Lately, I have been finding it difficult to have the motivation to blog, so I took a step back to focus on myself. I am back now, and hopefully, I will be able to stay on track because I have several exciting posts planned for the rest of this month.
Now, for today’s post, I wanted to create a makeup look that was chosen by Google’s random number generator. Since I have a decent collection of JSC makeup, I decided to narrow down my eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, and lipsticks to only be from JSC, whereas the rest of the makeup products included all the makeup brands I own.
The Makeup Look
The Eyes
To begin with, the eyes. I have 6 different eyeshadow primers, and the random number generator chose #6, which was the Too Faced primer. The primer is comparable to the Urban Decay Primer Potion I regularly use, but I do prefer the applicator of the Urban Decay primer. Next, I chose the eyeshadow palette, and I have 9 JSC Palettes. Out of those, the number generator picked #7, which was the Mini Breaker that has 9 shades. To choose the eyeshadow shades, I generated four numbers – #3, #4, #6, and #7 and created the eyeshadow look based on those. I think the purples, pink, and gold worked well together. To complete my eye look, I used the Tarte Lights, Cameras, Lashes mascara because I only open one mascara at a time.
The Face
For my face makeup, I started off with the Laura Mercier primer because that is the only face primer I have. I have 7 liquid and powder foundations, and the random number generator chose #6, which was the Laura Mercier liquid foundation I regularly use for my makeup looks. Since I know the foundation is too light for my skin tone, I topped it with the NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat Powder Foundation. For concealer, I had 4 to choose from, and the number generator chose #2, which was the Lancome concealer. It is a fine full-coverage concealer, but I prefer the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.
As far as blush, I have 9 different blushes, and the number generator picked #6, which was the Urban Decay blush. This blush used to be my favorite, but I have not used it in so long because I normally use a Soap & Glory or Tarte blush, so it was nice being able to use an old favorite again. For highlighters, I have 3 JSC highlighter palettes, and the number generator chose #1, the 24 Karat palette. The shades of this palette are rather dark, so I was a bit worried the number generator would choose the darkest shade, but it chose #1, which is the lightest and worked well with the look I already had going on.
The Lips
The makeup look was going well until I got to the lips. I have 5 JSC Velour Liquid Lipsticks, and the number generator chose #2, which was the Family Jewels shade. The shade is pretty, but it was too dark to go with the eyeshadow look. To hopefully save the look, I decided to top the liquid lipstick with one of the JSC lip ammunition. I have 9 total, and the number generator picked #4 Alien Tears, which has a pink shimmer and lightened the lipstick a little bit, but the lipstick was still too dark for my liking. Even though the lipstick was too dark, I liked how the overall look turned out.

That sounds like such a fun way to pick your make-up! The look turned out really striking – I love the purple and gold colours of your eyeshadow. x

It was fun to see what the number generator chose & thank you! 💜
The colours look amazing on you, I’m so scared when it comes to colour. Ironically the new palette by JS actually is more my cup of tea.
Thank you!
When I first started using makeup I was all about neutrals but now all my looks have to have a pop of color. I’m the opposite & his new palette isn’t my cup of tea, but I would get it for when I would want to do a neutral look. However, he’s restocking Jawbreaker in June & that palette is right up my alley!
My daughter has the conspiracy palette which is divine. I am a gothic dark lass myself and everyday is Halloween for me, my youngest daughter is every pink so the opposite x
I love Conspiracy too! I
t makes sense why you would like his new palette!
Great taste xx
This was a fun experiment! Maybe I should try it one time too. Thanks for the idea!

You were missed.
Aww 💙
What an amazing game to play! I love the eye shadow, it’s so vibrant! I am useless with makeup so thank you for giving me some ideas! xxx
Thank you so much! It was fun to see what the number generator chose!
This sounds like a fun game to play! The purple and gold combo actually works really well, and the pink helps to soften the whole look too. Maybe Google’s random number generator has some secret beauty talents after all…
Haha thank you! It was fun to do & see what Google’s random number generator picked out
This sounds like such a fun idea! I love the pink, but not a fan of the gold that went with it. A lighter pink would look good though! 😊 Going to have to try this myself.
It was fun to do & see what the random number generator chose! Yes a lighter pink would look good!
