Ranking Every Cozy Game I Played in 2024

AD – PR Product | As the new year begins, I wanted to take this opportunity to rank the cozy game I played in 2024. I thought it would be fun to switch things up by ranking the cozy games from S Tier all the way down to D Tier. S Tier will include my favorite games I played in 2024 while D Tier games are ones I do not recommend playing. With that said, my opinion is subjective and you may have different views on the games.

What are Cozy Games?

Before I begin with the ranking, I want to clarify what cozy games are. Cozy games are games you play to relax. The games often do not involve combat or high-stress situations. Furthermore, they can cover a variety of genres from farming and life simulation to puzzle and story-rich games. For some of the games in this ranking, I received a copy to play and review. I mention at the start of the review and include an asterisk after the name if I received a copy. Now let us begin!

S Tier – My Favorites

The games listed in the S Tier are my favorite games I played this year, and I highly recommend them.

Loddlenaut*

Loddlenaut released in 2023, and I received a copy from Secret Mode. I have played through the story of Loddlenaut where you are tasked with cleaning the ocean planet, GUP-14. I enjoyed cleaning each area, and it was so satisfying. You also unlock new upgrades and cleaning equipment as you progress. I loved helping the loddles too, which are axolotl-like creatures. Loddlenaut is a fantastic game, and I know it may not be for everyone, but it is one of my favorite games I played in 2024.

Love, Ghostie*

Love, Ghostie released on August 14th, and I received a copy from Vicarious PR. In Love, Ghostie, you play as a ghost matchmaker for the manor’s residents. You can pair up the residents by giving them gifts and sending them on dates, and you can even watch their conversations and see how the dates go. There are also various mini-games to play and upgrades to unlock. Also, there is plenty of replayability, and in one playthrough, you can match 6 couples, and there are 66 combinations total! Love, Ghostie is another one of my favorite games I played this year, and I highly recommend it.

Minami Lane

Minami Lane released on February 28th, and in the game, you build your own street. There are 5 missions to playthrough, and you unlock and customize buildings, manage the shops, and maximize the happiness of the villagers to complete the missions. Minami Lane is a shorter game, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was one of my favorite games I played in 2024.

PowerWash Simulator

PowerWash Simulator released in 2022, and you run a power washing business. This game is another satisfying game where you slowly clean a home, vehicle, or public space. There is a career mode with bonus jobs, and as you earn money, you can unlock upgrades to your power washer. Furthermore, PowerWash Simulator has both free and paid DLC with the latest free DLC being an ice rink to clean for winter 2024. PowerWash Simulator is not going to be for everyone because you do need patience, but I thoroughly enjoy playing it.

Wylde Flowers

Wylde Flowers released in 2022, and in the game, you play as Tara who moves to the small town of Fairhaven to help on her grandma’s farm. She then learns about the coven of witches in Fairhaven and joins them. The game is fully voice-acted, which is uncommon for farming and life sims, and I enjoy expanding the farm, completing quests, and befriending the residents. Wylde Flowers is one of the best farming and life sim games I have played, and I highly recommend it.

A Tier – Great Games

The games listed in the A Tier are great games I recommend playing, but they are not one of my favorites.

The Cauldron Kids: The Summoning of Mr. Vermicelli*

The Cauldron Kids released on January 29th, and I received a copy from Pet Golem Games. In the game, you play as twin witch sisters who try to bring their frog plushie, Mr. Vermicelli, to life. The game is so cute, and there are mini-games to play throughout. There is also replayability where you play as the other sister, and I recommend checking out the game.

Doronko Wanko

Doronko Wanko released on March 26th as a free-to-play game. In the game, you play as a Pomeranian who wreaks havoc on the house. Your goal is to make the house as dirty as possible and find the 12 hidden paintings. Furthermore, you unlock gifts and accessories as you do more damage to the house. There is also replayability with completing all the badges, and it is such a fun game.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami released on May 23rd. In the game, you play as the Duck Detective who investigates a sausage-based conspiracy. The game is fully voice-acted which I love, and you inspect and interview suspects to figure out their secrets. Duck Detective is such a cozy mystery game, and I had a lot of fun playing it.

Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria released on August 5th, and in the game, you move to a farm in Mistria and restore the town to its former glory after an earthquake. I have only played Fields of Mistria for several hours so far, but it is a joy to play. I love all the character customization options, and I am having fun completing the quests. There is an in-game map that shows you where the characters are, which I appreciate as one of the beginning quests is to meet the villagers. There is farming, fishing, mining, crafting, and more in the game, and the mechanics are well done. I also like that fishing is straightforward and not a complicated mini-game. If you are looking for a great nostalgic farming game, I recommend Fields of Mistria.

Gourdlets

Gourdlets released on August 15th, and in the game you build a town for gourdlets. I loved decorating and customizing the town however I wanted. There have also been updates that added new items to decorate with. The game does not have any objectives, but there are Steam achievements that add goals to work towards. Gourdlets is a fun and cute game that I recommend playing especially if you like city-building games.

The Hidden Art of Innkeeping

The Hidden Art of Innkeeping released on September 3rd, and in the game, you take over an old farmhouse in a seaside villager and turn it into a luxurious inn. You will slowly unlock upgrades to the inn and you will meet guests and book rooms. You can also hire different employees at the inn including a housekeeper to find lost items, a chef to cook meals, and a receptionist who will show you which guests are coming. There are also various quests to complete in the village that will allow the village to grow. I had a joy playing The Hidden Art of Innkeeping, and I think it is a great game.

Kona

Kona released in 2017 and in the game, you play as private detective Carl Faubert who is investigating a vandalism case. However, he becomes trapped in the small town when an unexpected blizzard comes. You then investigate what happened to the residents of the town. Even though there are survival elements to the game where you have to keep track of Carl’s health, warmth, and stress, I never found these elements stressful. You can take your time to explore the town and uncover clues. Kona is a great mystery game, and it is a lot better than the sequel, which I will mention in the C tier.

Little Kitty, Big City

Little Kitty, Big City released on May 9th, and you play as a cat who is trying to make their way home. I enjoyed exploring the city and completing the quests. You can also find and wear hats! After the main story ends, you can continue playing and complete any unfinished side quests and achievements. Little Kitty, Big City is so fun to play, and I recommend it!

Lonesome Village*

Lonesome Village released in 2022, and I received a copy from Ogre Pixel. In the game, you play a coyote who uncovers the mysterious past of Lonesome Village and saves the town from evil. The main gameplay of Lonesome Village is completing puzzles in the tower to rescue the villagers. Each puzzle is different, and there is also the option to skip the puzzle if you get stuck. After you rescue the villagers, they will have different quests for you to do from crafting a specific item to taking a picture of an area. Furthermore, there is gardening, fishing, and mining. I enjoyed playing Lonesome Village, and it is a great puzzle game mixed with a life-sim.

Mika and The Witch’s Mountain*

Mika and The Witch’s Mountain released on August 21st, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you play as a young witch named Mika who delivers packages to the townspeople. The story is cute, and I liked traveling around the island by broom. There is an in-game map so you know where to make the deliveries and find the various townspeople. Mika and The Witch’s Mountain is a fun game that I recommend.

Miniatures*

Miniatures released on November 14th, and I received a copy from Neonhive. The game is different from all other games I have played this year because it is four short stories. The stories were unique and intriguing, and I liked the deeper meaning behind each one. Furthermore, I love the art style, and I would recommend playing if you like story-rich games.

Paper Trail*

Paper Trail released on May 21st, and I received a copy from Newfangled Games. In the game, you play as Paige who is leaving home for the first time to pursue her studies. Paper Trail is a unique puzzle game where you fold the scenes like paper to complete the puzzles. Each world adds a new mechanic, and there is a hint system that shows you the order to fold each level if you do get stuck. I also like the art style and the story with the narrated scenes. Furthermore, there is replayability with finding all the origami and secrets in all the worlds. Paper Trail is a great puzzle game that I would recommend.

Simpler Times

Simpler Times released on June 8th, and you play as Taina as she prepares to move out of her childhood home. You will play through each season and explore her room at your own pace. There are tasks to complete with a variety of puzzles from painting to assembling a birdhouse. Simpler Times is a great cozy game.

