Trips of a Lifetime Travel Bookmarks

D and J are photographers and travel writers who share their adventures on Make Them All Trips of a Lifetime. They turned some of the photos they took while traveling through Italy into bookmarks, which would be a wonderful gift for those who love to read and travel. The bookmarks are available on their website and also on Etsy. Furthermore, the bookmarks are C$3.50 and available in six different designs including:

Girl Eats Good by Jo Kenny

Girl Eats Good is the second cookbook by Jo Kenny, and it is £22.99 for a hardcover edition on Amazon. I have reviewed her first cookbook Cook It, Eat It, Live It, and I am thrilled to have been gifted her second book to review. Girl Eats Good is a collection of stress-free and nutritious recipes designed to fit into busy lives. Girl Eats Good features 57 recipes for breakfast, soups, salads, veggies, light bites, snacks, dips, and dressings. Every recipe includes a brief introduction, the prep and cooking times, a list of ingredients, and the directions. Many of the recipes can be made in 30 minutes or less, including prep time and cooking time, and numerous recipes take only 10-15 minutes to make.

Also, most recipes use 10 ingredients or fewer, and the ingredients are not hard to find. Furthermore, every recipe, with the exception of a few dips and dressing recipes, includes a photo, which I definitely appreciate. With the photos, you can see what the dish looks like if you are unfamiliar with it, and the pictures can also help you decide what to make. I would love to try several recipes, including the Banana Pancake Bites, Creamy Spinach and Orzo Soup, Grilled Peaches with Burrata and Mint, and the Courgette Fritters with Lemon Yoghurt. Girl Eats Good is a great gift for those who enjoy cooking and want nutritious meals but feel they do not have the time to cook.
