I wanted to try out some blue eye shadow, and at Normal I bought the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Shadow Palette in I’m His Breezy.
The palette includes these 5 shades:
- Browbone: gray with a frost finish
- Base: pale gray with a matte finish
- Definer: dark purple-blue with a matte finish
- Eyelid: sky blue with a pearl finish
- Crease: dark blue with a matte finish and silver sparkle
The 5 shades have good pigment when swatched, but when applied to the eyelid it is a completely different story. The shades only have a little fallout, but they are very sheer when applied on the eyelid, and they become even more sheer when blended. Also the shimmer and sparkle from the Browbone, Eyelid, and Crease shades becomes muted and the eye shadow looks matte. Using an eyeshadow primer does not help with the pigment, and the shades also only last 3-4 hours before they start to fade and crease. This palette does not include a mirror, but it does includes 2 cheap brushes which I would not recommend using to apply any eye shadow. Also the name “I’m His Breezy” is downgrading to women because it refers to being his easy broad. I have no idea what Wet n Wild was thinking when they came up with this name, and I do not know why they have not changed it since the original release of the palette back in 2014. The only good thing about this palette is that it is really cheap, so I did not lose much by purchasing it. I also like that each shade is labeled with the corresponding eye area so this palette would be easy to use for beginners, but sadly this palette is not even worth the $3.99. Wet n Wild does have 4 other Color Icon Eye Shadow Palettes available, but I doubt that those palette have better pigment.

I also decided to include this makeup look using all 5 shades from the palette. As you tell the shades are not as pigmented as the swatches and also the eye shadow looks matte.
Overall, the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Shadow Palette in I’m His Breezy has a terrible name, poor pigment, and is not worth the money.

The others are just as bad, honestly 😦

Well it’s good to know that they’re all bad. Have you tried the other palettes with the 8 shades? I know the Comfort Zone palette is popular but there’s 2 other palettes w/ pretty shades

Comfort zone was okay but i havent had much luck with any eye shadow from wet n wild. Ive tried the palettes and mono shades and im not impressed with anything that wasnt a nude-y brown.

I actually think that shade really suits you, it’s just such a shame about the product. I’m not so hot on the name ““I’m His Breezy” either. How disappointing overall from this brand! x
