YouTube is a great source of entertainment, and I wanted to share a list of beauty, fashion, gaming, and music YouTube channels I regularly watch.
Beauty & Fashion
Alexandria Ryan
Alexandria mainly does subscription box unboxings including Ipsy, P. Louise, Eyescream Beauty, FabFitFun, and newer subscription boxes as well as some from Etsy. For the holiday season, she unboxes different beauty advent calendars including the notorious Sephora advent calendars.
Safiya Nygaard
Safiya is not strictly a beauty or fashion YouTuber because she also has a lot of travel-related videos. I love her bad makeup science experiments videos where she mixes every type of one thing together such as every Lush bath bomb, every lip gloss from Sephora, or every soap from Whole Foods. I also like her questionable fashion videos where she wears thigh-high uggs for a week or a clear plastic outfit for a day. More recently she has been doing videos where she tries out a job for a day such as running a boba tea shop to making custom hard candy from scratch. She did collabs with Cristine (Simply Naillogical), which were fun to watch too. She also did live streams with her husband Tyler on the Safiya & Tyler channel where they tried different food, gadgets, and hacks as well as played games, but they have not done another live stream in almost 3 years.
Simply Nailogical
Cristine’s channel started off as a nail art channel, but she did a lot of testing of nail products and hacks, trying nail polishes, and sharing collection reveals for her brand Holo Taco. However, she has not uploaded on her main channel in over 2 years to focus on Holo Taco. She has a second channel Simply Not Logical, which has some nail-related videos, videos with her partner Ben and her sister Jen, and outtakes from her main channel. She also does live streams on her second channel during the launches of new Holo Taco collections and plays video games. Furthermore, Cristine started SimplyPodLogical, which is a podcast with her and Ben where they talk about everything from their past before YouTube, their jobs and relationship, Canada, influencers, and social media, and they also share advice.
Mia Maples
Mia regularly tests viral beauty products and fashion brands including comparing expensive makeup to dupes, and her videos are fun to watch. She also has a second channel More Mia Maples where she tries different foods and shares videos that did not make it to her main channel.
NikkieTutorials
Nikkie is amazing at doing creative makeup looks and challenges like the One Dip Makeup Challenge, and I also love her makeup reviews. She also released a 4-part documentary called Layers of Me, and I definitely recommend watching it because it gives insight into her past.
Other beauty and fashion YouTubers I occasionally watch:
- grav3yardgirl: Bunny tests different products and does hauls, unboxings, and tea vlogs. Bunny also has a second channel called banana peppers where she does stationery hauls and testings, mystery box unboxings.
- Jessica Kobeissi: Jessica is a photographer, and I like watching her reaction videos for episodes of America’s Next Top Model.
Gaming
Markiplier
Mark is my favorite gaming YouTuber, and he does a lot of let’s plays. I love his 3 Scary Games series, his Inscryption, Darkwood, and Five Nights at Freddy’s playthroughs, and the games he plays with friends Bob (muyskerm) and Wade (LordMinion777) like Chained Together, Lethal Company, Raft, The Forest, and Phasmophobia. He also did In Space with Markiplier and A Heist with Markiplier which are fun to watch because they are choose-your-own-adventure series. He also started the channel Unus Annus with Ethan Nestor where they uploaded a video every day for a year and at the end of the year in November 2020, they deleted it. Memento Mori.
lilsimsie
Kayla is a YouTube simmer and she mainly plays The Sims 4. She does a lot of build videos including renovations, budget challenges, and recreations of real houses as well as gameplay challenges including legacy on short lifespan, rags to riches, and the 100 baby challenge. She also has a second channel moresimsie where she uploads her Twitch streams of her playing The Sims, Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and other games.
Arglefumph
Michael is known as The Nancy Drew Dude because he does a lot of reviews and playthroughs of the Nancy Drew games. I love his Everything Wrong With the Nancy Drew Videogames series, and he did one for Mystery of the Seven Keys which was almost an hour long! In comparison, his other videos for the Nancy Drew games were 10-25 minutes long. He also does playthroughs of other mystery and adventure games like the Carol Reed games, Miss Clue, Alex Hill, and Jenny LeClue: Detectivú.
Eeowna
Iona is a cozy gamer, and she shares recommendations and reviews for cozy games to play on the Nintendo Switch, new and upcoming games as well as rankings of the games she has played. She also does livestreams playing various cozy games.
Snughly
Chloe mainly shares Nancy Drew-related videos including playthroughs, rankings, book and game comparisons, and recipes from the Nancy Drew Cookbook.
Other gaming YouTubers I occasionally watch:
- Cozy K: Kennedy is a cozy gamer, but she also shares cozy hobbies to try and lifestyle content
- Gab Smolders: I started watching Evelien’s videos including her Nancy Drew playthroughs and her It Takes Two playthrough with Sean.
- jacksepticeye: More recently I have watched Sean’s playthrough of My Friendly Neighborhood. I have also enjoyed his meme time and Animal Crossing: New Horizons videos.
- Mayor Mori: Mayor Mori shares helpful videos about Animal Crossing: New Horizons including updates and events and what fish and bugs to catch before the month ends.
- Plumbella: Jesse is another simmer I occasionally watch, and I like watching her Sims 4 builds and playthroughs.
- SimCubeez: SimCubeez shares stop motion builds she has done in the Sims 4.
- Story Retold: Calina is a former employee of Her Interactive, and I enjoy her take on the Mystery of the Seven Keys announcements. She also does live streams and playthroughs of the Nancy Drew games and other fun games.
Music
Ava Max
Ava Max is my favorite singer, and I love her voice and her music videos.
GlitchxCity
Glitch remixes music from video games like Animal Crossing, Pokemon, and The Legend of Zelda. She also created a playlist to study and relax.
Hildegard von Blingin’
Hildegard von Blingin’ makes songs in bardcore, which are medieval covers of modern songs. She has a beautiful voice, and I love her music. Her songs are all worth listening to!
Other music YouTubers I occasionally watch:
- Lindsey Stirling: Lindsey Stirling is amazing at playing the violin, and she writes her own music as well as does covers and collabs.
- Lubalin: Lubalin is a music artist and I love his internet drama series that he turned into music videos and the songs from his newest haha, no worries album.
- Maytree: Maytree is a Korean acappella group, and their cover songs are amazing!
I’m not sure if someone else recommended her, but you should check out jackscepticeye’s girlfriends channel: Gab Smolders. Her name is Evelyn and she plays Nancy Drew among other fun horror, chill, and puzzle games!! Absolutely love her!!
Even though I’ve watched some of Sean’s videos I haven’t seen any of Evelyn’s, but I definitely should! Thanks for the recommendation!
So many great YouTubers here! I loved this post! It’s really got me wanting to get backing into watching more gaming YouTubers… and playing The Sims!
Absolutely love Nikkie Tutorials and Grav3yardgirl! Nyma Tang’s videos sound right up my alley too! I’ll have to have a look.
Ellie Xx

