but the washer and dryer have been buggy. When I played with laundry before, the washer will just stop working. The washer is not broken, but my sims were unable to use it. I would have to delete the washer and buy a new one to get the washer to work. The bug was supposed to be fixed, but there are still some players who experience the bug of not being able to wash clothes. I have also read about players who experienced their dryer catching on fire even after cleaning the lint tray, but I have not experienced that bug. Laundry Day is a fun pack, but I would wait for it to go on sale, and hopefully, you will not encounter the bugs!

#7 Backyard Stuff
Backyard is the 8th Stuff Pack that came out in 2016 to personalize your backyard. There are 25 CAS items including clothing and hair for kids and adults. CAS is fine casual wear, but nothing stands out. There are also 40 build items for the backyard. The furniture in Backyard is cute with wooden furniture and floral accents compared to Perfect Patio which includes modern furniture. In Backyard, there are tables, chairs, benches, plants, and backyard decor including 6 different wind chimes.
The new gameplay is water slides! There are 2 different variations, one that is flat and another one with a shark mouth sims go through, and they have fun swatch colors. The water slides are great for kids and adults can use them too. Furthermore, there is a bird feeder and sims can fill it with bird seed and watch the birds that come.
There is also the Summer Drink Tray that can be stocked with Lemonade, Citrus Swig, and Iced Tea. There are other drink trays in different packs, but they serve different drinks. The Spa Day Game Pack drink tray serves the Frizzy Fruity Drink, the For Rent Expansion Pack drink tray serves Sugarcane Juice, and the Riveria Retreat Kit drink tray serves Mint Citrus Nectar. There is also a base game drink tray that serves Hot Cocoa. I like the items in the Backyard Stuff Pack, and I prefer the furniture over Perfect Patio, but I would still wait for a sale.

#6 Kids Room Stuff
Kids Room is the 7th Stuff Pack that came out in 2016 and is all about kids’ rooms. There are 30 CAS items including clothing and hair for kids. The clothes are cute and there are fun patterns. There are 41 build items including a full bedroom set with nice swatches. There is a bed, nightstand, dresser, desk and chair, bookshelves, and a toy chest. Also, there is fun room decor like posters, photos hung on string lights, and decals of Voidcritters.
The new gameplay is the Battle Station. Sims of all ages can buy booster packs for §25 and get a Voidcritter card. There are 20 different Voidcritter cards to collect, and Voidcritters are similar to Pokemon. Child sims can then train a Voidcritter card at the Battle Station and also battle other kids. Furthermore, there is a Puppet Theater, and kids can perform 5 different puppet shows, which other sims can watch. Kids Room is a great Stuff Pack for kids’ rooms and the new gameplay is fun, especially with the Voidcritters, but it would be better to get the pack on sale.

#5 Tiny Living
Tiny Living is the 16th stuff pack that came out in 2020 and focused on tiny homes. There are 32 CAS items with clothing for adults and new hair for adults, children, and toddlers. The clothes are casual comfort wear, and I think they are cute. There are 36 build items with a focus on cozy wooden furniture. There is furniture for the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and I love the swatches.
Some of the furniture includes TVs with bookshelves and a stereo, a couch, a chair, and a poof for the living room, a compact toilet and sink for the bathroom, a single bed and dresser, and a compact desk and chair for the bedroom. There is nice decor too with a framed print, rug, and plants. I use the Tiny Living items all the time in my builds because they are generally nice and suit different styles of homes.
The new gameplay is that you can build tiny homes. There are 3 different residential lots you can set including a micro home with a maximum of 32 tiles, a tiny home with a max of 64 tiles, and a small home with at most 100 tiles. Each lot size has different perks including lower bills, better moods, double skill gain, and double plant growth.
Another new gameplay feature is Murphy beds. There are two variations and each variation has a version with and without a couch. Murphy beds are beds you pull down from the wall to sleep on. However, the beds come with a new death. When the Murphy bed is broken down, sims are likely to die from trying to pull the bed down, so it is best to make sure your sim has a high enough handiness skill to repair the bed when it is broken. However, since there is the risk of Murphy beds causing sims to die, I do not play with the beds that often. That said, Tiny Living is one of the better Stuff Packs, and I recommend buying it.

