Rating YouTuber Brands

Updated on May 11th, 2026

YouTubers regularly start their own brands, and I wanted to try some popular YouTuber brands in the food, drink, beauty, and lifestyle categories.

Feastables MrBeast Milk Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Crunch Bars

I have been wanting to try Feastables by MrBeast (466 million subscribers). MrBeast is the most subscribed channel on YouTube, and he does challenges and philanthropy videos. He started Feastables in 2022. However, the chocolate bars were not available in Denmark, and resellers were charging a ton of money ($10+) for a single small chocolate bar. My mother sent me the Feastables MrBeast Milk Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Crunch Bars as a Christmas gift, and I was excited to try them finally.

Feastables MrBeast Bar Review

First, the Feastables MrBeast Milk Chocolate Bar. The Milk Chocolate Bar only has 5 ingredients, including cane sugar, organic cocoa butter, organic chocolate liquor, organic milk, and organic vanilla powder. Compared to Hershey’s, the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar has sugar, milk, chocolate, cocoa butter, milk fat, soy lecithin, PGPR, and natural flavor, and none of the ingredients are organic. As far as the ingredients, the Feastables MrBeast Bar does seem of higher quality, but regarding the flavor, it just tastes like plain milk chocolate. Given the hype around Feastables, I was expecting this amazing-tasting chocolate bar, but to me, it just tasted fine.

Next, the Feastables MrBeast Milk Chocolate Crunch Bar. The Crunch Bar is the same MrBeast Milk Chocolate Bar, but with added puffed rice. I was expecting the same flavor as the Milk Chocolate Bar, but I was pleasantly surprised. The puffed rice does add more flavor and texture to the Milk Chocolate Bar, and I quite liked it. Out of the two Feastables MrBeast Bars I tried, I definitely prefer the Milk Chocolate Crunch over the plain Milk Chocolate. With all that said, I will rate Feastables MrBeast Bars a 7/10.

UPDATE: I have now tried the Feastables MrBeast Deez Nutz Bar. I was excited to try this bar because I love Reese’s, and the Deez Nutz Bar is milk chocolate with peanut butter. However, I was disappointed with the Deez Nutz Bar. The peanut butter layer is so thin that you barely taste the peanut butter flavor, and you mainly taste the milk chocolate flavor. I would much rather eat a Reese’s than a Deez Nutz Bar.

In 2024, Feastables changed the formula for the chocolate, and I have tried the new Milk Chocolate and Peanut Butter bars. At first, I was impressed that Feastables had mostly organic ingredients, but that is not the case anymore. The new recipe for the Milk Chocolate Bar contains sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, unsweetened chocolate, soy lecithin, and natural vanilla extract. There are no more organic ingredients, and the ingredients are quite similar to those in a Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, so the quality of ingredients has definitely decreased. As far as the flavor, it is fine. It is sweeter than the original Feastables bar, but it is not game-changing in any way. The new rating I give Feastables is 4/10.

Joyride Sour Pink Lemonade Strips and Cherry Berry Ropes

Joyride is a candy brand created by Ryan Trahan (22.2 million subscribers). Ryan is probably most known for his penny series, and he does a lot of other videos, including testing locations to stay at and restaurant reviews. Joyride is not available in Denmark. However, my mother sent me the Sour Pink Lemonade Strips and the Cherry Berry Ropes from the US. All Joyride candy is plant-based, has 70-80% less sugar than leading candy brands, and has no artificial sweeteners, synthetic colors, or other junk ingredients. Also, the bags of candy were $4.99 for 3.5 ounces at Target.

Joyride Review

First, the Sour Pink Lemonade Strips. The strips do have a good pink lemonade flavor, and I liked them. They are not the most sour candy I have had before, but there is some sourness. On the other hand, the Cherry Berry Ropes do not have any sourness. However, they do still have a great cherry flavor. Both the Sour Pink Lemonade Strips and Cherry Berry Ropes taste like candy without having a ton of sugar or artificial ingredients. If you are looking for a candy that is better for you than other name brands, Joyride is a good alternative. I would rate Joyride an 8/10.

1UP Candy

1UP is a freeze-dried candy brand co-founded by FaZe Rug (28.7 million subscribers). I was curious to try the candy as I know FaZe Rug is popular among Gen Alpha, and he makes various challenge videos. Therefore, the 1UP Candy is marketed towards kids. My mother sent me a bag of the Freeze Dried Lemon Tops, as 1UP is only available in the US. Also, a bag is $4.96 for 4.2 oz at Walmart.

1UP Candy Review

After trying the Freeze Dried Lemon Drops, I was not impressed. The candy is crunchy due to it being freeze-dried, but the flavor was just fine. It did have a lemony flavor, but it was not that good, and it was not sour or zesty. Also, the candies do contain artificial flavors or colors. Therefore, I would recommend JoyRide over 1UP for a better candy alternative. I would rate 1UP Candy a 3/10.