Smushi Come Home

Smushi Come Home released in 2023 and you play as Smushi the mushroom who is lost and trying to find their way home. In the game, you explore various areas, meet friendly inhabitants, and complete different challenges. I like the story and each area has a map so you know where to go. Some of the challenges can be difficult like the obstacle course, but there is an option to change the difficulty setting. Lastly, when you finish the story, you have the option to teleport to each area to finish the achievements. Smushi Come Home is a great game.

Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why released in 2020, and you play as twins Alyson and Tyler who reunite after 10 years and are preparing their childhood home for sale. However, revisiting their home forces them to confront their past and figure out what actually happened with their mother 10 years ago. Tell Me Why is a narrative adventure game where you make choices during the game. The choices you make will affect the twins’ relationship and future. I enjoyed playing through Tell Me Why, and I recommend playing, especially if you like the Life is Strange games.

Townframe*

Townframe released on October 8th, and I received a copy from norrimo. In the game, you recreate towns based on a description. Some of the levels are challenging, and there is a hint system to help. As you progress and complete the levels, you unlock more items from the shop such as adding sound and weather to the towns. Townframe is a fun and unique puzzle game that I recommend playing.

Venba

Venba released in 2023, and you play as an Indian mom who immigrated to Canada in the 1980s. The game is a narrative cooking game where you play through Venba’s story and also cook various dishes. Furthermore, the Steam achievements add replayability, and I enjoyed playing Venba.

Wilmot Works It Out*

Wilmot Works It Out released on October 23rd, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you complete jigsaw puzzles, and each in-game day you receive puzzle pieces. Even though the concept is simple, it can be challenging to figure out where the pieces go and you can receive extra pieces that are used for puzzles on a different day. Wilmot Works It Out is a great game to play every now and then especially if you like doing jigsaw puzzles.

B Tier – Good Games

B Tier games are good games that I recommend playing, but there are a few aspects I did like not from the gameplay or the price.

Amber Isle*

Amber Isle released on October 10th, and I received a copy from Team 17. In the game, you are a prehistoric shopkeeper where you craft and sell items, upgrade your shop, befriend Paleofolk, and bring the village of Amber Isle back to life. I love the character customization options and you have full reign to make pretty much any prehistoric character you want. Also, gathering the resources is easy enough and I liked crafting the items to sell in the shop.

Running the shop is fun. However, haggling prices is a bit tedious, and it is hard to place items in the shop when playing with a controller. Also, new characters eventually move to the island, but the house plots take up a lot of space and you have to ensure the space is completely clear before placing the plot. Amber Isle is a fun game, but there are a few things I did not like.

Broken Lens*

Broken Lens is a spot the difference type of puzzle game that released on July 22nd. I received a copy from Team RUN, and the concept is simple, but finding the differences can be challenging. There is a hint system that will show you the area to look, but you do have to wait in between using hints, so it can take a while to complete a level if you get stuck. That said, Broken Lens is a good puzzle game.

Cloudy Valley*

Cloudy Valley released on November 11th, and I received a copy from Surau Games. In the game, you play as Pix who goes on summer vacation and explores the archipelago. I did like exploring, meeting the cute characters, and completing some of the quests. However, there is no map or journal to keep track of quests. Therefore, when you find an item, it can be hard to remember where you had to go and which character to talk to. Cloudy Valley is a good cozy game, but there are a couple of improvements that can make it better to play.

Fruitbus*

Fruitbus released on October 28th, and I received a copy from Neonhive. In Fruitbus, you take over your grandma’s Fruitbus and invite guests to attend her Farewell Feast. I like driving around the Fruitbus and taking orders for bowls, smoothies, and sandwiches. Also, it is fun completing the quests. However, when the game first came out, there was a bug that prevented you from saving. Luckily, the developers fixed the bug and you can save your progress. There have also been a few moments where the game lags, but it is still a good and fun game.

House Flipper 2*

House Flipper 2 released in 2023, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you buy and flip houses and complete jobs. I LOVE House Flipper, and it is one of my most played games, therefore, I was excited for House Flipper 2. House Flipper 2 has many of the same tasks from the first game including cleaning dirt and windows and vacuuming, but there are some changes. In House Flipper 2, you now have to fill trash bags and throw them out when full. You also have to paint square by square, which is more tedious. However, there is a grid when placing items and a lot more customization options. I do think House Flipper 2 is a good house-flipping game, but I still prefer playing the first iteration.

Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange: True Colors released in 2021, and in the game, you play as Alex Chen who has the power to experience other’s emotions. Alex goes to live with her brother, but tragedy strikes and he dies in an accident. Alex then uses her power to discover the truth. I enjoyed the story, exploring the town, and meeting the residents. Also, I love the Life is Strange games because you feel like your choices matter.

However, my main issue with the game is the price. The game is $60 and it took me around 9 hours to complete the story. In comparison, Life is Strange 2 took me almost 20 hours for one playthrough and it is around $30. Furthermore, the newest Life is Strange game, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, is $50 and takes around 12 hours to complete. Life is Strange: True Colors is a good game, but I recommend not paying full price and instead waiting for a sale.

Lore of the Frog*

Lore of the Frog released on October 4th and I received a copy from Bacho and GuardHouse. In the game, you play as a frog archaeologist on a journey to Frog Island where you solve puzzles, find ancient frog statues, and put hats on frogs. I played through the story, and it was a cozy experience. You unlock the map that marks important locations when you find 3 waypoints in each area. The puzzles were not difficult to solve, but a lot of the game is just wandering around from finding wood for the cabin to objects you need for the puzzles. It is a good game though and a nice experience.

Sammy Jukes: Twin Lakes*

Sammy Jukes: Twin Lakes is a mystery game that released on September 19th, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you play as detective Sammy Jukes who is tasked with investigating the disappearance of Tammy who is part of the No Oil Group and protesting the pipeline being built in town. I like that the game is open world and you can walk around and use fast travel locations. Furthermore, you can change the walking speed to be faster. My favorite part of the game is that the dog is the in-game hint system!

There are a plethora of characters to meet and question. Many of them are hiding a secret that you uncover while investigating Tammy’s disappearance. One interesting aspect is that you need permission or a search warrant to investigate the character’s house or workplace, which does add some realism. I also think the voice acting is great. That said, Sammy Jukes: Twin Lakes is a bit rough around the edges and the characters have awkward facial expressions and they are always in the same position sitting or standing. However, it is a good game overall.

SUMMERHOUSE*

SUMMERHOUSE released on March 8th, and I received a copy from Future Friends Games. In the game, you use blocks to build houses and neighborhoods. You can choose between different settings and there is a good variety of homes and buildings you can create with the blocks. That said, the number of blocks available to use is limited, so it can feel repetitive if you use the same blocks over and over again. However, it is still a fun game to play every now and then.

Teacup

Teacup released in 2021, and in the game, you help Teacup the frog find the ingredients she needs for a tea party. I like the game’s art style, and I love the story. Also, I loved meeting the characters and completing the puzzles. Furthermore, I like that each puzzle is different from finding hidden objects to delivering coffee. However, the game is quite short. I completed the game in 89 minutes, and there is no replayability. That said, it is a good game that I do recommend playing.

6-Sided Stories*

6-Sided Stories is a puzzle game that released on November 20th, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you flip pieces and change the color to make the picture. You play through spring, summer, fall, winter, and even the credits, and the story is cute. Sometimes I got stuck on which piece to flip because the difference was so subtle, but the pieces that you need to change will shake after some time. Overall, 6-Sided Stories is a good puzzle game.

C Tier – Okay Games

C Tier games are okay games. They have a mix of pros and cons, but overall, I would still recommend them.

Ale & Tale Tavern*

I received a copy of Ale & Tale Tavern from Keymailer, which released on September 5th. In the game, you run your own tavern, but I have mixed thoughts. You can either play solo or with 3 friends, but it is difficult to play solo because you have to manage everything from taking orders and cooking to doing deliveries. When I do deliveries, I close the tavern so I do not have customers waiting and I will not get the constant message that there is no space for new customers.

I do like that you can make ale and food and even grow your own ingredients. However, the tools you use have durability and there is no option to repair them. Therefore, you just have to buy a new one. Lastly, there is a world you can explore outside of the tavern, but there is no in-game map. When I made a delivery at night, I got lost and it took me a while to find the tavern again. Ale & Tale Tavern is an interesting game, but there are quality-of-life improvements that need to be made.