#4 Nifty Knitting Stuff
Nifty Knitting is the 17th stuff pack that came out in 2020 and is all about knitting. Like with Laundry Day, Nifty Knitting was the second community-voted Stuff Pack for The Sims 4. CAS has 41 items including clothing and hair for adults, kids, and toddlers. The clothing has knitted-like aesthetics, which is cute and fits the theme. There are 24 build items that are perfect for making a crafting room. There are 4 different rocking chairs, a desk, a couch, and a chair. Also, there is cute decor including a cart with crafting materials, an opened knitting book, and knitted wall decor.
The new gameplay is knitting. Knitting is a new 10-level skill, and there are 2 different knitting baskets you can buy and put in your sims inventory. From there, sims can knit clothing including beanies, socks, sweaters, sweaters with scarfs, newborn onesies, toddler onesies, and if you have the Cottage Living Expansion Pack, animal clothing. Sims can also knit child toys, decorations, hanging plant holders, mailbox cozies, poufs, and rugs. There is so much clothing, toys, and decor your sims can knit, which expands on the CAS and build items in the pack.
Another new gameplay feature is Plopsy. Plopsy is an app similar to Etsy on your sim’s phone where sims can list handmade items for §5. You can list knitted items, woodworking crafts, photos, paintings, cross stitches from the Cottage Living Expansion Pack, flower arrangements from the Seasons Expansion Pack, jewelry from Crystal Creations Stuff Pack, and more. Once your sim lists an item on Plopsy, they have to wait to receive an offer. When an offer is made, they then ship the item and receive payment. However, if the item is not sold after a week, they can relist it. You can also buy items from Plopsy! Nifty Knitting adds so much new gameplay and all the CAS and build items accessible through the knitting skill make Nifty Knitting worth the money.

#3 Crystal Creations Stuff
Crystal Creations is the 20th Stuff Pack that came out in 2024 that allows you to craft with the base game crystals. There are 85 CAS items including clothing for adults and hair for adults and kids. There is also a ton of jewelry. Furthermore, there are 32 build items with an old-school style to make a jewelry crafting room. There is a desk, table, bookshelves, display cases, jewelry boxes, and crystal decor. I feel like the build items also go well with the Realm of Magic Game Pack.
The new gameplay is the gemology table and the new 10-level gemology skill. With the table, you can use crystals you find out in the world or buy them and cut them into a gemstone shape or design a piece of jewelry. With the jewelry, you can choose the design, metal, and crystal to use. There are 48 different jewelry designs for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings, giving you over 1,000 possible combinations to make! Sims can wear the jewelry they craft, gift them to other sims, or sell them.
Also, each crystal has a specific bonus effect, and if you charge it in the moonlight, it will give off the effect. Furthermore, there are 11 different shapes sims can cut a gemstone into, and at level 3 gemology, sims can cut a crystal into a seed and plant it to become a crystal tree. Once full-grown, the tree gives you random crystals. Considering all the possible jewelry and gemstone shapes your sims to make, Crystal Creations is a solid pack that is worth the money.

#2 Paranormal Stuff
Paranormal is the 18th Stuff Pack that came out in 2021. The pack has 32 CAS items with clothing and hair for adults and kids. Toddlers also have a new hair. I love the style of the clothes, and I have my sims wear the pieces outside of the pack. Furthermore, there are 40 build items ideal for the living room and dining room. There are couches, chairs, tables, a desk, and a fireplace. There is also cute decor including a miniature cow plant, a hanging plant, and a crystal ball. The build items are eclectic but cute, and I use the decor and the couch with the blanket and pillows all the time.
The new gameplay is the seance table and medium skill. The medium skill is 5 levels, and sims level up the skill by using the seance table. At level 3 of the medium skill, sims can summon Bonehilda at any time. She is like a maid and will clean, repair broken items, and cook. There is also the new haunted house residential lot type. You can make any residential lot a haunted house and specters will appear. They can be happy, sad, or angry and your sim can communicate with them and give them items. Cursed objects including creepy dolls, eerie hands, and ectoplasm puddles will also appear on haunted house lots.
The last new gameplay feature is the paranormal investigator career. When your sim is level 5 of the medium skill, they can become a paranormal investigator. However, your sims will first have to ask Guidry, who is a ghost that appears at haunted house lots at night. Guidry will then give them a paranormal investigator license. You can also buy a paranormal investigator license from the Reward Store for 3,000 satisfaction points, but I find maxing the medium skill easier. Once your sim has the license, you can join the career and choose between the easy, medium, and hard levels of difficulty of the gig.
Once the gig starts, you can choose to follow your sims or send them alone, but their performance is not as good if you send them alone. At the gig, you will have a bar to fill by doing various tasks including getting specters to leave by asking them to, giving them a gift, or offering them your sim’s soul, which reduces your sim’s lifespan. Your sim will also have to remove cursed objects and create a seance circle to perform a ceremony.
You have a limited amount of time to complete the gig, and it can be challenging especially if your sim keeps getting scared and will not do any of the tasks. If your sim successfully exorcised the house, they will be paid for the job. Paranormal is one of the best Stuff Packs as there is a good selection of CAS and build items as well as a lot of new gameplay. Paranormal is worth the money!

