I have received another GoodieBox, and the theme for September was Look Good Feel Better. GoodieBox is a Danish beauty subscription box, so the boxes can only be shipped to Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands. Each box costs 169 kr / $27 a month and contains 5-7 items worth over 500 kr / $80.

Look Good Feel Better is a program that provides beauty courses, guidance, and pampering to women affected by cancer. I received 5 items in this box and 3 were full-sized, and all the brands support Look Good Feel Better.
Vichy Pureté Thermale Cleansing Gel: This gel can be used in the morning and evening to remove makeup, dirt, and impurities. This gel also leaves the skin clean, smooth, and glowing, and it is suitable for all skin types. I am looking forward to trying out this gel, but Vichy is not cruelty-free.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant (Full Size): This cream calms, protects, and heals dry and cracked skin for up to 8 hours. This cream can be used on the whole body including on sunburned skin, chapped lips, dry hands, and rough elbows. This cream can also be used to shape brows, add shine to the lips, legs, and eyelids, and to smooth nails. I am looking forward to using this cream especially on my hands, but the smell is absolutely horrible. Also, Elizabeth Arden is not cruelty-free.

Nivea Essentials Day Cream Sensitive (Full Size): This face cream soothes the skin, reduces redness, and provides moisture. This cream also has SPF 15, and it can be used by all skin types including by those with sensitive skin. This cream is free from perfume, dyes, and parabens. I just got the Lush Enzymion Moisturizer for my birthday, so I will hold off on trying out this cream for now. Also, Nivea is not cruelty-free.

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara: I received 1 of 2 mascaras from Max Factor, and the Masterpiece Max Mascara adds intense volume and separates the lashes in 1 stroke. This mascara is also smudge-proof and does not clump the lashes. I always like trying out new mascaras, but Max Factor is not cruelty-free.

L’Oréal Paris Infallible Les Accessoires Foundation Brush (Full Size): I received either a powder, foundation, contour or eye shadow brush. The brushes are dense, but soft and are made out of synthetic materials. The foundation brush is a flat brush that can be used with liquid or cream makeup. This brush applies makeup evenly and streak-free, and the tapered tip is good to use for hard to reach areas like the nose and under the eyes. I normally use a beautyblender with my liquid foundations, but I will try using this brush. However, L’Oréal is not cruelty-free.

Overall, I like that this box brought awareness to a good cause, and I will eventually use all of these items. This box also had a value of 774 kr / $122. However, I am disappointed that this box only included big brands that are not cruelty-free.