Europa*

Europa released on October 11th, and in the game, you play as Zee who explores the fallen utopia to discover the story of the last human alive. I received a copy of Europa from Future Friends Games, and I have played through the story. I love the setting of Europa, and the puzzles are easy enough to figure out. However, there are some things I did not like about the game.

There are creatures you encounter, and some of them are especially annoying including ones that zap you out of the sky or explode when you get too close. Also, when solving the puzzles, you often have to jump to a platform, but Zee would just glide off the edge and I would have to start over. Lastly, I did not like the forced camera perspective during certain parts of the game. I did like playing Europa, but because of the downsides, it is an okay game.

Hot Springs (Onsen)*

Hot Springs (Onsen) is an idle game that released on October 25th, and I received a copy from the developer. The game is peaceful and you can listen to music and earn zen while you work on tasks outside of the game. Furthermore, the game has a to-do list and Pomodoro timer, and you can decorate your garden and visit others. However, there are improvements that can be made. You are able to farm in the game, but I found it difficult to figure out how because the help section is unclear and I kept buying plants that you cannot grow and are only decorative. Furthermore, there is a bug where my avatar kept wearing glasses. Even when I went to the character customization and removed them, my character would still wear them. Hot Springs (Onsen) is a cozy idle game, but there are improvements that should be made.

Kona II: Brume

Kona II: Brume is the sequel to Kona that released in 2023, but I prefer the first game. In the sequel, you play as Carl Faubert again as he uncovers the source of the mysterious storm (the Brume). Brume has similar elements to Kona where you have to worry about Carl’s health and warmth, but you do not have to carry around wood and firestarter anymore. There is also no stress bar.

In Kona, you can drive Carl’s truck from the start of the game and you can later find and fix a snowmobile. However, in Brume, you are on foot for about the first third of the game then you can find dogs for sledding. One of the main reasons why I did not like Brume as much was that it felt more like a chore to play. You have a lot of collecting to do to progress the story and there is a lot of going back and forth between areas. With all that said, Kona II: Brume is an okay game, and it can be worth checking out if you played Kona.

Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys

Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys is the 34th Nancy Drew game that released on May 7th. In the game, Nancy travels to Prague to uncover the truth behind the theft of an heirloom necklace. Mystery of the Seven Keys is a big improvement from the previous game Midnight in Salem, but there are things that bring the game down. I liked the setting of Prague, but the puzzles were often confusing to solve and it was unclear what you had to do next to progress the story.

Also, you can choose between point-and-click or free-roam movement in Mystery of the Seven Keys, but point-and-click is clunky and it can be hard to see specific items or even leave the area. Lastly, the graphics are an improvement from Midnight in Salem, but the background characters are repeated throughout the scenes. Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys is an okay game, but it is not one of my favorite Nancy Drew games.

SCHiM*

SCHiM is a unique puzzle game where you jump from shadow to shadow. The game released on July 18th, and I received a copy from Keymailer. I liked playing through the story and following the main character from childhood to adulthood. I also like the art style and the use of minimalism and color. However, I did not like that the reset points were inconsistent. If you made a mistake and jumped into the light, sometimes you would reset to right before the jump. However, at other times you would be halfway through the level and you would reset to the start of the level. Furthermore, it was sometimes unclear how to finish the level and the goal button did not help. SCHiM is an interesting game, but I did find it just okay.

D Tier – The Worst Games

D Tier games are the worst games I played in 2024 and I cannot recommend them.

Blob Life*

Blob Life released in 2023, and I received a copy from Keymailer. The game is simple where you take care of blobs by feeding them, giving them toys, and building them a house. Blobs have energy, affection, and hunger needs, but they do not have any levels or progression. You earn Blob Points by fulfilling their needs, but you can only use the points on food and toys. After playing for 15 minutes, I had over 7,000 Blob Points and nothing else to do in the game. Blob Life is simply a boring game that I cannot recommend playing.

Copycat*

Copycat released on September 19th, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you play as a newly adopted shelter cat, and you can choose 1 of 6 cats to play as. I wanted to love Copycat because I enjoy games where you play as an animal, but I was disappointed. I liked the voice acting and the nature expert narrating the cat’s feelings and actions, but all the loading screens and jump cuts took away from the story.

