I have seen Book Depository recommend before because they have a huge selection of books and they ship to pretty much everywhere in the world for free. I decided to buy several books the other week.
I placed my order on September 15th and received all 3 books on the 26th. Shipping to Europe takes 4-8 working days, so I was pleased that the books arrived in a timely matter. Also, the books were shipped separately since Book Depository receives the books from different suppliers. 2 of the books were shipped on the 18th and the other on the 19th, but the books all arrived on the same day. Now for the books I bought!
Happy by Fearne Cotton: This book was recommended by a blogger, but I am sorry I do not remember who. The book looked interesting since it is like a workbook about happiness. In Happy you will discover ways of finding joy every day. The book also helps you take little steps with practical ideas and writing exercises to help you find happiness. Fearne Cotton herself has battled with depression, and she uses her experience in the book.

Hokkaido Highway Blues by Will Ferguson: I actually discovered this book in a Reddit post. I love everything Japan, and I decided to buy this book. Hokkaido Highway Blues is about Will Ferguson’s experience hitchhiking the length of Japan to follow the cherry blossom’s progress. His experience is both funny and illuminating about Japan.

The Little Book of Lykke by Meik Wiking: This last book was more of an impulse buy. Everyone has probably heard of The Little Book of Hygge, which is all about the Danish concept of coziness, and in Wiking’s latest book it is all about lykke or happiness. The Little Book of Lykee is a guide to finding more happiness in our lives from how we spend our time to how we relate to our neighbors. Wiking also uses examples from Denmark as well as around the world for finding happiness. Meik Wiking is the CEO of The Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, and he is one of the world’s leading experts in happiness.
