JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm Review

Updated on July 22nd, 2026

AD – PR Product | I love trying out new skincare products, and I am excited to share my thoughts on the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm.

About JUNOCO

JUNOCO is a cruelty-free skincare company based in California that aims to celebrate real skin that has acne, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration because they believe all skin is beautiful. They make products that are sustainable with simplified formulas because they believe you should not have to compromise the environment for healthy skin. JUNOCO currently only ships to the United States, and some of their products are also available in Ulta.

The JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm and Cleansing Cookie

JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm

The Clean 10 Cleansing Balm is an oil-based cleanser for all skin types that removes all makeup, including waterproof makeup, without stripping the natural oils of your skin. The cleansing balm is $14.96 for 3 ounces / 85 grams. It has only 10 ingredients, including Japanese Pearl Barley, which moisturizes the skin and brightens hyperpigmentation, as well as Vitamin E, which helps with moisturizing and aging, and Tangerines for a fresh, all-natural fragrance.

The Ingredients

The cleansing balm contains only 10 ingredients that are gentle and effective. There are no fillers with microplastics and other irritants that can damage the ecosystem.

  1. Ethylhexyl Palmitate
  2. Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride
  3. Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate
  4. Synthetic Wax
  5. Polysorbate 85
  6. Fermented Japanese Pearl Barley (Saccharomyces/Coix Lacryma-Jobi Ma-Yuen Seed Ferment Filtrate)
  7. Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil
  8. Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate)
  9. Water
  10. Butylene Glycol

My Thoughts on the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm

I first used the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm on my everyday makeup, which is just primer, concealer, foundation, and blush. The cleansing balm is easy to use, and I used the little spatula to scoop some of the balm out, rubbed it between my fingers, and massaged it onto my face. When I rinsed the balm off with warm water, all my makeup was removed. I then wanted to put the cleansing balm to the test, and I used it on a full face of makeup including eyeshadow, mascara, and lipstick.

The cleansing balm can be used for eye makeup, but you want to make sure you keep your eyes closed when you are using the balm. I was thrilled to see that the balm removed all of my makeup, including the mascara. Also, the balm does feel oily at first because it is an oil-based cleanser, but after I rinse the balm off, my skin feels clean and moisturized. The balm is a great alternative to makeup wipes. If you regularly wear makeup, I definitely recommend trying out the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm.

JUNOCO Cleansing Cookie

Along with the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm, I was also gifted the JUNOCO Cleansing Cookie. The cleansing cookie is $8, and it is made from cotton, which is great for sensitive skin. The cookie can be paired with the cleansing balm, and after you apply the balm to your face, the cookie can help you remove stubborn makeup, and it is gentle around the eye area. The cleansing cookie is so soft on the skin, and it does help remove makeup. Along with the Clean 10 Cleansing Balm, the Cleansing Cookie is a fantastic sustainable alternative to makeup wipes.

What do you think of the JUNOCO Clean 10 Cleansing Balm?

This is the first time I hear of this product but it sounds very promising! I can imagine that it’s also handy on summer holiday because of the compact format.

The cleansing balm is great and I did bring it with me when I visited my parents in the US! It doesn’t take up much room at all!

A cleaning cookie, I love that! It sounds like a lovely cleansing balm – I actually bought an orange vit C moisturiser recently and it smells lovely, really fresh and uplifting, so I like that Junoco put orange peel oil in this. xx

This product sounds lovely. I used to us a balm type cleanser for many years before switching to the one I’m using now. Sounds like your skin feels amazing after using this.

I hadn’t heard of this brand before, so you’ve introduced me to something new. It’s also good to see that they don’t have microplastics in the products, because that’s a real problem that needs to be resolved

Ooo this looks and sounds amazing! I love what the brand stands for, I think it’s so important that brands try to cater for every skin rather than just certain types! I do love a lil based cleanser so I’ll for sure be checking this out. It seems reasonably priced too! Thank you so much for sharing with us lovely Xo

I definitely recommend try the cleansing balm because it really does work and it isn’t expensive either! I’ve been using it almost daily for 2 months now & I still have about half of the container left.

The cleansing balm is effective and great! At first, it is more solid, but when you rub it on your fingers, it becomes oily so you can easily clean your face.
