To some, hygge can be a sense of coziness such as sitting in front of the fire and enjoying a cup of tea while the weather outside is frightful. Hygge can be used to describe a sense of joy such as when you are together with your friends and family and enjoying a lovely dinner. Hygge can also be used to describe a sense of well-being for instance when you practice self-care and slow down to appreciate the little things.
