Manna Kadar Bronzer and Highlighter Duo Review

Happy Saturday everyone! Earlier this week I reviewed the Manna Kadar Fantasy and today I wanted to review the Manna Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo that I received in my September 2016 GoodieBox.

The duo includes a bronzer and highlighter that can also be used as an eyeshadow. The bronzer is an orangish brown shade with a shimmer finish, and the highlighter is a cream shade with a shimmer finish. Since the bronzer and highlighter come in the same pan that is split in half, I would like the pan size to be bigger because the halves are rather small for regular sized brushes. Despite the small pan size, the bronzer and highlighter apply smoothly and blend easily with pretty much no fallout. When I used the bronzer on my cheeks, the shade worked well with my skin tone. However, the bronzer could be more pigmented, and I would prefer a matte finish instead of a shimmer finish for contouring. Also, I do not know if the bronzer would work well with lighter or darker skin tones even though it is supposed to be a universal shade. When I used the highlighter on my nose and cheeks, the highlighter left a lot of shine, which is great if you want a natural glow. Even though I had problems with the bronzer, both the bronzer and highlighter were long-lasting, and the shimmer lasted all day. I also tried out these shades as an eyeshadow, and the small pan size was less of a problem when I used an eyeshadow brush (since the eyeshadow brushes could actually fit in the halves). I used the highlighter shade as a base and the bronzer in the crease. I found that the shades worked well together, and the shimmer finishes were perfect for eyeshadow. With an eyeshadow primer, the shades lasted all day without fading, creasing, or smudging. However, I would have liked the packaging to include a mirror since it would be easier to apply these shades especially when using them as an eyeshadow. As far as the price goes for the duo, I think it is expensive especially since the pan size is so small and the bronzer is rather problematic. I also think the bronzer and highlighter should be sold separately or at least have separate or even bigger pan sizes that would fit both highlighting and contouring brushes.

Left to Right: Highlighter and Bronzer

Overall,ย the Manna Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo has a small pan size for the price and even though the highlighter worked well, the bronzer was problematic.

  1. Love this post! The bronzer looks a little dark for me but I’d definitely use it as an eyeshadow if it didn’t work! Love the highlighter shade!

  2. I got this in one of my Ipsy bags and you are right the bronzer is a bit problematic, but I did really love the highlighter. I never thought though about using them as an shadow.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. Is it just me or is it a bit random to have a bronzer and highlighter duo? You’d think they’d include a blusher to make it a trio ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ. It looks good though, and it’s cool that you can use them as eyeshadows as well ๐Ÿ˜Š
