These past couple of weeks I have been working on my final project for my Front-End Web Development course, so my blog has been on the back burner.
I have wanted to take the time to write a few posts I have planned and also read other blogger’s posts, but after staring at my laptop all day trying to debug my code, looking at my laptop again in the evening was the last thing I wanted to do. With that being said I finished my project today and graduated from my Front-End Web Development course! If you would like to check out my final project, the GitHub repository is here. The course was definitely challenging and starting with no knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I learned A LOT in the past 6 months!Β
I am also looking forward to Monday because my Child Studies master’s program is starting! I am so excited, but I know it will be an adjustment. Luckily I have had the web dev course to prepare me a bit on how to balance lessons and projects with life. Also on the 27th – 31st I will be in Sweden to meet everyone in my program and attend some lectures. After that my 25th birthday is on September 4th!
Before I started the last part of my course I went on vacation for 2 weeks. It was nice taking a break from my course, and I did a lot of fun things! I went to the beach for the 2nd time ever (seriously). Then I went to Knuthenborg (a safari park) and it was so much fun driving around and seeing all the animals. My daughter loved the ponies and dinosaurs. I also went to BonBon-Land (a theme park) and it was fun too. After that I spent time in my city and went to the harbor and downtown and I also finally visited Ragnarock (the rock museum I can see from my apartment)! Last weekend was also the bi-yearly market and I got a new frying pan! We also saw Peppa Pig (Gurli Gris in Danish) and my daughter had fun seeing her.
It has been a busy, fun, and challenging past month, and I am excited for the coming weeks.
What have you been up to?
Tillykke, for all the great news, wish you best of luck with the master π

Congrats on passing your course! I took a course on computer programming when I was in college, but it was too much for me to keep up with on top of the full course load I was taking, so I ended up dropping the course early on. I would love to learn more html, css and javascript. Hope you enjoy your trip! xxx

Thank you! I know several people who majored in computer science & it seemed insane the projects they had to do! I liked the Udacity course though b/c I could could go at my own pace. I know freeCodeCamp is a great resource to learn how to code & it’s completely free!

That sounds amazing! The heat is the worst & it’s been so hot here but luckily it rained pretty much all this week so it has cooled down a lot
