Pixi MultiBalm Review

I hope everyone is having a good week so far! For my next post, I want to review the Pixi MultiBalm in the shade Baby Petal that I received in my August 2017 GoodieBox.

Baby Petal is a light peach shade with a cream finish, and the balm can be used on both the lips and cheeks. The peach shade is perfect for the Fall, and the balm can also be twisted up to reveal more product, which I find convenient. On the lips, the balm applies easily, but it does not apply evenly because it looks a bit streaky. However, due to the cream finish, the balm is not drying on the lips, but it only lasts around 3-4 hours before fading away. The balm is also not transfer-proof, and it fades when eating or drinking. However, the balm can easily be reapplied.

On the cheeks, the balm also applies easily. It is recommend to use your fingers to blend the balm on the cheeks, but I used a beautyblender instead because I do not like using my hands to apply makeup. With a beautyblender, the balm blends easily, and the peach shade looks natural on my cheeks. The balm is long-lasting and lasts most of day for 6-7 hours before fading.

There are only 5 shades available of the multibalm including a pink, purple, peach, red, and brown shade. I do not think I will purchase another shade because of the problems I had when using it as a lip balm.Overall, the Pixi MultiBalm in Baby Petal is easy to use to add a natural color to the cheeks, but on the lips it is streaky and fades rather quickly.
