Compared to January, February seemed to fly by, and like always I want to share my favorites from the past month!
Once Upon a Time: I started watching this series with my boyfriend, and we are on season 2 now. Once Upon a Time follows various fairy tale characters who are trapped in the real world and lost their memories due to a powerful curse. The series has a lot of great actors, and I love all the different fairy tale characters from Snow White and Prince Charming to Captain Hook. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen next. I would definitely recommend watching Once Upon a Time if you like fantasies and dramas.
The Ritual (2017): I had low expectations going into this movie because I really did not know what it was about when my boyfriend started playing it on Netflix. The movie follows 4 friends who go hiking through Sweden after the tragic death of their friend. While hiking 1 of the friends becomes injured and they decide to take a shortcut through the forest. However, a menacing presence starts stalking them. The acting was great, and the movie was definitely creepy. The only thing I did not like was that the ending was abrupt, but the rest of movie was good. If you want to watch a good scary movie, then I would recommend The Ritual.
Higher Ground by Rasmussen: Rasmussen won the Danish Melodi Grand Prix, and he will go on to Eurovision. Rasmussen has a nice voice, and the song reminds of the vikings. It will be interesting to see how far he gets in Eurovision.
Carmex Original Lip Balm: I received this lip balm in my January 2018 GoodieBox, and I have been using it since. The lip balm is easy to apply, and it gives my lips a tingling sensation. The balm also helps keep my lips moisturized, and it is definitely affordable. I would recommend this lip balm if you are looking for a good balm to use in the cold weather.
Rate: 10/10NYX Intense Butter Gloss in Toasted Marshmallow: I bought this gloss as part of my Unexpected Matas Haul. Toasted Marshmallow is a mauve shade with great pigment. The gloss is not sticky on the lips, and it seems to last longer than the NYX Butter Gloss, but it is not transfer-proof. The gloss is affordable, and I would recommend it if you want a lip gloss with amazing pigment.
