The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

There is only couple of weeks left of fall, and before fall comes to an end, I wanted to do a fall-themed book tag. The Fall Bucket List Book Tag is a fun tag that highlights some of your favorite books, and Sibby from Siobhan’s Novelties tagged me! Thank you so much tagging me Sibby!

The Rules

  • Link back to the original creator in your post
  • Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
  • Tag 7 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them

Light a Scented Candle: A Book that is Lighthearted

Heart of Stone book coverHeart of Stone by Andrea CannonHeart of Stone is a novella that follows Pamela Vargas who is a divorce lawyer and spent years building up a wall to protect her heart. When Alex comes along, Pamela is suddenly questioning her independent nature. Alex does not give up easily, but did he underestimate Pamela’s stubbornness? Since this novella is only 69 pages long, it is a lighthearted read that has a sweet ending.

Dried Pumpkin Spiced Lattes: A Book that has a lot of Hype

The Girls by Emma Cline audiobook screenshotThe Girls by Emma Cline: I have seen tons of bloggers recommending The Girls. The Girls is based on the Manson Family and the murder of Sharon Tate. The book is mainly set in the 1960s and follows Evie Boyd when she joins a group of girls who live at a ranch and are devoted to a man named Russell. Even though The Girls had a lot of hype, it was one of the worst books I read this year because it was so boring and overly written.

Go Apple Picking: A Book that has Fun Friendships

Screenshot of A Map of Days audiobook on LibbyA Map of Days by Ransom Riggs: A Map of Days is the 4th book in the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series, and it follows Jacob as he helps his peculiar friends fit in the modern world while trying to find more about his grandfather. This book is all about the friendships between Jacob and the other peculiar children including Emma, Bronwyn, and Millard along with the new friends they meet along way in peculiar America.

Wear a Cozy Sweater: A Book that Warms Your Heart

What If It's Us audiobook screenshot on LibbyWhat If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera: What If It’s Us follows Arthur who is interning in New York and Ben who is recovering from a recent breakup. One day they meet at the post office, but then they are separated by a flash mob. Arthur and Ben have to figure out if the universe is pulling them a part or pushing them together. I am going to pretend the epilogue does not exist, but I LOVE this book. The build up of Arthur’s and Ben’s relationship really does warm my heart.

Bake Cinnamon Rolls: A Character Who's a Talented Chef

Screenshot of To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han AudiobookTo All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before follows Lara Jean who wrote 5 love letters to the boys she has loved and kept them for herself. However, one day the letters are mysteriously mailed and her crushes from her past confront her and cause her seemingly normal life to spiral out of control. I was trying to think of a book that had a talented chef, and the closet I could find is Lara Jean who bakes. Even though there is not a lot of cooking in this book, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!

Jump Into A Pile of Leaves: A Book That Made you Jump for Joy

Spark Joy by Marie Kondo ebookSpark Joy: An Illustrated Master Class on the Art of Organizing and Tidying Up by Marie Kondo: Spark Joy is an illustrated guide that takes you step-by-step through the KonMari Method, which focuses on keeping items that spark joy and discarding the rest. I actually completed my tidying campaign earlier this year, and it has helped bring joy to my home because I no longer feel overwhelmed by a bunch of stuff.

I am not going to nominate anyone, but feel free to do this tag before fall is over!
