Halloween has come and gone and November has begun which means it is time to share my favorites from October!
Entertainment
Wonder (2017): Wonder is about August Pullman who is a boy with a facial deformity. After being homeschooled his whole life, he decides to start 5th grade at the public elementary school. The movie was touching and funny at times, and all the actors were amazing. I would highly recommend this movie if you like sweet movies or comedy-dramas.

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli: The Upside of Unrequited is the second novel set in the universe of Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, but it is not the sequel (Leah on the Offbeat is). The book follows Molly who is the cousin of Abby from Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. Molly has had 26 crushes, but she has not done anything about them until she meets a hipster mutual friend named Will and her nerdy coworker named Reid. Molly is a likable and relatable character, and the story was sweet including the ending. I would recommend this book if you like sweet stories or you have read Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda. I will also do a more in-depth review of this book soon.

Shotgun by George Ezra: I love this song! The song is upbeat, and George Ezra has an amazing voice. If you have not already, I would recommend giving it a listen to.

Beauty
Urtekram Purple Lavender Hand Cream: I received this hand cream in my September 2018 GoodieBox. I have been using this cream lately since the colder weather has been making my hands dry. The cream has a nice lavender scent, and it absorbs quickly and leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturized without being greasy. The hand cream is also natural, vegan, and cruelty-free which is a big plus. I would recommend this hand cream if you like lavender scents and need extra moisture for your hands.

Rate: 9/10Lipstick Queen Hello Sailor Lipstick: When I reviewed the Lipstick Queen Duo, I gave the Hello Sailor Lipstick a lower rating. However, now that the weather is colder I have been wearing the plum shade more often. The lipstick is easy to apply and it is also moisturizing, which is great for when my lips get dry. The lipstick is not long-lasting, but I do not really mind since it is easy to reapply. I would recommend this lipstick if you want a unique color changing lipstick.

Wonder is AMAZING! The books (there is the main one and a follow up) are just as good. But this was one time when I liked the movie just as much if not more than the book. That never happens to me!

I knew there was a book, but I didn’t know there was a follow up! I want to read them, but I want to wait some time so I’m not as influenced by the movie.
It’s also good to know the movie is as good as the book π
