How is it already December?! November has just flown by, and like always, I want to share my favorites for the past month. I also want to do something a little different and share a roundup of what I have been up to this past month and the posts I published. Now for my favorites!
Entertainment
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018): I watched this movie with my boyfriend last month, and I enjoyed it, but my boyfriend not so much. The movie picks up where the first one ended, and in the movie Albus Dumbledore requests the help of Newt Scamander to stop Grindelwald’s plan of wizards ruling over non-magical beings. Unlike the first movie that took place in America, this movie takes place in Europe including at Hogwarts. There are some old creatures like the Niffler and some new creatures as well, which was fun to see. The acting was amazing, but the plot can be overwhelming. The reason why my boyfriend did not like the movie was because he got lost in the plot since there were so many side stories and a lot of background, but I still liked the movie. If you have watched the first Fantastic Beasts movie, I would recommend watching this one.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: I watched this Netflix series with my boyfriend, and I loved it! I grew up watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch and it was fun watching a new version of that show. In The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Sabrina, who is a half-witch half-mortal, is torn between the two worlds. While she decides if she wants to be part of the Church of Night or remain in the mortal world, she has to fight evil forces including demons and other witches. I enjoyed the satanic twist of this version of Sabrina, and I like that Salem the cat was present, but I wish he could talk. The plot was entertaining and I liked the references to Riverdale (Sabrina lives in Greendale which is also mentioned in Riverdale). If you want to watch a different take on Sabrina the Teenage Witch or you enjoy shows like Riverdale I would definitely recommend watching this series.

What is Love? Album by Clean Bandit:This album was released on November 30th, and I love it! The album has the popular singles like Symphony, Rockabye, and Solo along with other great songs like Mama with Ellie Goulding. All the songs are about the different kinds and stages of love from family to romantic love, and I recommend giving a listen to this album.

Beauty
Uoga Uoga Natural Lip and Cheek Color in Tender: I received this lip and cheek color in my September 2018 GoodieBox Crush, and I love the rose shade. The lip color has good pigment, and it is buildable, but I do find it a bit difficult to use on mu cheeks since I have to use my fingers to apply it. However, I love the color for my lips. The color is not drying, and it has good staying power as well. You can also check out the makeup look I shared on Twitter where I used the color on both my cheeks and lips here. I recommend this color if you want a good quality and gorgeous lip and cheek color.

Rate: 9/10Matas Micellar Water: This is my go-to makeup remover since it is affordable, effective, and easily available in Denmark. Like all other micellar waters I tried, this one removes my eye and face makeup with ease. If you do not already, I definitely recommend trying a micellar water (not necessarily this one unless you live in Denmark) to remove your makeup because it is so effective!

Roundup
As far as what I have been up to last month, the first weekend of November I went pottery painting with my daughter! I did not paint anything this time, but my daughter painted a cup for herself and an ornament for my parents. I also saw Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grendelwald (I have not seen a movie in theaters since pretty much last year), and I went to the forest in Roskilde for the first time since I have been here! It was cold, but I enjoyed having lunch out in nature. I shared a picture of the view from the forest on Twitter here. Like I mentioned in my Too Cool For School Pumpkin Mask Review, I went Black Friday shopping with my daughter and my boyfriend’s mom (Thanksgiving is not celebrated in Denmark), and I also went to a Christmas market and a 50th birthday party for my boyfriend’s uncle. As far as my master’s program goes, I have finished my third course this past Friday and I started my last course for the semester yesterday. I have been rather busy with my master’s program, so I have not had much time to blog, but I want to share the posts I published in November.

I watched the second film of Fantastic Beasts as well and I also felt like the plot was a bit overwhelming and too extensive but it was still pretty good though! π

Yes the plot is overwhelming & a lot of reviews said that the movie was only made to set up the next movies, but I disagree & I think it’s still a good movie π

Oh I totally forgot Sabrina is a part of the Archie comic world! The new version looks great. Love that actress.

Then you should hopefully love the series! Also since they’re part of the same world, the same creator made both series π

I loved The Crimes of Grindlewald too. It has a lot of plot alright though and it’s a bonus to have seen/read Harry Potter beforehand. Sabrina is an excellent show!
