The Lush Mask of Magnaminty was one of my December 2016 Favorites, and now I wanted to do a more in-depth review of this mask.
The Mask of Magnaminty is not one of Lush’s fresh face masks, so it has a shelf life of 3-4 months and it does not need to be refrigerated. This mask can be used on both the face and body, but I only use it once a week on my face. This mask has a strong peppermint scent, but I do not find it overwhelming. This mask is also clay based, so it is rather thick and not that messy to apply. A great thing about this mask is that I only need to wear it for 5-10 minutes before it completely dries. During this time, my face feels tingly from the peppermint oil, but it is not painful. The mask washes off easily and the added aduki beans help exfoliate my skin. The immediate results from using this mask are my face looks clean, feels smooth and moisturized (due to the added honey), and the redness I had is reduced (due to the vanilla absolute). During the next few days after using this mask, my skin will be clearer and my face will also be less oily. I would highly recommend this mask if you have oily or combination oily skin.
Overall, the Lush Mask of Magnaminity is a wonderful mask that helps exfoliate, moisturize, reduce the redness, and control the oiliness of my face.
