Another month has come and gone, but I enjoyed my vacation last week and I am looking forward to my birthday next week! Since today is the last day of August, I wanted to share my favorites for this past month.
Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments: I have finished watching the first season of Shadowhunters on Netflix, and I found the series interesting. The acting is good and I like the angels vs demons element. I have not read any of the books, but the tv series is supposed to be an adaptation of them. If you have read the books and seen the tv series, what do you think of it? Now I am looking forward to starting the next season!
Sublime Karma by Peyton Garver: The author kindly sent me an e-book of Sublime Karma, and I finished reading it earlier this week. The book is told from the perspective of Jake, the popular football player and a band member of Sublime Karma, and Brie, the new girl. Brie attracts the unwanted attention of the popular girls and is bullied by them, but Jake starts to take an interest in Brie. However, both Jake and Brie have their own secrets that they have to overcome. The story is interesting and brought me back to high school with all the drama, and the characters were also relatable. However, I thought the ending was sweet, but it did not wrap everything up. I am going to post a more in-depth review of Sublime Karma next week!
Nights With You by MØ: This song was released a few months ago by the Danish singer MØ. This song like all of MØ’s music is in English, and it is also catchy and upbeat.
Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser: This cleanser was 1 of the 4 products in the Formula 10.0.6 Clean Getaway Travel Kit that I bought as part of my Ulta Haul. I ran out of the First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser that I use in the evening, so I started using the Formula 10.0.6 one. I use this cleanser after removing my makeup, and it helps clean my face and reduce excess oil. This cleanser also has a nice scent and it is affordable. The only complaint I have is that this cleanser does not really foam up like I would expect, but it is still a good cleanser.

Rate: 9/10Ilse Jacobsen Sun Seaweed Face Cream SPF 15: I received this face cream in my July 2017 GoodieBox. This face cream has a nice scent, and it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy on my skin. This face cream is also waterproof, which was great for when I went to Lalandia and Legoland last week. I have not been using this cream every day, but I have used it more often than I normally would use sunscreen. The price for this cream is expensive though considering the size, and I will most likely not repurchase it. On their website, this cream is only available in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