#1 Home Chef Hustle Stuff
After not releasing a Stuff Pack for over 2 years, simmers were considered that there would not be any more Stuff Packs for The Sims 4. However, Home Chef Hustle became the 19th stuff pack and came out in 2023. The bar was set high by Paranormal, and Home Chef Hustle met and exceeded expectations. The pack has 45 CAS items including clothing and accessories for adults, apron outfits for kids, and a onesie for infants. There is also new hair for adults, kids, and toddlers. The clothing and accessories are food-themed with aprons, pizza motifs, and fruit and veggie patterns.
There are 25 build items for the kitchen that have a Scandinavian design. The new counters have great color swatches, and there is also a stove, fridge, sink, and compact dishwasher. There is also cute decor with pizza toppings, spices, a cookbook, a scale, and a dish rack. Compared to Cool Kitchen, I find the kitchen set in Home Chef Hustle much nicer.
The new gameplay is the pizza oven, waffle maker, and stand mixer appliances. With the stand mixer, sims can prep ingredients for cooking including batter, lactose-free batter, dough, prepped veggies, cookie dough, prepped seafood, prepped meat, and prepped meat substitutes. Making prepped ingredients reduces the cost of making a dish as well as the cooking time. With the waffle maker, sims can make 11 different waffles, and the pizza oven can be used to make 17 different pizzas. The kitchen appliances do require the cooking skill, so the higher the level of the skill, the more prepped ingredients and dishes the sims can make.
Another new gameplay feature is the food stand. The food stand is similar to market tables from the City Living and Eco Lifestyle Expansion Packs, but with the food stand, you can sell food and drinks. The food stand also has slots to put the pizza oven, waffle maker, and other small appliances. You can sell items from other packs at the food stand including ice cream from the Cool Kitchen Stuff Pack or lemonade from the Backyard Stuff Pack. You can place the food stand on your sim’s home lot or on a community lot and start a food sale, and for 5 hours, random sims will come up and buy the food. Also, you can set a markup of 0-300% and hopefully make a decent profit!
I love Home Chef Hustle, and I use the kitchen set all the time. Also, the appliances are a great addition and it is fun running a food stand. To me, Home Chef Hustle is the best Stuff Pack and definitely worth the money!

I LOVE paranormal stuff & nifty knitting! I used to love the laundry day, but I gotta say I got that bug and just gave up on using it 🙈 I should retry it now if you say they fixed that!
Also, I’m actually one who enjoyed my first pet.. but that being said I did buy it after the expension pack- so I didn’t had the issue. I wanna buy the crystal one so bad!
Both Paranormal and Nifty Knitting are great packs!
The bugs in Laundry Day are supposed to have been fixed, and when I played with the pack for this review, I didn’t experience any issues.
Crystal Creations is a fantastic pack because there is so much jewelry your sims can make!!
My rank is different but we have the 1st and the 20th ranks in common
1: Home Chef Hustle
2: Nifty Knitting
3: Kids Room
4: Toddler
5: Paranormal
6: Fitness
7: Spooky

It was fun seeing your rank, and yes, Luxury Party is the worst pack! I’m surprised you did rank some stuff packs higher though like Fitness and Cool Kitchen. To me, they don’t have as much gameplay and I don’t really like the items compared to the newer stuff packs.
Wow! these are really cool I had never seen these before. So creative and so many choices! Love it! Wish we had had these when I was growing up! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’ve grown up playing The Sims and it’s fun seeing the new packs that come for The Sims 4! You’re welcome!
I’ve never played SIMS before, but I really enjoyed your ranking. It’s nice to see what’s worth it and what isn’t. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome! The base game for The Sims 4 is free if you ever want to check it out! I think it is a great life simulation game and the base game itself is fun!

I’m not crazy about most of the stuff packs. However, I do love the My First Pet Pack bunches!
I love the small animals in My First Pet, but I wish the bug where it says they died from starvation even though they’re alive and well gets fixed!
I love The Sims franchise so much, that it’s embarrassing to admit how much money I’ve sunk into one franchise when I gush about it at work (I work in the games industry… which sort of helps but everyone hates EA, haha). I love the home chef hustle and have yet to try crystal creations. The jewelry creation seems fun!
I love The Sims too and yea EA is pretty terrible. The Home Chef Hustle pack is amazing, and Crystal Creations is fantastic too! I love that they incorporated a base game feature (collecting gems) and turned it into a hobby (making jewelry)
Wow I had not idea games become this involved so much to do here. I have not ever played games like this. I must say it looks interesting.

There are a lot of packs for The Sims 4 including $40 Expansion Packs, $20 Game Packs, these $10 Stuff Packs, and the $5 Kits, but the base game by itself can be fun!
I’ve never played or even seen Sims but it looks like you’ve ranked it well!
Thanks! The Sims 4 base game is free if you ever want to check it out! https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/download
I have not played Sims in a while, but it has always had a special place in my gaming heart as I used to love playing it. I don’t get to do much gaming nowadays but I would love to get into it again. These packs seem to be pretty decent. Thanks for ranking them!
The Sims is a fun game to dive into every now and then. I hope you find some time to play!
You’re welcome!
I’ve never played anything Sims-related I’m afraid, I’m not a gamer! But wow, this is a really comprehensive breakdown, it’s going to be mega useful for Sims fans 🙂
I’ve been playing The Sims since I was a kid, and it is a great life simulation game! Thanks!
Thanks for providing this ranking dear 🙂

Thank you! It is always so exciting when a new pack is announced and I’m happy that the Sims 4 is still doing Stuff Packs because you do get a lot for your money with the newest packs!
