Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick Review

I have been talking a lot about the Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick Metallized, and today I wanted to do a full review on the Delusional shade.

Delusional is a gorgeous deep berry wine shade with a shimmer finish. This shade is unlike any shades I already own, and I love it! You can check my Christmas Makeup Look if you want to see what it looks like on the lips. The lipstick applies evenly with the paddle applicator, and I only need to use 1 layer for full coverage. However, the lipstick can have a lot of product on the applicator, so I recommend wiping some off in the tube before applying it to the lips. The lipstick dries completely matte, but it dries so quickly that it can be difficult to touch up around the edges. However, the lipstick does not feel that drying on my lips (much less though than most other liquid lipsticks). Like with all liquid lipsticks, I still recommend using a lip scrub and lip balm before applying this lipstick. The lipstick is also long-lasting and mostly transfer-proof, and it only fades a bit on the lips (more so on the inner lips) after a day of eating and drinking. The packaging for the lipstick looks pretty, and I like the clear tube because you can clearly see the shade. The lipsticks are normally $18, but they are on sale for $9 at Ulta, Sephora, and Urban Decay. I would definitely recommend purchasing this lipstick now if you are interested. At Ulta, there are 12 shades of the Metallized and 15 shades of the Comfort Matte lipsticks available, and the shade range includes neutral to bright shades. I have not tried any of the Comfort Matte shades yet, but I recently bought the Urban Decay Little Liquid Vices at Ulta, which includes 3 Comfort Matte shades and 1 Metallized shade.Overall, the Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick Metallized in Delusional is a gorgeous shade that is long-lasting, mostly transfer-proof, and not that drying on the lips.

      1. Well, it really depends on what colours you like. I adore the Naked Smoky palette because it contains a lot of sparkling eyeshadows mostly cool toned (blue/grey/mauve) and exactly the colours that suit my skin and eyes colour. I’m very pale and I don’t look good in warm shades.
The Urban Spectrum is another favourite of mine because I like dark purple and green shades. All have glitter in them. Some more other less. You can apply them wet or dry.
The Naked 2 has a lot of beige/brown colours (cool toned) and is excellent as a base and as an accent colour in the centre of the eyelids. There are many beautiful colours to choose from for the crease (transition colours).
The small Naked Basics is very practical because it’s pocket size and fits in a small handbag but I would never do a complete look only with these colours. They are too boring for my complexion. I need a pop of colour or I look ill. I use them as a base on my entire lid and in the crease.
I hope I haven’t confused you with my explanations.

      2. You were very helpful! Thank you! 😄When I first started getting into makeup I only wore neutral eyeshadows, but now I like shimmery shadows with pops of color, so the Naked Smoky and Urban Spectrum sound great for me! I also love the blue shades in the Urban Spectrum palette 😍

      3. My pleasure thank you. I can truly recommend these palettes. I know they’re a little bit pricey but in my opinion well worth the money.
