The 15 Best Roblox Games in 2026

Updated on January 29th, 2026

My daughter has been getting into Roblox lately, and I have been playing the games with her. I wanted to share some of our favorite free-to-play games. Since my daughter is younger, there are no horror games on this list of the 15 best Roblox games.

What is Roblox?

Roblox is an online game platform that allows users to create their own games, which can then be played by others. Many of the Roblox games are free-to-play, but most games have items you can buy for Robux, which cost real money. In the Roblox games, you often play with other people, but you can also create a private server for free and play with your friends or family.

#1 Adopt Me!

Adopt Me is one of the first Roblox games my daughter and I started playing. In Adopt Me, you hatch pets from eggs, and you will be given a starter egg for free. You then take care of your pets by feeding them, giving them a drink, bathing them, putting them to bed, and taking them to school, the playground, the pizza shop, the salon, the pool, and the campsite.

You then receive the in-game currency known as bucks for doing these tasks, which you can use to buy more eggs, decorate your house, and buy vehicles, pet accessories, and more. Adopt Me does have some items, such as pets, houses, and vehicles, that cost Robux, but it does not take away from the game because there is so much you can buy with just the regular bucks. At the playground, you can also play obbies (obstacle courses), which range from 1 star to 10 stars in difficulty.

#2 Blade Ball

Blade Ball is a game of focus, timing, and strategy. In the game, you avoid getting hit by the ball by blocking it when it gets close to earn coins. With the coins, you can buy new swords and abilities in the crates. Blade Ball has in-game items to purchase with Robux, but they are not necessary to play the game.

#3 Brookhaven RP

Brookhaven RP is one of my daughter’s favorite games because it is a role-playing game. There are no quests to complete, but there is plenty to explore in the city. You can also dress up your avatar, pick different houses to live in, choose the vehicle you want to drive, and choose the job you want. Brookhaven does have some game packs to buy with Robux if you want more houses or cars or to live in one of the special lots, but they are not necessary to have fun in the game.

#4 Dress to Impress

In Dress to Impress, you have a random theme, and you have to dress up your avatar with clothes and accessories, and change your hair and makeup to match the theme. At the end of the round, each avatar will walk down the runway, and you can rate each look from 1 to 5 stars. At the end of the voting, the player with the most votes wins. To unlock VIP hair and clothing, you will have to pay for the VIP Pass with Robux, but both my daughter and I have won rounds of Dress to Impress without the VIP items.

#5 Don’t Press the Button

There are different iterations of Don’t Press the Button, but they are pretty much all the same. You are in the middle of nowhere with a button, and if you press the button, anything could happen. In this Don’t Press the Button game, there are over 90 different stages from obbies to events like doges falling from the sky that will randomly occur when you press the button. If you pay Robux to have a private server, you can select the stage to play.

#6 Escape School Obby!

There are countless amounts of obbies on Roblox, but one of the obbies I have played with my daughter is the Escape School Obby! There are 31 stages as you manage to escape school without getting caught. We have also played plenty of other Escape obbies, including the Escape Prison Obby!, Escape The Dungeon Obby!, and Escape the Hotel! My daughter also likes the Ultimate Obby Creator, where you create your own obby.

#7 Find the Markers

Another Roblox game my daughter and I play is Find the Markers. Find the Markers is like a scavenger hunt, and you have to find the markers all across the game. Some markers are easy to find, but others are nearly impossible, and you have to complete extremely difficult obbies. There are currently over 200 markers to find, with new ones being added all the time. Other scavenger hunt games we enjoy playing are Find the Pandas, Find the Milks, Find the Cats, Find the Tarts, Epic Fidgit Hunt, and Play Cats Morphs: Friend Rescue.

#8 Hide and Seek Extreme

In Hide and Seek Extreme, you play with at most 13 other people. At the start of the game, one person will be chosen as “It”, and they will then have to find the other players who are hiding across the map. There are 6 different maps, including a bedroom, kitchen, and workshop, that have different secret hiding spots to find, and it can be a fun game to play.

#9 Mall Tycoon

In Mall Tycoon, you build your own mall. There are 12 floors of the mall with over 35 different stores to choose from. If you keep your customers happy by building the stores they want, you will receive more money in tips that you can use to buy more stores. You can also customize your mall to your liking by changing the color of the exterior to the objects in the interiors. Other tycoon games we play are Penguin Tycoon, Hospital Tycoon, and Tropical Resort Tycoon.

#10 Natural Disaster Survival

In Natural Disaster Survival, you are on an island, and you have to survive a natural disaster that can be anything from a tornado to a fire. Once the warning of the disaster appears, you have a short time to get to high ground if there is a tsunami or seek shelter if there is a blizzard. There are also over 20 different islands that can be randomly chosen, including a skyscraper, beach, ranch, school, and prison, so the game does not feel repetitive.

#11 Pet Simulator 99

Pet Simulator 99 is the new version of Pet Simulator X. In Pet Simulator 99, you collect pets, earn coins, and unlock new levels. There are over 1,000 pets to collect, and there are various mini-games too, including obbies and fishing. There are also plenty of quests to complete, and Pet Simulator 99 is a fun game.

#12 Restaurant Tycoon 2

In Restaurant Tycoon 2, you build and run your own restaurant. You can customize the restaurant and the menu, hire staff, and visit other restaurants on the server. As you progress in the game, you unlock more menu items and upgrades, and Restaurant Tycoon 2 is a lot of fun to play.

#13 Theme Park Tycoon 2

In most tycoon games, you earn money and then walk over a button to build the predetermined object. However, in Theme Park Tycoon 2, you have the freedom to build your own park. You can choose from the preset rides and stands, but you can also build your own roller coasters and buildings. Theme Park Tycoon reminds me a lot of RollerCoaster Tycoon, but Theme Park Tycoon 2 is free to play. My daughter and I have been enjoying building our own theme parks.

#14 Tower Defense Simulator

Tower Defense Simulator is a game my daughter has actually started playing with her dad. In the game, you build towers to fend off waves of zombies and bosses. You then earn coins to level up and build. There are different maps with varying difficulties that you can play with friends.

#15 Welcome to Bloxburg

Bloxburg used to cost 25 Robux to play, but it is now free to play for everyone. In Bloxburg, you can build your own house, work various jobs to get in-game money, and explore the town with friends. Bloxburg reminds me a bit of The Sims 4 because you have the freedom to build whatever you want. However, there are no cheat codes in Bloxburg, so you do have to work at the jobs to get money to build. In the past, I have built a modern home, a waterpark, an airport, and a camp. My daughter is currently building a town! There are gamepasses in Bloxburg that you can buy with Robux, but you can have fun in the game without any gamepasses.

These are really good games to play on Roblox, I don’t play online games as much as I used to, but I did find playing games online relaxing and it would definitely pass the time! x

You’re welcome! I haven’t tried making my own game on Roblox, but it’s nice that there’s the option or you could simply play someone else’s game
