Since moving to Denmark, I decided to try out a Danish beauty subscription box called GoodieBox. The subscription boxes are 199 kr / $28 a month and have a minimum value of 650 kr / $92. I received my first GoodieBox last week, and the theme for August 2016 was Bloggers’ Choice.
I received both full-sized and sample-sized items, which came in a pink gradient box and were wrapped in tissue paper.
Wet Brush Paddle Hairbrush (Full Size)
The brush can be used both wet (in the shower) and dry (outside of the shower), and it detangles hair without pulling it out. In the shower, the brush is used to distribute shampoo, conditioner, and other hair care products. I have been needing a new hairbrush, so I was glad I received one in this box. Also, I love this brush because it easily detangles my hair without pulling it out. I have not tried this brush in the shower, but I like that it is multipurpose.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Face Gel (Full Size)
The Body Shop face gel gives the skin a natural sun-kissed glow. The gel is also non-streaky, nonsticky, and never leaves the face orange. I have never had a tan, so I am unsure how good this face gel will look. However, I do like that this gel can be used with or without foundation and that The Body Shop is cruelty-free.

Balance Me Super Moisturizing Hand Cream (Full Size)
The cream contains shea butter and lanolin, which helps moisturize and soothe dry and irritated hands. I have tried the Balance Me Congested Skin Serum I received in my June Birchbox, and I loved it, so I was excited to try another Balance Me product. The cream has a nice scent from the essential oils, and it dries quickly without feeling greasy. My hands feel softer, and I love that Balance Me products are natural and cruelty-free.

Benefit They’re Real! Tinted Eyelash Primer
The primer gives lashes a natural look, and it can be used with the They’re Real! Mascara to dramatically lengthen lashes. The primer is also waterproof. I have received the Benefit They’re Real! Mascara in my July 2016 Birchbox, and I was impressed with the length and volume it gave my lashes, so I was glad to receive this primer. I was concerned that the primer was brown instead of black and would not look natural with my lashes, but it did. I have not paired it with Benefit’s mascara, so I am looking forward to seeing how my lashes will look with both. However, the only downside to Benefit is that they are not cruelty-free.

Clean Rain Eau de Parfum
The perfume smells like rainfall with hints of daffodil and dewy melon mixed with water lilies, daisies, and musk. The perfume has a clean and fresh smell, but it is not a scent I would wear every day. I do like that this sample size came in a roll-on and also that Clean is cruelty-free.

Overall, I like the variety of items I received, and the box had a good value. I will definitely continue my subscription.
This is a great box! Is it like Ipsy and all that? If so I want to sign up!!
This is a monthly subscription box, but it is not personalized like Ipsy. The subscription is also only available in Denmark, and I would compare it to Glossybox which is available in more countries.
