Happy Sunday! I received the Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Copper Peach in my June 2016 Birchbox, but I have not used it until more recently because the shades did not seem that exciting. However, I do think that the 6 shades are great to use during the Fall.
The shades do not have any names, but they include:
- Shade 1: champagne with a mostly matte and slight shimmer finish
- Shade 2: peach with a shimmer finish
- Shade 3: light brown with a matte finish
- Shade 4: light peach with a shimmer finish
- Shade 5: copper with a shimmer finish
- Shade 6: dark bronze with a shimmer finish
The shimmer shades have good pigment, but Shade 1 and Shade 3 (the matte shades) need multiple layers to have decent pigment. All of the shades apply smoothly with practically no fallout. The shades also blend easily without looking muddy. Even though there are 6 shades in this palette, the shades can be used to create a complete look. With an eyeshadow primer, the shades last all day without fading, creasing, or smudging.
Even though the shades apply and blend well, I do have problems with this palette. Some of the shades do not look like they do in the pan especially Shade 3, which is a much lighter brown when swatched and applied on the eyelid. Also, Shade 6 is the darkest shade in this palette. Another problem I have is that Shade 2 and Shade 4 are very similar peach shades, but Shade 2 is slightly darker.
Despite the problems with this palette, $12 is affordable and I recommend this palette if you like the shimmer shades that are included. The palette does include a dual-ended sponge brush, which is better quality than most included with an eyeshadow palette, but I would still recommend using an eyeshadow brush instead (especially for blending). The palette also has a small size that makes it easy to travel with, but there is no mirror included. There are 8 Mesmerizing Mineral Palettes available with a range of pink, purple, blue, and natural shades. Even though I want to try the Aquamarine Dream Palette, I most likely will not purchase another palette because of the problems I had with the matte shades.

Overall, the Pixi Mesmerizing Mineral Palette in Copper Peach is an affordable palette that includes shades that apply and blend well, but the matte shades lack pigment and several of the shades look different than in the pan.
