Norse Organics Skincare Review

AD – PR Product | I have acne-prone skin, and I am always open to trying new products that could help my skin. I was kindly gifted the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual from Norse Organics, and I am eager to share my thoughts on the products.

What is Norse Organics?

Norse Organics is a natural skincare brand that focuses on ingredients from Norwegian plants. Their products do not contain any chemicals, parabens, hormone disruptors, or water. Also, Norse Organics is a sister brand to Frøya Organics, which I have reviewed The Complete System for Mature Women’s Skin. Lastly, Norse Organics ships worldwide from Chicago, Illinois.

What is Included in the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual?

I was gifted the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual, which is $144 for a 2-month supply. The Kill Acne & Redness Ritual is a 3-step system that is intended to reduce acne and redness, clean the skin, and balance oil production. The products include:

  • 6-in-1 Daily Glow & Moisturize with thistle, beeswax, sea buckthorn, rosehip, pomegranate, and rosemary. The ingredients are used to reduce redness, moisturize the skin, and provide a natural glow
  • Acne & Redness Killer with thistle, marigold, beeswax, vitamin E, and lavender. The combination of ingredients helps kill acne, restore oil production, and prevent future acne
  • Premium+ Face Scrub with rice flour, apricot kernel powder, and rose flour to remove dirt and dead skin cells

How to Use the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual

The products in the Norse Organics Kill Acne & Redness Ritual are intended to be used alone and without any other skincare products. I did not use a cleanser, toner, serum, or moisturizer while using the products in the 3-step system. When I wore makeup, I used the MakeUp Eraser because the cloth only requires water to effectively remove makeup.

Both the 6-in-1 Daily Glow & Moisturize and Acne & Redness Killer are balms that are easily applied with the fingers. However, the Premium+ Face Scrub is a loose powder. Therefore, it is important to keep the tin level to avoid spilling the scrub.

Morning Routine

In the morning, I would wash my face with water. I then dried my hands and face and applied a small amount of the 6-in-1 Daily Glow & Moisturize to my whole face.

Evening Routine

In the evening, I would wash my face with water. If I wore makeup that day, I would use the MakeUp Eraser. I then would apply a small amount of the Acne & Redness Killer to my cheeks and chin as those are the main areas where I experience acne and redness. You can use the Acne & Redness Killer up to 4 times per day. However, I stuck to using the product once a day in the evening.

Weekly Routine

I also used the Premium+ Face Scrub 3 times a week. I would add a small amount of the scrub to my hands and then mix it with water. Afterward, I would scrub my face for about a minute and then rinse off the scrub.

My Results of Using the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual

At the beginning of this post, I mentioned that I had acne-prone skin. I mainly get blemishes on my chin and redness in my cheeks. Therefore, I was interested in seeing if the Norse Organics Kill Acne & Redness Ritual could help my skin. I have been using the products for over a week now, and I can already see an improvement. Since using the products, I have only had 1 new blemish on my chin, which quickly cleared up, and the redness in my cheeks has subsided. Many individuals who have used the Kill Acne & Redness Ritual have claimed to see results within 9 days and as little as 2 days, which is impressive.

Also, neither the 6-in-1 Daily Glow & Moisturize nor the Acne & Redness Killer balms feel greasy on my skin or make my face appear yellow. If you feel the balm is making your skin greasy, turning your face yellow, or staining your pillowcase, you are likely using too much product. Only a small amount of the balms are needed for them to be effective, which is great. Furthermore, I do not find the Premium+ Face Scrub rough on the skin, but it is still effective at cleansing.

Overall Thoughts on Norse Organics

The Kill Acne & Redness Ritual is a quick 2-minute ritual to incorporate into your skincare routine. The products are easy to use, and I found them effective. If you have acne and redness and find yourself too busy to have a 10-step skincare routine, I do recommend checking out Norse Organics.

Is their toxic dyes in this product as it turns my white pillow case yellow. What type of oil or dye is this yellow ??

There are no dyes in the products! The balms are made with a beeswax base, which is naturally yellow. Also, the night balm has thistle, marigold, and lavender oils while the day balm as thistle, sea buckthorn, pomegranate, rosehip, and argan oils that can naturally tint the balms.
I do believe you are applying too much product because the balms should not be turning your face yellow or staining your pillowcase.

I love to hear that you are already seeing results with these products, I will have to check them out and see if they have any vegan products without lavender because I have a really bad skin reaction to lavender. I also have some adult acne, and it reminds me of middle/high school and everyone saying that I would get over that when I am an adult. And that never happened T_T Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I’m sorry to hear you have a bad reaction to lavender. All their balms have beeswax so they aren’t vegan, and the only balm that has lavender is the Acne & Redness Killer. The Premium+ Face Scrub only contains rice flour, apricot kernel powder, and rose flour, which are anti-acne ingredients and vegan.
I was told when I was younger that I wouldn’t have acne as an adult, but here I am at 31-years-old with acne-prone skin.
