The Lush Mask of Magnaminty is one of my favorite masks, and now I want to do a more in-depth review of this mask.
The Mask of Magnaminty is not one of Lush’s fresh face masks, so it has a shelf life of 4 months, and it does not need to be refrigerated. The mask can be used on both the face and body, but I only use it once a week on my face. Furthermore, the mask has a strong peppermint scent, but I do not find it overwhelming. Also, the mask is clay-based, so it is rather thick and not that messy to apply. A great thing about this mask is that I only need to wear it for 5-10 minutes before it completely dries. During this time, my face feels tingly from the peppermint oil, but it is not painful.
The mask washes off easily, and the added aduki beans help exfoliate my skin. The immediate results from using this mask are that my face looks clean, feels smooth and moisturized (due to the added honey), and the redness I had is reduced (due to the vanilla absolute). During the next few days after using this mask, my skin will be clearer, and my face will also be less oily. I would highly recommend this mask if you have oily or combination-oily skin.
Overall, the Lush Mask of Magnaminty is a wonderful mask that helps exfoliate, moisturize, reduce redness, and control the oiliness of my face.

I am without a doubt in love with Mask of Magnaminty. It has done wonders (and I mean, real wonders) for my skin. I never liked masks because they always left my skin very dry, but this one is just perfect. Not to mention it’s self-preserving, which I 100% prefer, and it smells nice too.

I switched to this mask due to not using the fresh ones quick enough and always forgetting it because it was in the fridge. Luckily I don’t need to use it anymore but it was my go to product when I had bad skin.
