I have received my second Birchbox which included these 5 items.
Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara: The mascara lengthens, volumizes, and curls lashes to create a dramatic look. The mascara is also long-wearing and does not smudge. I have received yet again another mascara from a beauty box, but I have been wanting to try this mascara since I have seen it recommend a lot. I have already tried this mascara out and it does add length and volume to my lashes. This is one of the best mascaras I have tried, but Benefit is not cruelty-free.
$24 at Benefit
Supergoop! Anti-Aging City Sunscreen Serum SPF 30: The serum repairs, protects, and primes the skin to counteract aging. I like that the serum is used as a sunscreen, but I feel like I am too young to start using anti-aging products. However, Supergoop! is cruelty-free.
$42 for 59 ml at Supergoop!
Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Soothing Moisturizing Cream: The cream hydrates, soothes, and protects skin from flare-ups. I can get redness in my face, so I am looking forward to trying this cream out. However, Jurlique is not cruelty-free.
$46 for 40 ml at Jurlique
Catherine Malandrino Style de Paris: The perfume blends grapefruit, orange blossom and Nashi pear with violet and patchouli. The perfume has a sophisticated scent, but it is not something I would wear. I could not find the cruelty-free status of this company.
$80 for 50 ml at Ulta (no longer available)
Davines This Is a Sea Salt Spray: The spray gives hair the beach wave effect while providing volume and moisture. I have been looking at sea salt sprays, so I am excited I received one in my box. The spray also smells nice, which is great for a hair product. Also, Davines does not test on animals.
$28 for 250 ml at Davines
Overall, I like most of the items I received, but I have to cancel my subscription because I am moving out of the country.
