I have read many good reviews about the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, so I bought the Original shade from Ulta to try.

When I first started wearing makeup, I did not wear an eyeshadow primer because I did not know a product like that existed. However, as the day went on, I would notice that my eyeshadow would fade and crease, and look nothing like when I first applied it. I then discovered that eyeshadow primers do in fact exist, and I decided to try the Original Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, which is a creamy nude shade, as it seemed to be highly recommended by others.
With the Urban Decay primer, my eyeshadow lasts all day and night without fading or creasing, which is a huge difference compared to when I did not use a primer. The primer applies easily with the wand applicator, but I do need to use my finger to cover all of my lids with the primer. Also, the primer dries quickly, and my eyeshadow applies smoothly and blends easily.
The primer works well with all different brands and finishes of eyeshadows from the Tarte Tartelette Matte Palette to the glitter shades from the Urban Decay Moondust Palette. Even though the price is a bit high, the primer is definitely worth the price. The primer is also available in other shades, including the Eden Primer Potion (a nude matte) and Sin Primer Potion (a champagne shimmer). I have since tried Sin, and I highly recommend it if you want a shimmery base that has the same benefits as the Original Primer Potion. Furthermore, Urban Decay has an Anti-Aging Primer Potion that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Overall, the Urban Decay Primer Potion is a great primer to use every time you wear eyeshadow.
