AD – PR Product | I previously reviewed the Vegamour HYDR-8 Collection. Since then, I have been given the opportunity to try out the Vegamour GRO line. I am excited to share my experience of using products the GRO products for the past 3 months!
What is Vegamour?
Vegamour is a 100% vegan and cruelty-free hair wellness brand. Their products use plant-based ingredients to promote healthier, beautiful hair, and they avoid harmful chemicals that can damage the hair. As I mentioned, I previously used the Vegamour HYDR-8 Collection to hydrate and strengthen my hair. Now, I have been using their GRO Collection for stronger, fuller-looking hair. Vegamour is based in the US, and they ship to numerous countries worldwide. You can purchase Vegamour products on the Vegamour website, Sephora, or Amazon.
Vegamour GRO Collection
The Vegamour GRO Collection is a line of products to strengthen, thicken, and give fuller-looking hair. The GRO Collection includes a hair serum, shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum, biotin gummies, and lash serum. You can purchase the GRO Full Routine Kit for $246, which also includes a dry shampoo, but the dry shampoo can only be shipped within the US. Also, Vegamour has a GRO+ Advanced Collection, which has added CBD and is recommended for those with moderate to severe hair thinning. All the products I tried are in the regular GRO Collection, which does not have CBD and is recommended for mild thinning and shedding.
Vegamour GRO Hair Serum 3-Pack
I have not used a hair serum before, and I was open to trying Vegamour’s GRO Hair Serum because I have always had thin hair. The 3-pack of Gro Hair Serum is $165, which lasts 3 months. The hair serum reduces signs of shedding and fallout, increases the appearance of hair density, and leaves hair stronger and healthier. I have been using the Vegamour Gro Hair Serum daily for 3 months. The hair serum is easy to use, and you fill the dropper and apply the serum to the scalp. You then massage the serum in and leave it in without rinsing. I incorporated the serum into my evening routine before bed, but you could also use it in the mornings. The serum does not make my hair greasy, and it absorbs quickly.
After using the serum for 3 months, my hair does feel stronger and healthier. I also have noticed less shedding and fallout. I do not experience hair loss, so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the serum with growing hair in thinning spots. However, there are numerous reviews and before and after pictures on Vegamour’s website of customers who had experienced hair loss, and the hair serum did help grow their hair. That said, about a month and a half in of using the serum, I cut about an inch or so off the ends of my hair and then dyed it. Now my hair is close to the original length and it does feel healthier. I will continue to use the serum as I was kindly gifted another 3-month supply.
Vegamour GRO Revitalizing Shampoo
The GRO Shampoo is a vegan shampoo that cleanses and strengthens the hair for $48. The shampoo works with all hair types and textures including fine, thin hair. The shampoo does not contain harsh sulfates (SLS and SLES) or chemicals that can strip your hair of color, so it is ideal for color-treated hair too. Furthermore, the shampoo uses the active ingredient Karmatin, which is a vegan keratin alternative to strengthen the hair. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week, and I have used this shampoo every time I wash my hair. The shampoo is easy to use, and you simply open the lid. A small amount of shampoo goes a long way, and it lathers quite a lot.
After 3 months of use, I still have quite a bit of shampoo left in the container. After applying the shampoo, I leave it on for a minute before rinsing then follow up with the GRO Revitalizing Conditioner. I love the smell of the shampoo, and it is different from the HYDR-8 Shampoo. The GRO Shampoo has a lovely citrus scent, that is from 100% pure essential oils. The shampoo does make my hair feel clean, and I believe it has contributed to strengthening my hair.
Vegamour GRO Revitalizing Conditioner
The GRO Conditioner is a vegan conditioner for $48 that smooths, adds shine, and strengthens the hair. Like the GRO Shampoo, the GRO Conditioner also contains Karmatin and has the same citrus scent. I also have a good amount of conditioner left in the container. After using the GRO Shampoo, I apply a quarter-sized amount of the GRO Conditioner to my hair. I leave the conditioner on for 2 minutes before rinsing it out. The conditioner does make my hair feel smooth and soft, and along with the shampoo and hair serum, it is made my hair stronger and healthier.
Vegamour GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum
The GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum is a weekly treatment used to remove impurities, clean buildup, and absorb excess oils for a healthier, refreshed scalp. The scalp serum is $42 and 100% vegan. I have used the scalp serum once a week before showering. The serum is easy to apply and massage in. I then leave the serum on for 5 minutes before washing my hair with the GRO Shampoo and Conditioner. The scalp serum does make my scalp feel clean, and it does reduce itchiness. Also, the scalp serum does not irritate my skin, and I believe it would be beneficial for those with dry, itchy scalps. The scalp serum does work well with the rest of the GRO collection.
Vegamour GRO Biotin Gummies
The GRO Biotin Gummies nourish the scalp and support healthier hair. A jar of the vegan gummies is $36 for a 30-day supply. The gummies contain biotin, folic acid, and vitamins A, B-5, C, E, 6, and 12 to support hair wellness. I ate one gummy a day for the full 30 days, and the gummies have a delicious strawberry flavor. Since I took the gummies in combination with using the GRO shampoo, conditioner, and serums, I cannot comment on how effective the gummies are on their own. However, Vegamour does recommend taking the gummies for 3 months to start noticing results. The gummies can be a good addition to the other GRO products and for supporting healthier hair.
Vegamour GRO Lash Serum
The last item in the GRO collection I had the opportunity to try is the GRO Lash Serum. The lash serum lengthens and volumizes lashes, and the serum is $68. The serum contains plant-based ingredients, and it does not contain hormones or chemicals or have negative side effects like skin discoloration. Vegamour states you can see results in 4-8 weeks. I used the lash serum in the morning and evening for two months then once a day afterward to my lash lines, and I did not experience any irritation from the serum. After using the lash serum for around 6 weeks, I did see that my lashes were longer and fuller. The GRO Lash Seurm does actually work, and I would recommend it if you want to grow your lashes. I will continue to use the lash serum as I was gifted a second lash serum to use.
Is the Vegamour GRO Collection Worth It?
I think the Vegamour GRO Collection is worth it! After using the GRO Hair Serum, Revitalizing Shampoo, Revitalizing Conditioner, and Detoxifying Scalp Serum for 3 months, my hair is stronger and healthier. I have also experienced less shedding and fallout. The collection is a bit pricy, but the hair serum does work. Furthermore, the shampoo, conditioner, and scalp serum do last a while, and after 3 months of use, I still have plenty of product left. On top of that, the GRO Lash Serum does work and my lashes are longer and fuller after 6 weeks of use. If you are looking to support your hair health or grow your lashes, the Vegamour GRO Collection is worth checking out!

Vegamour sound like such a great brand. This range doesn’t sound suited to my hair type, but it sounds fab and it’s good to know that it works. The citrus scent sounds lovely and it’s great that it’s all from essential oils xx

Vegamour is a great brand, and if the GRO line doesn’t sound like it’s for you, I would recommend trying out their HYDR-8 line!

Thank you for this review, it’s really helpful as I’ve been trying to get my hair to grow longer. I’d heard of Vegamour before but hadn’t tried them as they are expensive. But if they really do work to make your hair stronger and healthier then I think it would be worth it! Thanks for sharing your experience.
You’re welcome! Vegamour’s product are on the expensive side, but they do work. Plus some of the products like the shampoo and conditioner last months so you don’t have to frequently repurchase them.
