AD – Sponsored | When it comes to your blog, you may not believe business cards are necessary since your blog is in the digital space. However, there are numerous benefits to business cards for bloggers, In this post, I will highlight ways you can use business cards as a blogger and how you can use Aura Print for your printing needs.
Aura Print is an affordable option for your printing needs. You can create business cards, flyers, invitations, tags, stickers, and even playing cards. You can choose the style, paper type, and finish, including a gorgeous metallic finish. If you are undecided on the paper type or finish, you can order their Business Card Sample Pack or Metallic Foil Sample Pack to help you decide.
Aura Print has an in-house design team to create designs from scratch, or you can submit your own artwork. After you approve the proof, your order is printed and then delivered in 1-3 working days. Aura Print currently delivers in the US, UK, and Europe. Also, you can check out the blogger business cards I previously received from Aura Print and read about my experience working with them to design and print.

Ways to Use Business Cards as a Blogger
Events
You can attend blogger conferences, PR events, and press trips where you can potentially hand out your business cards. There are blogger conferences around the world open to all niches or specific niches, including lifestyle, travel, food, parent, DIY, home, beauty, fashion, and finance. At the conferences, you can meet other bloggers as well as brands. The conferences are a great way to network and hand out business cards to people you meet. Furthermore, brands can easily contact you later to collaborate if they have your business card with your information.
Even though I have been blogging for almost 8 years, I have yet to attend a blogger event. The events mainly seem to be for bloggers located in the US or the UK. Also, I am not a Danish blogger, so the chances of being invited to a Danish blogger event are minuscule. However, PR events and press trips are a great way to network with other bloggers and build a stronger relationship with the brand. You can hand out business cards to those you meet at the events.
Blogger Meetups
Along with events, another great way to use your business cards is when you attend a blogger meetup in your area. Blogger meetups are usually more informal than a blogger conference or event, and they are a fantastic way to get together with a smaller group of bloggers at a cafe, restaurant, or other location. You may not know every blogger at the meetup, so you can hand them your business card when you socialize and talk about your blog.
Community Spaces
Another way to use your business cards is to leave them in community spaces. Community centers, libraries, and other public spaces like grocery stores or laundromats usually have a table or bulletin board where individuals can place flyers or business cards. People walking by may stop at the bulletin board and notice your business card. From there, they can check out your blog. Placing your business cards in community spaces is a good way to grow your audience, especially for those in your local area.
Local Businesses
If your blog covers your local area and you feature local businesses, leaving your business cards at those businesses would be a great idea. Of course, you should first ask the business owner if it is okay, as you do not want to drop off your business cards without letting them know. Potential local businesses you can have your business cards at include shops, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, hotels, and attractions you have reviewed or plan to review on your blog. People stopping by these local places can pick up your business card and check out more places you featured on your blog.

Physical Orders
If you have a shop connected to your blog that sells physical products such as stationery, artwork, or books, it would be a good idea to pop in a business card when packing the order. Your customers will then easily know where the order came from and can be reminded to visit your blog and shop again.
Even if you do not have a shop, if you sell items like clothing, accessories, beauty products, home decor, etc., on Vinted, Depop, Mercari, Poshmark, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace, you can include your business card in the order. The person who receives the order may be interested in your blog and check out your content.
Giveaways
It has been quite some time since I hosted a giveaway on my blog. However, if you host giveaways on your blog and are sending a physical product to the winner, you can easily include your business card. The giveaway winner will know that the items came for you, and they will likely visit your blog again.
Friends and Family
Furthermore, you can give your business cards to family and friends. Even though they likely already know about and follow your blog, the business card is a good reminder to them. Additionally, if you give extra business cards to your family and friends, they can hand them out to people they know and potentially grow your blog’s audience.
Out and About
Whether you are traveling or sitting at a cafe, you never know when you will run into someone and strike up a conversation. When you begin talking about what you do, you can give them your business card. From there, they can check out your blog whenever it is convenient for them. When you are out and about and meet someone, the person may not remember your blog name or URL you told them by the time they sit down to check out your blog. Therefore, carrying business cards on you is a good idea as they are great reminders for people you meet.
Love these practical ideas you gave us to put our business cards to good use! I’ll be checking out this printer, I’ve needed one and I love the sample you showed us ❤️
You’re welcome! It’s great having business cards for my blog to hand out. I do recommend Aura Print! I got business cards from them a couple of years ago, and they’re great quality!
So happy to read this! I just was sooo disappointed by ordering some cards online from another company :(. I will try this love the idea great tips and overview I think business cards are so important. Thanks for sharing!
Aww I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed by the business cards you ordered from another company. I definitely recommend Aura Print, and I received my business cards from them a couple of years ago. The business cards are of great quality, and their designer included everything I wanted and made the changes I requested for the proof before printing them.
I still think there is a place for business cards.
I definitely agree!
I do not have a business card for my blog, only for my Etsy store. It would be fun to have a business card specifically for my blog though! It’s fun to hand them out to people! 🙂
I do recommend getting business cards for your blog too! It is great handing them out to people you know as well as new people you meet!
This is interesting, business cards are very good marketing to let other things. Even traveling can give people the cards.
I agree! They’re great for marketing and giving to people you meet!
I have never considered having business cards made for my blog. I can see why they could be useful, especially at blogger events! x

I definitely recommend getting business cards for your blog because they are useful for networking!
I include a card in packages when I send out clothes on ebay. I also leave them in places where women of my demographic are likely to find them. Like you I include a card in any giveaways,
That’s fantastic that you use business cards when sending ebay packages and giveaway items and you also leave them in areas where your audience will likely visit!
I’ve never considered business cards before–interesting idea! Thanks for sharing.
They’re helpful to have, especially for networking and handing them out to people you meet!
I don’t have business cards for my blog, but I used to have my blog’s URL underneath my freelance content writing URL on old business cards 🙂
Your freelance writing business cards is a good way to promote your blog as well.
This is something I’ve been thinking about for a long time, but never got around to doing. It’s great to have something on hand to give someone if you network, etc (which will be the subject of my next post so this has given me something else to think about)!
You should definitely consider getting business cards for your blog because they are great for networking! Plus, it’s a lot easier to hand someone your business card instead of telling them your blog’s name or URL and them trying to remember it. I’ll have to check out your post!
Hnmmmm, actually never thought of blogger business card before. Maybe I should look into it. Although the chances of blogger events around me is close to nothing
It would still be beneficial to have business cards for your blog even though there aren’t any events in your area. I’m not a Danish blogger, so I’ve never been invited to blogger events, but I’ve still handed out business cards to family and friends and people I’ve met.
So true! I used my business cards during events, meet-ups, community spaces, and physical orders. I’m now landing to redesign my card for 2024. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome! That’s great you’ve used your business cards a lot, and that’s exciting you’re looking to redesign them this year!
Great post! I have business cards from Aura Print (they’re so beautiful!) and always keep these things in mind if I’m out and about as I keep a few in my purse x
Aura Print’s business cards are fantastic! It’s great you keep some on you!
Thank you for sharing this! I always keep a few business cards with me just in case! These are all great tips! 🙂

I like this idea of having business cards for your blog! It is a great way to get your work out there especially locally. I live in a town where everyone has pride in our community and happy to support each other so this will really go a long way. Thank. you for putting the ideas out there
I completely agree! That’s awesome that you live in a community where people support each other.
I don’t have a need for business cards in my blogging life but I could see they would be beneficial to some.
That’s understandable. Not every blogger needs business cards, but it can be beneficial for some!