Prime Hydration Drinks

Prime is a brand of sports hydration drinks, energy drinks, and drink mixes that was launched in 2022 by Logan Paul (23.6 million subscribers) and KSI (17.2 million subscribers). I do not follow either of these YouTubers, but Logan Paul started his channel in 2015. Furthermore, KSI started his channel in 2009, and they collaborated to make Prime, and the drinks have been hyped. In June 2023, the Prime Hydration Drinks became available in Denmark, and I had to try them out. The energy drinks were not available in Denmark at the time because they contained twice the amount of legally allowed caffeine. However, there are four flavors of the caffeine-free hydration drinks available, including Ice Pop, Tropical Punch, Blue Raspberry, and Lemon Lime. Also, each bottle is 25 DKK / $3.64 for 500 ml in Denmark.

Prime Hydration Drinks Review

After trying all four flavors, I do believe the Prime Hydration Drinks are overhyped. The drinks do not have any sugar, but they do have artificial sweeteners like sucralose, which makes them taste sweet. The Ice Pop flavor is my least favorite because it is overly sweet, and it does not taste like something you should be drinking. However, Ice Pop does taste like a Bomb Pop, and if you like those popsicles, you may like the drink. I also do not like the Lemon Lime flavor because it just tastes like lime, and it is not for me.

On the other hand, I do like the Tropical Punch flavor because it does taste like fruit punch with a variety of fruity flavors. My favorite flavor out of the four is Blue Raspberry because it is not as sweet as the other drinks. Instead, the hydration drink is a little sour like blue raspberry candy. However, if I had to rate the Prime Hydration Drinks as a whole, I would give them a 6/10.

UPDATE: Since publishing the original post, the Strawberry Watermelon, Meta Moon, Cherry Freeze, and Erling Haaland flavors have become available in Denmark. I quite like the Strawberry Watermelon flavor because it tastes like strawberry with a hint of watermelon, and the drink is not overly sweet like some of the other flavors. Blue Raspberry is still my favorite flavor, though, but Strawberry Watermelon is a close second. As far as Meta Moon, I had no idea what it would taste like because the name does not hint at the flavor. However, Meta Moon tastes straight up like candy, but there is not a particular brand of candy that I think it tastes like. The drink is very sweet, even more so than Ice Pop. I did not like the flavor at all, and it is my least favorite Prime flavor.

As far as Cherry Freeze, it reminds me of Ice Pop and has a strong cherry flavor, and I did not care for it either. Lastly, the Erling Haaland is a limited edition flavor for summer 2024. The flavor is strawberry lemonade, but I only taste the lemonade. It is a good lemonade flavor that balances the sweetness and sourness, but I wish the strawberry flavor was stronger.

Raspberry Lemonade Tea from Top of the Mornin’ Coffee

In 2007, Seán started his YouTube channel Jacksepticeye (31.1 million subscribers), where he mainly does gaming videos as well as reaction videos. In 2020, Seán launched Top of the Mornin’ Coffee. I have been curious about the brand, and the reviews I have seen have been positive. I do not drink coffee, but Top of the Mornin’ Coffee also sells tea. After I received a coupon for Top of the Mornin’ Coffee, I figured I would try one of the teas. There are four flavors available, including Irish Breakfast Black Tea, Long Island Strawberry Green Tea, Raspberry Lemonade Fruity Herbal Tea, and Mango Monsoon Black Tea. After contemplating for a while, I decided on the Raspberry Lemonade Tea, which has notes of lemon, raspberry, and hibiscus. Each box of tea is $15 and contains 22 plant-based biodegradable bags, and the teas are caffeine-free.

Top of the Mornin’ Coffee Tea Review

I have tried the Raspberry Lemonade Tea both as a hot tea and as an iced tea, and it was delicious. The tea has a strong fruity flavor, and I do not need to use sugar or honey to sweeten it. However, you could use a small amount of sweetener if you like sweeter teas. Also, I appreciate that the pyramid teabags are compostable as well as the pouch the teabags came in. However, I will say the price is on the higher end for tea. You can easily find a pack of 20 teabags for less than $4 at the grocery store, but the teabags may not be compostable. Even though I do enjoy the flavor of the Top of the Mornin’ Coffee Raspberry Lemonade Tea, I do not see myself purchasing it again because of the price, and I rate it 8/10.

Chamberlain Coffee Lavender Matcha Latte

Even though I do not drink coffee, I have been wanting to try out the matcha from Chamberlain Coffee. Chamberlain Coffee was launched in 2019 by Emma Chamberlain (12 million subscribers). After having a look at the website, I decided on the Lavender Matcha Latte, which is normally €19 for a 10-ounce / 283-gram bag. However, I had a 15% discount code and shipping was free, which brought the total to €16.

