I am leaving this afternoon to fly to Copenhagen with a short layover in London. I am excited to get back to Denmark, but hopefully, I will not get too jet-lagged! Now onto the review for the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation!
This post contains affiliate links, which means I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through my links, but there is no extra cost to you.

When I purchased the Tarte Tartelette Matte Palette, I also bought the Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation in Light Beige. The foundation is vegan and has 16-hour long wear.
I absolutely love this liquid foundation! It provides full coverage, but it is also lightweight. The foundation blends well with my skin tone and it also blends well with the NYX concealer I regularly use. The foundation also lasts all day even when it is humid outside, and I do not need to touch up my makeup either because my face remains oil-free.
Furthermore, the foundation contains Amazonian clay for better and longer wear, vitamin E for a natural preservative and antioxidant, and mineral pigments to soothe and soften the skin. The foundation is also formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten.
The price is a bit high for this liquid foundation, but I believe it is worth it because the foundation can last for several months before needing to be repurchased. The foundation is available in 46 different shades and 4 undertones (sand, beige, honey, and neutral) to match your skin tone, so if you are looking for a full coverage foundation, I would definitely recommend the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation.

You should try it and I did! ^_^
Wow, that’s many tones to choose from, which is so helpful! I am still learning about what type of tone skin goes with sand, beige, honey and neutral. I know my skin tone is not cool but warm. Having read a lot about this foundation I will have a look soon at it to see and get one. My main problem with foundations is that the color looks so different no matter the shade I choose, so perhaps with this wide array of shades I will get the right one for me. The price is not expensive if it lasts so long. I used to have my Too Face foundation that lasted for months as well. Great post!
Thank you! Tarte does have a shade finder on their website, but I do recommend using the shade finder then testing the foundation that you think matches your skin tone in stores like Ulta or Sephora. I hope you can find a foundation that works for you!
That’s a good idea! Yes, I will first try a couple of different samples to see which one goes better on my skin tone. Thanks~!
You’re welcome ^_^
