Halloween Decor + Makeup Look

Updated on October 25th, 2023

Happy Halloween! 🎃 To celebrate I wanted to share my Halloween decor and crafts I did with my daughter as well as a makeup look!

Decor

Crafted cotton ghosts hanging from the ceiling and a banner of upside down bats on the wall

One of the first crafts we did was make ghosts using cotton. My daughter loved making these and we made 5 total that are spread throughout the apartment. I also bought hanging bats that you can see in the background from Flying Tiger, and they are so cute!

A small painted pumpkin, pine cone, twig, and cotton spider's web on a shelf

We also bought mini pumpkins and my daughter enjoyed painting all of them. I put them on the shelves with pine cones and sticks we found in the forest and spider’s web we bought.

Crafted foam cat, pumpkin, and spider on the door

At Flying Tiger, they also had a craft set and we made all the foam bats, cats, pumpkins, spiders, and ghosts and put them on the doors.

Crafted tissue paper candy corn and pumpkin window cling

For the windows, we made candy corn sun catchers using tissue paper and we paired them with window clings we bought from the toy store.

Outline of Peppa Pig's face carved in a pumpkin

Last but not least I carved a Peppa Pig pumpkin. My daughter loves Peppa Pig and even though she did not help with the pumpkin, she enjoyed watching me carve it and looking at it when I was done.

Makeup Look

Now for the makeup look! Last year for Halloween I did the Unicorns vs Vampires Makeup Look, but I was not sure what to do for this year. I was talking to Rei about ideas for a makeup look, and she came up with galactic witch, so this is my take on that!
