The Summer Sale is one of the biggest sales each year on Steam. During the sale, I bought 6 cozy games, which I wanted to share here.
Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat
Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat is an idle game where you help the panda Bao Bao create a laundromat. In the game, you can purchase washing machines and dryers, add decorations, and hire panda helpers. The game was 35% off for $2.59 during the Steam Summer Sale. I recently published a post on cozy desktop idle games I recommend. While working on the post, I came across Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat, and it looked like such a cute and fun idle game. I am looking forward to playing the game and seeing if it would be a good game to update my post with.

The Merry Fairy
The Merry Fairy is a scrapbook simulator set in a fairy cottage. You will be able to journal, decorate the scrapbook, and set the ambiance of the cottage. I bought the game for 90% off at $0.99 during the sale. I did watch a first look YouTube video on The Merry Fairy, and the game looked quite interesting because you can be creative while making your own scrapbook. Also, The Merry Fairy does seem more of an experience compared to other games I bought during the Summer Sale.

NUTS
NUTS is a surveillance mystery game where you record the squirrels, report your findings, and piece together what is going on in Melmoth Forest. The game was 90% off for $2.49 during the Summer Sale. I first heard about NUTS in the Discord server I am in for cozy gamers and content creators. It was recommended because the game had such a huge discount. However, the art style was divisive, but I am curious to explore the mystery.

Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit
Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit is a point-and-click mystery adventure game where you play as writer-turned-detective Penelope, who is tasked with solving the case of three people who have vanished. You will follow clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles. I purchased the game at 20% off for $19.99. I love mystery games, and Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit is reminiscent of old-school Nancy Drew PC games. Also, Penelope Pendrick and the Art of Deceit is on my list of cozy games I want to play in 2026, and the Summer Sale was a good time to pick it up.

Retro Rewind
In Retro Rewind, you manage your own video store in the early 90s. You will rent out movies, sell concessions, decorate your store, and expand the business. Retro Rewind was 20% off for $15.92 during the Steam Summer Sale. I watched Jacksepticeye play a bit of Retro Rewind, and it looked like a fun and nostalgic simulation game. I have already uploaded a first impressions playthrough of Retro Rewind on my YouTube channel, and so far, I am enjoying the game.

Tiny Whiny Island
The last game I bought was Tiny Whiny Island. Tiny Whiny Island is a short game where you play as a postman as you deliver letters, resolve local conflicts, and explore the coastal community. The game was 75% off for $0.99 during the sale. Tiny Whiny Island is another game I heard about in the Discord server. I enjoy mail delivery games, and I am excited to check it out.
