AD – PR Product | I have been gifted a Nintendo Switch copy of the Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection by U&I Entertainment. After playing through the mini games, I want to share my thoughts on the collection.
What is Neopets?
Neopets is an online virtual pet game that began in 1999. On Neopets, you create a pet and care for their needs. You can also dress them up, play mini games to earn the virtual currency Neopoints, explore the different worlds and shops, and more. I made my first Neopets account when I was a kid, but I started a new account in 2013, which I revisit every now and then.
What is the Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection?
The Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection released on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $24.99. The collection is a remaster of 25 mini games on Neopets, with an additional new game created (Starlight Symphony). The mini games included in the collection are:

My Thoughts on the Mini Games
When you first start playing the Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection, you have to play through a story where 3 characters are competing to be the champion. I found the story fine, but I mainly cared about the mini games. For the mini games, you have to reach a minimum score in each of them to unlock the next area and more of the story. The mini games are fun, and I could often reach the minimum score on the first try, or in the next few tries, once I understood how to play. Some of my favorite mini games in the collection are Destruct-O-Match, Faerie Bubbles, Kou-Jong, and Usuki Frenzy.
However, there were a couple of mini games, including Hasee Bounce and Jumpin’ Gem Heist, that I found frustrating because they were timed and I could not reach the minimum score after numerous attempts. However, I could eventually pass the games and move on to the next ones. With the Mega Mini Games Collection, you can also sign into Neopass and have the Neopoints you earn in the mini games sent to your account. Just like with the mini games you play on the Neopets website, you can send Neopoints 3 times a day per game.
That said, I do find the $24.99 price of the collection quite high. With the exception of Starlight Symphony, you can go to the Neopets website and play all the mini games for free right now. However, the collection can be good for playing on the go, as you can use a Steam Deck or Switch to play the mini games and send the Neopoints you earn to your account.

Would I Recommend the Neopets Mega Mini Games Collection?
I did have fun playing most of the mini games, but I would not recommend the collection to everyone. If you do enjoy Neopets and the mini games, I would recommend buying the collection on sale, as it is great being able to play the mini games on the go. However, if you have no interest in Neopets or playing mini games, then I would not recommend the collection.
beautiful post, thank you
Thank you!
These games sound like they’re fun to play on the go! I like your idea of getting them on sale to try them first!

They are fun to play especially when you do not have access to the Neopets website. However, the collection is quite expensive for what it is, so it is better to wait for a sale!
