Fall is now in full swing, and I am excited to share a guest post from Katie over at The Cozy Corner who is going to share her fall essentials!
Hello all! Fall is one of my favorite seasons. The leaves are changing, days are getting cooler, and I get to bring out all my fall/winter sweaters. Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite things for this season. They include foods, fashion, home decor, shows, and so much more. Let’s get started.
Apple Cider Donuts
Apple cider donuts are one of my favorite things about fall! They are so delicious and I 10/10 recommend you try them.
Chocolate Croissants
My grandma turned me onto these incredible chocolate croissants from Trader Joe’s that taste just like the ones I had in Paris a few years back. They were flakey, chocolatey, and delicious. You have to put them out the night before to let them rise, but it’s an easy step and they bake really fast in the morning.
Pumpkin Beer Can Glasses
I have seen these pumpkin glasses all over TikTok and I love them! They are perfect for iced coffee and always look so cute and aesthetic.
Oversized Flannels
I love flannels, but oversized ones are a whole new level of cozy. I thrifted most of my flannels, and if you check the men’s section you will find such good options! If not, I like the boyfriend-style flannels because they’re oversized and so soft. They’re easy to throw on with any outfit, and you can wear them as a shirt or wear them over a t-shirt or tank top.
Chunky Cardigans
I recently got this new cardigan from H&M and I love the look of it. It’s so soft and I don’t own any sweaters like it. Chunky cardigans are definitely a staple in my fall wardrobe and I cannot wait to expand my wardrobe even more.
Hunter Ankle Rain Boots
I got these black Hunter ankle rain boots last year for Christmas and I’m obsessed. They are so freaking cute and I got black so they can go with anything. Since fall is sometimes rainy, they are perfect for those days. I used to own tall Hunter boots but I have found that they’re heavier and often times bulky, so I prefer the short ones.
Only Murders in the Building
This is a show I HIGHLY recommend. I binge-watched it with my mom and we absolutely loved it. The 3 stars of the show are Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short. There are also a bunch of other awesome actors/actresses that make appearances.
Knit Blankets
I am a sucker for a good cozy blanket. I recently got a new one from Target that I’m in love with. It’s dark grey and is the perfect size. Adding blankets to beds, couches, or chairs really brings in this cozy vibe that I love.

Chocolate croissants are so yummy – when I’m at home, my mum and I always have one on a Saturday morning. Blankets are perfect for Autumn too 🙂
I agree chocolate croissants are delicious & cozy blankets are the best for the colder weather.
This is first time that I heard for pumpkin beer. Now I would like to try it.

I’m glad to hear that you’ve been enjoying the spring there! Fall is personally my favorite season because I love wearing sweaters, but I love spring too because it isn’t so cold compared to winter.
Hot chocolate and apple cider doughnuts are fall with a hint of winter for me, but I made the most delicious bundt cakes over the past couple weeks! One was apple cider and the other was pumpkin spice, and they have transformed fall for me into a whole new taste of moist goodness.
Love seeing chunky cardigans (I am wearing one right now!) and knit blankets on your list too; coziness is to fall what sunshine is to summer. 🙂

I do love a good cosy blanket, you can’t beat one for snuggling up with in the evenings. My other Autumn/Winter essential is a good pair of wellies that don’t leak, for all those bracing country walks!
Me too! I don’t have a pair of Hunter rain boots, but I have ones from Ilse Jacobsen (a Danish brand) & I love them!
Perfect ideas for fall, I’d also add a cozy pijama 😀

I’ve never heard of apple cider doughnuts, where makes them and how do they taste? I do love a chocolate croissant, but I thing they’re mum a spring item for me
I’m not sure how the apple cider donuts would taste since Katie wrote this post, but I would image they would taste like apple donuts with spices. There are recipes on Google!
For me, chocolate croissants are a year round dessert haha
The Hunter rain boots are cute! I have the long wellies and really don’t use them as much as I should xx
I agree! When I got my new pair of rainboots, I went with the short ones as I didn’t really like the look of the long ones haha

I love all these things – Hunter boots are one of my favourites especially spring/fall when it’s muddy out. I am constantly wrapping myself up in blankets and drinking warm beverages – fall is one of my favourites! I just started Only Murders in the Building and loving it so far – glad to hear you’re also enjoying it.

For me, autumn is all about cosiness, I have so many blankets and cushions and cardigans and jumpers. I like to make a massive pot of tea and drink it all with a book, all wrapped up in my blankets.
