It has been awhile since my first Empties post, and since then I have finished using more products. Like my first post, at the end of each review, I will decide whether I would purchase/repurchase the product or not.
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream with SPF 50+: I received several of these sample CC creams from Ulta, but the medium shade was too dark for me. However, the CC cream did even out my skin tone, and I like that it contained SPF. The CC cream can be used instead of foundation, primer, moisturizer, and corrector, but the cream made my face feel really oily and I needed to use a powder foundation with it. I also think the price is expensive, so I would not purchase this cream.
$38 at Ulta
Honest Beauty Everything Primer: I also received a couple of these primer samples from Ulta. The primer dried quickly, but it did not change the appearance of my pores. The primer can be worn by itself, but it made my face look dewy so I had to use foundation too. My makeup did last all day with this primer, but the price is too expensive for a primer that only makes my makeup last longer. I would definitely not purchase this primer.
$27 at Ulta
Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer: I received this primer in my July 2016 Play! By Sephora. The primer dries quickly and gives my face a smooth texture. My makeup does last all day with this primer, but it expensive especially since the NYX Studio Perfect Primer is a much cheaper dupe. I would not purchase this primer because there are cheaper alternatives for the same result.
$36 for 30 ml at Sephora
NEST Citrine Eau de Parfum Spray: I also received this perfume in my July 2016 Play! By Sephora. The perfume has a floral scent that is a mix of lotus flower and freesia with citrus and precious woods. I did not care much for the scent, but the scent lasted all day, and I liked that the sample size came in a spray bottle. I would not purchase this perfume because it is too expensive for a scent I do not like.
$68 for 50 ml at Sephora
Ulta Fig & Honey Moisturizing Body Lotion: I received this sample of lotion from Ulta. The lotion has a nice fig scent, which lasted all day. I used the lotion on my arms and legs after showering, and my skin felt soft and moisturized. The lotion also dried quickly, and it did not make my skin feel greasy. I would purchase this lotion because it is great.
$2 for 59 ml at Ulta
Sephora Green Tea Face Mask: This is the first Sephora mask I have bought and tried. The mask has a nice scent, and I wore it for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes, my face felt soft and clean. I would repurchase this mask again, but I would like to try the other masks available.
$6 at Sephora
Tony Moly Goat Milk Moisture Mask Sheet: I received this mask as a free gift when I bought several other Tony Moly masks from Ulta. The mask has a nice light milk scent, and I wore it for 20 minutes. After I removed the mask, my face felt soft and moisturized. I would purchase this mask, but I do not know where to buy it from.
Batiste Travel Size Dry Shampoo: This dry shampoo has a nice cherry scent, and it is very easy to use. The dry shampoo works well when I have not washed my hair for 2-3 days as it makes my hair look fresher and less oily during the day. The travel size did not last that long, but I have since repurchased the full-sized dry shampoo, which I have mentioned in my October 2016 Favorites.
$3.99 for 50 ml at Ulta
Matas Alt-i-en Ansigtsrens: I received this sample of cleanser as a gift. This is an all-in-one facial cleanser that removes eye and face makeup, moisturizes the skin, and stimulates the skins ability to regenerate. I used this instead of micellar water to remove my makeup, and it does a great job of removing all of my makeup. My face also felt moisturized after using this cleanser. This cleanser is at a good price, and I would purchase it when I run out of micellar water.
80 kr / $12 for 500 ml at Matas
Symphony Beauty Makeup Cleansing Wipes: I received these wipes in my August 2016 Ipsy Bag. The resealable package contained 10 cucumber scented wipes. I only needed to use 1 wipe to remove all of my makeup including my eyeshadow, mascara, and foundation. The wipes are great to use after coming back from a late night out and I do not want to spend a lot of time removing my makeup. I would purchase these wipes because they are also at a good price.
