I bought the Tarte Tartelette Faves Best-Sellers Discovery Set a while back from Ulta for $22. This set is no longer available for purchase, but many of the products are available and I wanted to share my review for them.

The Sculptor Double-Ended Contour & Highlighter
Both the highlighter and contour are creamy and apply smoothly, but they are difficult to blend especially on my cheeks. The highlighter shade has too much shimmer, which did not look good on me. Also, the contour shade is a bit too dark for me. After only using The Sculptor several times, the highlighter end completely broke off, so I am very disappointed that it did not last. I can still use the contour end, but this is definitely not my go-to shade.

As an alternative, you can use the Tarte Shape Tape for $31 as a highlighter if you get a shade lighter and for contouring if you get a shade darker. I have reviewed the Tarte Shape Tape on my blog, and I highly recommend it.
Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara
I have previously reviewed this mascara in my Battle of the Mascaras post. The Gifted Mascara does add length and volume to my lashes, but it is much wetter in comparison to the Lights, Cameras, Lashes Mascara, which led to clumping. I would recommend purchasing the Lights, Cameras, Lashes Mascara instead of this one.

Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint in TBT
TBT is a mauve shade, which looks good with my skin tone. The lip paint applies liquid and dries mostly matte. Since it does not completely dry, it is not long-lasting and transfers when eating or drinking. The lip paint can be drying on the lips, so like with all liquid lipsticks I recommend using a lip scrub and moisturizer or lip balm. This lip paint is not the best liquid lipstick, but I love the shade.

As an alternative, you can check out the Tarte Sugar Rush Sugar Coat Velvet Liquid Lipstick for $18 in the Sprinkle shade. Sprinkle is a similar mauve shade as the TBT shade.
Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Sweet
Sweet is a pink shade with gold shimmer, which looks great on me. This blush applies smoothly, blends easily, and lasts all day. This blush is very similar to the W7 Candy Blush I reviewed, but this blush is a lighter pink shade and has more shimmer. Out of the 5 products in this set, this one is the best.

Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder
This setting powder is a white powder, but it becomes translucent on the skin. The powder does not make my face look chalky, but a little does go a long way. This powder helps set my makeup and makes it last longer throughout the day. Compared to the NYX Finishing Powder, this setting powder performs better for me.

Overall, both the Amazonian Clay Blush and the Smooth Operator Finishing Powder are great products, and I would highly recommend them. However, The Sculptor and Gifted Mascara failed to meet my expectations, and I cannot recommend them. On the other hand, the Lip Paint is just okay.

I bought a Tarte blusher for a friend’s birthday present. With our currency so low and Sephora hiking up prices too often, I don’t think I’ll purchase the blusher for myself anytime soon, even though I’m really interested to try it.
I understand!
