It is the last day of March as well as the beginning of daylights savings time, and today I wanted to share my favorites from this past month.
The Haunting of Hill House: After I read the book, which I will review later this week, I decided to watch the series on Netflix with my boyfriend. The series is very different from the book, but I still enjoyed it! The series is about a fractured family who confronts the haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it. My boyfriend did not really care for The Haunting of Hill House since it would switch between the past and present and it is slow building, but I loved it and there were definitely some creepy scenes. If you like horror and drama genres, I recommend watching The Haunting of Hill House!
Queer Eye: The third season of Queer Eye was released this month on Netflix, and this time it was set in Kansas City, Missouri. Like with the first two seasons, each member of the Fab 5 has their own speciality: Tan (fashion), Jonathan (grooming), Antoni (food and wine), Bobby (design), and Karamo (culture), and together they transform the lives of people both on the inside and out. It is always great seeing the transformations, and this season included more women, which was also nice to see. I would recommend watching Queer Eye if you like reality shows that promote great messages.
Cough Syrup by Kristian Kjærlund: Kristian is a contestant on X Factor Danmark, and I absolutely love his voice! It is so unique, and I hope he wins! He is currently in the top 4!
Pixi Rose Tonic: I have been using this toner for over a month now in the morning and evening after I wash my face, and it is great! The toner has a nice scent, and it reduces redness, and softens and hydrates my skin. The toner is suitable for all skin types included those with sensitive skin, and Pixi does not test on animals! I recommend this toner if you are looking for a new toner that has great results!

Rate: 9/10Benefit The Porefessional Pearl Primer: I do not buy products from Benefit because they are not cruelty-free, but this primer was gifted to me, so I decided to try it out. The primer is like the original Porefessional Primer, but the Pearl version has a soft pearly pink shade that helps brighten the skin. The primer makes my face feel soft, and my makeup applies easily. The primer also helps make my makeup last longer during the day. Overall, this is a good primer to use before applying the rest of your makeup.

This month I have not been up to that much. On the 3rd was Fastelavn, which is a holiday similar to Halloween where kids dress up. The kids will then hit barrels filled with candy and fruit, eat buns, and sing the Fastelavn song. My daughter had fun celebrating Fastelavn at her kindergarten and her grandma’s garden home. Besides that, I have been working hard on my Children’s Rights course. There was so much to do from readings to assignments that I ended up getting behind, but last weekend I took the day to catch up, and it was successful! This week I have been working on the final assignment for the course, which I turned in yesterday! Tomorrow my thesis course starts, and I am looking forward to getting started on it!