In the game, you would walk to one area, and then there would be a loading screen. Then there were several mini-games where you catch a feather toy, play an endless runner and avoid obstacles, and fight other cats, and that is it. Also, since Copycat is a narrative-driven game, there is no replayability because the story is going to play out exactly the same. For these reasons, I cannot recommend playing Copycat.

Hairdresser Simulator*

Hairdresser Simulator has the same publisher as House Flipper and House Flipper 2, so I was excited to play the game. I received a copy from Keymailer, and in the game, you renovate and run your salon and become a hairdresser. I had fun at first cleaning and renovating the salon and unlocking hairdressing courses. However, the game became grindy. I owned 3 salons, but to unlock the next hairdressing course, I had to own a fourth salon. However, the fourth salon cost twice as much as I saved up for the third salon. Furthermore, I experienced numerous bugs while playing including a game-breaking bug where the game became stuck on the loading screen and I had to force close the game and lose my progress for the day. Long story short, I cannot recommend Hairdress Simulator because it does get grindy and it is also buggy.

A Highland Song

A Highland Song was on my Wholesome Direct 2023 Wish List, but it was a letdown. In A Highland Song, you play as Moira who is running away from home in the Scottish Highlands and meeting her uncle at the sea. The game was fun at first and I loved the parts where you jump to the music, but it quickly became a chore. Essentially the world is one big maze where you have to find maps at random locations and then climb the mountain peaks to figure out where the map is leading you.

You also have to face the elements and worry about Moira’s health. There is fall damage, and Moira died numerous times while I was playing. However, you are generally respawned at a nearby location, but there were a few times were I was respawned at a location I have never been to. After playing for 2 and a half hours, I was utterly lost and I had no idea where to go or if I was even close to the end, so I gave up. I did not enjoy playing A Highland Song, and I would not recommend it.

Lost But Found released on November 25th, and in the game, you organize and give out lost items at the airport. The game seemed promising and it was fun at first, but it quickly went downhill. There are four different difficulty settings to choose from, and I opted for Normal, but it soon became too stressful. You have to take items off the conveyor belt in time, give people their lost items before the timer runs out, call people back when you find their lost item you did not previously have, clean dirty items, spray the robber to stop him from stealing your money, and take the stickers off items for your collection.

It was too much to do at once and I stopped calling people because sometimes they would not even show up. Other times, I would find the lost item, but someone else would immediately request that item before I could even call the person back. There are upgrades you can unlock such as a cash register that prevents the robber from stealing the money, but it is still a lot to deal with. Furthermore, the easier difficulty modes are way too slow, and the game is very repetitive with no story. I ended up requesting a refund for the game, and I would not recommend it.

Mail Time

Mail Time released in 2023, and you are a newly trained Mail Scout who is tasked with delivering mail to the residents in Grumblewood Grove. I like the art style and meeting the cute characters. However, there is no map despite the game being open-world, so I struggled to find all the characters. Also, the game is one long fetch quest where you meet with character A, give a letter to character B, and then return to character A. Furthermore, I find the price quite high because it is $20 and I finished the game and all the achievements in 3 hours. Mail Time is a cute game, but because of the repetitive gameplay and the high price, I cannot recommend playing.

Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem

Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem is the 33rd Nancy Drew game by Her Interactive that released in 2019. I replayed the game for Halloween, but it is still my least favorite Nancy Drew game. The graphics and character animations are terrible, there are barely any puzzles, the movement is clunky, and there is way too much dialogue. I would recommend playing any other Nancy Drew game over this one.

Real Estate Simulator*

Real Estate Simulator released on March 22nd, and I received a copy from Keymailer. In the game, you run a real estate agency, but the game is not fun at all. You first buy 2 tents a day in the Slums and place a sleeping bag in them. You then sell them, but the process is tedious because many clients are looking for homes in other neighborhoods. Once you sell the tents, you end the day and repeat until you can buy and sell the container or school bus in the Slums. You keep repeating the buying and selling process until you reach level 2, at which point you unlock the Suburbs. You will have to keep grinding until you can buy the cheapest house in the Suburbs, but I stopped playing at this point because it was so boring. I do not recommend playing this game.
