Make Up Academy Bronzer, Blusher & Eyeshadow Review

Updated on March 25th, 2025

I have not been feeling well these past few days, but today I am feeling much better, and I wanted to review the Make Up Academy Bronzer, Blusher, and Eyeshadow that I received in a giveaway.

Make Up Academy Bronzer Sunkissed Bronze

This bronzer is a soft tan shade with a matte finish. I normally do not use bronzers, but I still wanted to try it out. The bronzer has good pigment, and it applies smoothly and blends easily. The bronzer is also buildable, but it only lasts about 4-5 hours before fading. However, the price is definitely affordable, and I would recommend trying this bronzer if you normally use bronzers. Even though the price is great, there is only one shade of this bronzer available, which I doubt will work with all skin tones.

Make Up Academy Blusher in Bubblegum

Bubblegum is a coral pink shade with a matte finish, and I have used it in my Summer Makeup Look. The blush is very pigmented, but it is also a little powdery. However, the blush applies smoothly and blends easily. The blush is also buildable, but I would recommend starting out with a small amount because the first time I used this blush I used way too much since I did not expect it to be so pigmented. Like with the bronzer, the blush only lasts about 5 hours before fading, and using a face primer does not help it last longer. Despite the powderiness and the blush not lasting all day, the price is certainly affordable. There are 6 shades of this blush available in pink, peach, and orange shades, and I want to try the peach shade Cupcake next. I would definitely recommend this blush because it has amazing pigment, and it lasts most of the day.

Make Up Academy Pearl Mono Eyeshadow in Chamoisee

Chamoisee is a brown shade with a pearl finish. The eyeshadow has great pigment, and it applies smoothly with no fallout. I found this shade to be good for an all-over lid shade or just a highlight. Without using an eyeshadow primer, the eyeshadow creases and fades after about 3 hours, and at the end of the day it is mostly gone. However, with a primer the eyeshadow lasts all day without fading, creasing, or smudging. Like with the bronzer and blush, this eyeshadow is also affordable. There are 12 shades of the Pearl Mono Eyeshadows available in a variety of colors, and I would like to try more shades. I would highly recommend this eyeshadow since it has great pigment and lasts all day with a primer.

Left to Right: Make Up Academy Bronzer Sunkissed Bronze, Blusher in Bubblegum, and Pearl Mono Eyeshadow in Chamoisee

Overall, the Make Up Academy Bronzer, Blusher, and Eyeshadow are of great quality at a great price, but the only downside is that they do not last all day (with the exception of the eyeshadow when using primer).

MUA is my favourite brand! I own about 10 of their products which I use daily. Really good to see someone else loves it too!

Definitely their Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighters, I have 6 of them, literally obsessed! Plus, their Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette is amazing as well.

I did try some MUA products a while ago but didn’t really give them a fair chance, because I went in expecting them to be a bit rubbish. Recently though, I bought this eyeshadow palette to use the bottom right colour to fill in my brows, and it is absolutely perfect! So much better than the powder I used to use and extremely pigmented!

For the price you would think the products wouldn’t be that great, but they are! The palette looks nice & it’s good to know you can use it for more than just eyeshadow! 😊

MUA is sold in the UK, but they do ship to other countries. I agree the price is great!
