AD – PR Product | Over the years, I have come across a subgenre of cozy games that I quite enjoy. These games are mail delivery games where you become a postal worker and deliver mail. In this post, I want to rank the mail delivery games I have played.
What are Mail Delivery Games?
Mail delivery games can be a type of job simulation game, and the main gameplay involves delivering mail. You are often a postal worker and deliver mail to the residents. However, the actual gameplay mechanics can vary from driving a mail truck or riding a broom to solving puzzles and platforming. For the ranking, I did not include games like Locomoto that include mail delivery, but it is not the main gameplay. For example, in Locomoto you are a train conductor and the main gameplay involves transporting passengers to different stations. With that said, let us begin with my ranking of the mail delivery games from worst to best.
Ranking Mail Delivery Games
#7 Mail Time
In Mail Time, you play as a newly trained Mail Scout and deliver mail to the residents of Grumblewood Grove. The art style and characters are adorable, but I did not like the gameplay. The game is open-world, but there is no in-game map. I struggled to find all the characters to deliver their mail. Also, the game itself is one long, repetitive quest where you receive a letter from the first character, deliver it to the second character, then return to the first character. Lastly, the game is $19.99, and I completed the story and all the Steam achievements in 3 hours. For these reasons, Mail Time is the worst mail delivery game I have played.
Mail Time is $19.99 on Steam

#6 Catto’s Post Office
Catto’s Post Office follows Catto the cat as you deliver mail around town. The art style is cute, and I did like the gameplay of delivering packages around town, helping residents with quests, and finding hidden ducks. That said, the main story takes around 40 minutes to play through, and completing all the Steam achievements took an extra 30 minutes. I believe $4.99 for a game that takes around an hour to play is a bit high, and I would recommend buying Catto’s Post Office on sale as it is a cute mail delivery game.
Catto’s Post Office is $4.99 on Steam

#5 Tiny Whiny Island
In Tiny Whiny Island, you become the island’s new postman. You ride around on a bike to deliver letters and solve conflicts with the locals. There are additional collectibles to find, and after the main story, the game switches to an endless mode. You can continue playing to deliver letters each day. However, the controls can be wonky because the postman is always on the bike. Also, it took one and a half hours to play through the main story, find all the collectibles, and complete all the Steam achievements. Tiny Whiny Island is not the worst mail delivery game, but I would still recommend buying it on sale.
Tiny Whiny Island is $3.99 on Steam

#4 Postmouse
Postmouse is a free-to-play game where you play as a mouse and deliver 3 letters to the residents of Yellow Woods. The game involves platforming, and you will have to figure out how to reach the residents to deliver their letters. The platforming can make it challenging to figure out where to go next, but there is an Instinct mode that you can activate to tell you the objective, highlight interactable areas, and show you where to go. There is a chase scene in the final level, which was quite stressful. With all that said, the game took less than 2 hours to play through the story, and I think Postmouse is a fine mail delivery game, especially if you enjoy platforming games.

#3 Mika and The Witch’s Mountain
I received a copy of Mika and The Witch’s Mountain from Keymailer. The game follows a young witch named Mika as she delivers packages to the townspeople while working toward her goal of reaching the top of the mountain. The story is cute, and I enjoyed exploring the island by broom. The controls do take some time to get used to because you are flying a broom, but unlike in Tiny Whiny Island, Mika is not always bound to her broom. There is also an in-game map so you know where to make the deliveries and find the townspeople. Along with delivering packages, you can find lost items and collectibles like tarot cards. Mika and The Witch’s Mountain is a fun take on a mail delivery game.
Mika and The Witch’s Mountain is $19.99 on Steam

#2 Little Postman
Little Postman is a free-to-play puzzle game where you play as a postman. You have to rotate areas of the island to reach the inhabitant and deliver their letter. There are 9 levels to play through, and they get progressively more challenging. It took me around 45 minutes to complete all the levels, and I do think Little Postman is a great puzzle game.

#1 Lake
My favorite mail delivery game is Lake. In Lake, you play as Meredith, who returns to her hometown of Providence Oaks to deliver mail. You will drive around the town in the mail truck, meet the residents, and deliver their mail. There are branching stories and multiple endings to the game. I enjoyed the story and the ability to make choices that affect the story. There is also the Season’s Greeting DLC where you play as Meredith’s dad, Thomas, as he delivers mail around the holidays. Lake is a great story-rich mail delivery game, and I have played for 18 hours, including the main game twice and the DLC once.
Lake is $19.99 on Steam