I don’t really watch Youtube that often, but maybe I should start. Thanks for the suggestions!
You’re welcome & you should if you because there’s something for everyone!
Sounds good!
These all sound like really cool channels! I might have to check them out! I tend to watch mainly traveled related vloggers but I’ll have to branch out! Thanks for sharing!
I hope you’ll find a channel or two that you’ll enjoy!
I don’t watch travel vloggers, so who are your favorites?
I’m sure I will! There’s one called Backpacking Bananas and then a couple called Kara and Nate! Definitely worth checking out!
Thanks! I’ll check them out!
I used to watch GraveYardGirl but got kinda tired of her. I think she just became annoying to me LOL! I still watch Nikki every so often and Markiplier I’ve seen before because my grandson likes watching him once in a while plus he’s kinda hot LOL!!
I can see how you can annoyed by Bunny because she does have a lot of energy & she tends to go off on tangeants.
Haha Nikkie is great & I agree Mark is attractive
Omg Bunny drove me nuts cuz she would totally go off the subject…she kinda seemed all over the place lol 😂
I love lilsimsie’s videos too! Love sims 🙂

You’re welcome! I hope you find a channel or 2 that you like!
A great list of youtube channels to check out. My daughters would like the music channels as that is mainly what they are using YouTube for at the moment. I’m going to be having a nosey through some of the gaming channels you have mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I hope you & your daughters can find a new channel or two to watch!
Thanks for these suggestions! I’ve been getting increasingly bored with YouTube over the last few years. I just can’t watch some people I used to anymore. I love In the Frow, Hannah Witton, Fabulous Hannah, Loey Lane and Hailey Reese x
You’re welcome! There are some YouTubers I can’t watch anymore either. I’ll have to check out those channels!
Thank you for sharing these suggestions, I actually don’t watch a lot of YouTube so I love these ideas for someone trying to find interesting and engaging video content x
You’re welcome! I go through periods where I don’t watch YouTube much, but lately I’ve been watching YouTube a lot more!
I only really use YouTube for teaching, but my kids are avid viewers. Some of the gaming and beauty channels will be getting passed on to them! Thanks for sharing!
My daughter likes watching YouTube too & she especially loves Bunny & we’ll sometimes watch her videos together
These look like so much fun — thanks for the viewing inspiration!
They are!
We have to check these out. We’re curious about food vs. nail polish.
It was a fun challenge to watch with Cristine’s boyfriend, sister & her boyfiend’s brother!
Love so many of these channels! So many of these people are so inspiring with how they grow themselves outside of youtube too – things like holo taco are so great!
Yes I completely agree! I really want to get some holo taco polishes but shipping + customs would be a bit expensive to Denmark.
Oh no! I know they said they wanted to make it more accessible to other countries, so hopefully it’ll be a little cheaper soon!
They used to include customs in the price of shipping, but now they changed it to where the customer pays for customs (in Denmark it’s 20%) 😥
Oh no! That’s so much! Definitely would make me second-guess the purchase!
Love Safiya too!
Yes I love her videos!
Awww thanks for sharing! So many great and fun channels! I’m loving Emma’s Rectangle so much right now!
Katie | katieemmabeauty.com
You’re welcome! I will be sure to check out her channel!
You’ve included so many fab channels! I don’t watch Youtube as much anymore. But Rhiannon Ashlee is my fave Youtuber x
They are great!
I don’t think I’ve seen any of her videos before so I’ll be sure to check out her channel!
These looks like super fun channels! I love watching tutorial videos, general lifestyle or internet analysis videos. I like to play it in the background while I do other things. My fav at the moment is Tiffany Ferg! Thanks for sharing x

They are fun!
Ooo I’ll have to check out Tiffany’s channel!
I have to be honest, I don’t watch YouTube unless I have to because I used to edit videos for years and I had enough of them back then! That said, I think I’d love Hildegard von Blingin’ as something different, so I might give those a try! x
I can see how editing a ton of videos will make you tired of watching them.
Yes she is definitely different & her music is great!
