I have never used a toner before, but I wanted to start using one as part of my skin care routine. I decided on trying the Lush Tea Tree Water Toner.
I have oily, acne-prone skin, and this toner is suited for those with oily skin. I use this toner after washing my face in the morning and evening (and before applying moisturizer). I spray this toner about 3-5 times directly onto my face and let it dry. Spraying the toner on my face feels refreshing, but you can also spray the toner on a cotton pad and apply it to your face that way. The toner does not have a strong scent, which is good for those sensitive to smell. The tea tree is also mild because it is not pure tea tree oil and instead it is diluted in water, which is great for those with sensitive skin. The toner only takes about a minute to dry, and once it has dried, it feels lightweight on my skin. After using this toner for several weeks, I have seen great results. The toner has kept my face soft and moisturized as well as reduced the oiliness and redness of my skin. Since my face has been less oily, I have had less breakouts and even my hormonal breakouts have been less severe. Based on the results I had, this toner is definitely worth the price and I will most likely repurchase it when I run out.
Overall, the Lush Tea Tree Water Toner is a mild toner that reduces oiliness while keeping the face moisturized.

What toner do you use?
Great review. I don’t use a toner. I have been using the same face scrub from Avon since I was 16. I occasionally treat myself to a face mask from Lush. I am pretty bad when it comes to skincare. I always seem to have a dry nose lol

Thank you! Oh wow. I would recommend using a moisturizer for your nose & you can occasionally use sheet masks too (like Tony Moly). Lush also has a toner for dry skin called Eau Roma Water Toner.

I either use this toner or plain witch hazel. I get practically the same results from both, but this one just smells better so I use it more often lol.
If you could check out my latest post it would be much appreciated 🙂

I had no idea Lush had this. I use a basic Neutrogena toner and it works to combat acne, but I’ve heard tea tree is great for that.

This sounds amazing! Although I do think you might be able to DIY this to save a bit of money. Tea tree is amazing on spots I’m always using it when I have any blemishes xo

You should be able to do a DIY by adding water to the tea tree & you can also add other oils like witch hazel & lavender

I think I might pick this up tomorrow. I have been wanting to add a toner into my routine and I have the oiliest skin. Especially right now during summer. I tried the Pixi Toner and it broke out my skin. But I LOVE lush products, so I should give this a try.