Chamberlain Coffee Lavender Matcha Latte Review

The Lavender Matcha Latte is vegan and made from Japanese matcha and oat milk and has a sweet lavender flavor. I tried the matcha both hot and cold, and I liked it! For the hot latte, I added a tablespoon of the matcha powder to a mug with hot water. It is then recommended to use an electric whisk to mix the matcha, but I had no problem mixing it with a spoon. I then topped the latte with warm milk.

For the cold latte, I again added a tablespoon of matcha to a mug with hot water and mixed it with a spoon. I then added cold milk and ice cubes. Both the hot and cold lattes were delicious. The matcha does have a sweet flavor, but I did not find it overall sweet. However, the flavor can be off-putting to some if you do not like sweet drinks. However, I enjoyed the matcha latte. That said, I would probably not purchase another bag because the €19 price is a bit high. All in all, I would rate Chamberlain Coffee Lavender Matcha Latte an 8/10.

KiMs Kender Du Det Twin Chips and Husum Chili Cheese Chips

In 2023, the Danish brand KiMs had a Chips Battle between Danish YouTubers and influencers Alexander Husum (516, 000 subscribers), Kender Du Det (311,000 subscribers), and Familien Pitzner. Each YouTuber and influencer created their own flavor of chips, and the public voted on their favorite. Alexander Husum’s Chili Cheese Chips won, and the chip bags are around $2-$3 for 170 grams, which is a good price.

KiMs Chips Review

As far as the Husum Chili Cheese Chips, I did not like them. They have an artificial cheese flavor with a hint of chili, but they are not spicy. At McDonald’s in Denmark, you can buy chili cheese tops which is a melted cheese and chili pieces mixture that is breaded and fried. The chips did remind me of those, but I would much rather eat the chili cheese tops than the chips. I would rate these chips a 3/10.

The Kender Du Det Twin Chips have a sour cream and bearnaise flavor, and I was skeptical I would like them because I do not like bearnaise sauce. However, the chips actually have a good flavor. The chips are similar to a sour cream and onion flavor, but instead of onion, you have a garlic and tarragon flavor. Even though I did like these chips more than the chili cheese ones, I would not necessarily go out and buy another bag because I think KiMs has better flavors of chips. For the Kender Du Det Twin Chips, I would give them a 7/10.

UPDATE: For 2024, KiMs brought the Chips Battle back. This time it is with Morten Münster (523,000 subscribers), Jas og Mika (314,000 subscribers), and Anders Hemmingsen. Morten Münster has the Ohøj Chips, which taste like chili mayo. The flavor does remind me of regular sour cream and onion chips with added cayenne pepper. I like them, but I do not think they are the best chips. Jasmin og Mika have the Sprøde Hjerter chips, which are grilled chicken flavored. I am unable to try them because they contain beef and pork.

Nimya Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick

NikkieTutorials (15 million subscribers) began her YouTube channel in 2008, and she does makeup looks, beauty reviews, and challenges on her channel. In 2021, NikkieTutorials launched Nimya with four skincare products, including the Where It All Starts Cream, Set It & Forget It Setting Spray, License to Glow Serum, and the Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick. You can watch her video about launching her own brand if you are interested. She also now has a lip balm, 5 lip glosses, and an eyeshadow palette, but I decided to try the Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick as I have been wanting to try it out since she started her brand. The eye stick is $21 for 12 grams / .42 ounces of product.

Nimya Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick Review

The Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick is an instant depuffing cooling stick that hydrates stressed eyes, and it is cruelty-free and fragrance-free. You can use the eye stick on the under-eye area as well as on the upper and lower lids. Furthermore, you can store the eye stick in the fridge for an extra cooling effect, which I decided to do after trying the eye stick for the first time. The eye stick does have a cooling effect on its own, but I found the effect is stronger if you keep it in the fridge. The eye stick does not contain menthol. Instead, it uses xylitol for the cooling effect. Also, the eye stick contains caffeine to reduce puffiness and inflammation, green tea extract to calm irritation, and olive squalene to reduce redness.

I quite like the cooling eye stick because it is easy to use to hydrate the eye area, and it is also not irritating. The eye stick is a bit on the expensive side, but you do get quite a lot of product. Furthermore, the website includes recycling tips for every product component, which I appreciated. The cap and shive go in the plastic bin, the leaflet and consumer box go in the paper bin, and the stick goes in the general waste. For the Brrr Brrr Cooling Eye Stick, I would rate it a 9/10.

