It feels like so long since my last product review, and today I wanted to review the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer in Light.
The Tarte Shape Tape is a full coverage concealer with a matte finish. The Shape Tape can also be used as a highlighter if you get a shade lighter or for contouring if you get a shade darker. However, I only have the one Light shade, so I have only tried it out as a concealer. I mainly use the concealer on blemishes and other imperfections. I have also used the concealer to brighten the dark circles under my eyes, but I would prefer to use a lighter shade. The concealer has good pigment, and it works great with the Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation as well as my other foundations. The concealer applies easily with the doe foot applicator, and it blends easily with the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and other makeup sponges. I only need to use a very small amount of the concealer to get full coverage, and one small dab is more than enough to cover my whole under eye area. The concealer also lasts all day without creasing or fading with setting spray. The concealer is a bit on the expensive side, but I would say it is worth it for high-quality concealer. There are 14 shades available, and along with being cruelty-free, the concealer is also vegan.Overall, the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer is a high-quality full-coverage concealer that lasts all day.
