Lush No Drought Review

I wash my hair every 2-4 days, and I purchased the Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo to make my hair look better and less oily on days I do not wash it.

No Drought is a powder based dry shampoo. The powder has a nice fruity scent, but it is extremely messy. When using the dry shampoo, powder goes everywhere including on my clothes and on the floor. It is also easy to pour too much, which makes it even more messy to use. Another problem I have with this dry shampoo is that it is difficult to blend in and I will often have white powder on my scalp after rubbing the powder in with my hands and brushing it out. I also feel like the powder does not make my hair look better or less oily. I have tried pouring the powder into my hands and then blending it in and pouring it directly onto my head, and my hair only looks more powdery than before I used the dry shampoo. I have also used the Batiste Dry Shampoo, and it does a much better job of making my hair look less oily and it is also much easier to apply.

Overall, the Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo has a nice scent, but it does not help my hair look better.

  1. It didn’t work much for me either, especially not since my hair is pitch black.. ive been using the Mr sandman dusting powder from the christmas collection if i’ve been in a pinch, looks better with glitter in your hair than white dust.

      1. Shipping is expensive though, and I’m not sure if I would have to pay an import tax. Luckily Malmö is only an hour by train, but it will probably take longer because of border control 😣