Royalty Soaps Hamburger Time Frosted Soap

Katie from Royalty Soaps (934,000 subscribers) started her YouTube channel in 2011. I started watching her channel when she reacted to viral soap hacks, and now I enjoy seeing all the soaps she creates for her shop. I wanted to try out one of her soaps, and I decided on the Hamburger Time Soap. You can even watch her YouTube video to see how she made it. The soap is adorable and looks like a hamburger with buns, patty, lettuce, ketchup, and mustard (or tomato and cheese). Also, the soap has a mango and citrus scent, which I enjoy, and it makes the bathroom smell so good, and the soap has a great lather! The soap is $14 for 178 grams / 6.3 ounces, which is not a bad price for handmade soap of that size. I would rate the soap a 9/10.

CLOAK T-Shirt and Poster

CLOAK is a clothing brand that Markiplier (38.3 million subscribers) and Jacksepticeye (31.1 million subscribers) created. However, Seán from Jacksepticeye has since left the company. As far as Mark, he started his YouTube channel in 2012, and he mainly does gaming videos. When Markiplier released In Space with Markiplier, I purchased several items from CLOAK, including a t-shirt for $32, a poster for $16, a pin, and mugs. The collection is no longer available, but they regularly release new collections with t-shirts and posters, and you can get an idea of the quality of items on CLOAK.

CLOAK Review

The t-shirt is made with 100% cotton, like their other t-shirts. The shirt is soft and comfortable to wear. Also, the print is good quality, and it looks great even after washing it regularly. As far as the sizing, I ordered the size I usually wear, but the shirt is on the larger size. Since their clothing is in unisex sizing, I would recommend checking their size chart before ordering. The poster is also of good quality, and it came rolled in a packaging tube to prevent damage. The poster is the same thickness as normal posters, and the print is fantastic. For both the t-shirt and poster, I would rate them an 8/10 because the prices on CLOAK are higher than I would expect.

Calina Herman Jam Cookie Phone Charm

Calina from Story Retold (3,090 subscribers) is a former Her Interactive employee, and she started her YouTube channel in 2017, where she plays the Nancy Drew games and other games. In her shop, she often recreates items from the Nancy Drew games, including the adorable jam cookie phone charm based on the cookies you make in The Silent Spy. I received a prototype of the phone charm in a giveaway Calina hosted for Nancy Drew’s 93rd Birthday. The icing is slightly different, and the sprinkles are a different shade of blue, but the charm is adorable! The charm is $13.99, and it is handcrafted from polymer clay that is then attached to a phone charm loop. If you play the Nancy Drew games or you want a cute phone charm, I definitely recommend checking it out! Also, I rate the phone charm a 9/10.

I reviewed the full nail polish collection from Holo Taco by Simply Nailogical (7.22 million subscribers) in collaboration with Safiya Nygaard (10.2 million subscribers). I also have shared reviews of various books written by YouTubers in my Rating YouTuber Books post.

The only one here I’m familiar with is Nimya and I’m a big fan of Nikki as well. I don’t tend to buy into YouTuber brands much if I’m honest unless it’s someone like Nikki, who you know is an absolute expert at her craft.

I really like the eye stick from Nimya! I am curious about the quality of her makeup, but at this point, I don’t need another eyeshadow palette or more lip products.
I usually don’t buy YouTuber products, but when a product is overhyped like Prime or a brand been around for years, it got me curious!

I’ve found that the more genuine and down-to-earth an “influencer” feels, the more likely their branded product is to be actually good. Overhyped and controversial content creators produce products like Prime that really just exist for the money, not because they’re actually good products.

I completely agree! Prime is definitely overhyped and seems like a cash grab because the drinks aren’t that good. Whereas with NikkieTutorials’ brand Nimya, you can tell that thought went into the products based on her experience as a beauty YouTuber for 15 years!

I actually looked into Chamberlain Coffee because she makes tea as well, but her matcha tea is expensive ($23-24 for 1 oz) vs Top of the Mornin’ tea ($15 for 2.3 oz) plus I had the coupon, so I tried Top of the Mornin’ instead. Also, Chamberlin Coffee has a plain green tea and a citrus chamomile tea for $12, but the flavors seemed boring compared to Top of the Mornin’.

This was such an interesting read! I’ve never tried any of these brands before (or any other YouTuber brands – to my knowledge) but I would definitely be open to it. The under eye stick sounds great – I love that it breaks down how to recycle each part / although it’s a shame about the Prime drinks, I hate overly sweet drinks too! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts x

Generally, I tend to avoid influencer or YouTube celebrities who then make/market branded products (I’m not entirely sure why I do this, but it could be that I don’t really follow or interact with them). It seems like some of the products a decent, but I’ll be honest and say that I’m unlikely to try any of them. It does seem good that there are a range of products with a number of them being environmentally aware, which is great (and a must) for any new products coming out. Thanks for sharing!

It is great that some of these brands are more environmentally friendly like Top of the Mornin’ with the biodegradable tea bags and Nimya’s recycling tips.
