KVD Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Review

Before I received the Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Makeup Bag Set, I bought the KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Vegan Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lolita from the Sephora in Copenhagen, but the lipstick is also available at Ulta.

Lolita is a rose brown shade with a matte finish. This lipstick is the same type of liquid lipstick as XO from the Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Makeup Bag Set. I prefer the Lolita shade over XO because Lolita is a much darker shade. This lipstick has great pigment and it applies smoothly and evenly with the applicator. This lipstick is also not streaky and I only need to use 1 layer to get full coverage. The applicator for this lipstick has a good length (it is not too long where it goes past the lips nor is it too short which makes it difficult to apply). After applying, this lipstick dries within a few minutes to a complete matte finish.

I found the Lolita shade easier to touch up than XO because Lolita is not a bright shade like XO. Like with the XO shade, this lipstick is also long-lasting and lasts all day or night for 7+ hours. This lipstick is mostly transfer-proof because it does not fade when drinking, but it fades on the inner lips after eating. However, this lipstick is easy to reapply and it does not feel cakey once reapplied. Like with all liquid lipsticks, this lipstick is somewhat drying, but it is not as bad as most other liquid lipsticks.

In comparison, the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is more moisturizing, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick is more drying. I recommend using a lip scrub and lip balm before applying this lipstick to reduce the dryness. To remove this lipstick I have to use a makeup remover because it is difficult to remove with only water, which I found as a positive because it does not transfer when drinking.

I also love the packaging of this lipstick because it is pretty with the roses on the cap and the details on the side. I believe these lipsticks are at a good price because the quality is high enough to match the price. There are 30 shades available of this lipstick with a color range of nudes, pinks, reds, purples, and blues, and I would purchase more shades in the future.

Overall, the KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Vegan Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick is a good quality lipstick that is long-lasting, mostly transfer-proof, and only a little drying.
