Happy Halloween! It is crazy that it is already the last day of October, but that means it is time to share my favorites for this past month!
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children: I have read both Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City, so I have been looking forward to seeing the movie. I watched this move earlier this month, and I enjoyed it. However, I was bothered that most of the children were different ages, and Olive and Emma had switched peculiarities. Despite that, I thought it was a nice addition to include the twins because there was no information about them in the books. The movie mostly followed the first book until about 2/3 of the way through, but it was nice to see a different ending.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: I have been playing this game a lot on the Wii U. The quests are fun, the characters are cute, and I love the art style. I liked traveling on the boat to all the different islands, but the dungeons did feel a bit repetitive even though they included different enemies and puzzles. However, the game is very enjoyable.
Love You Better by Oh Land: Oh Land is a judge on Denmark’s Voice Junior, and she sang this song with the most recent winner. Love You Better is a beautiful song, and Oh Land has a beautiful voice too.
Batiste Dry Shampoo: Not too long ago I purchased this full-sized dry shampoo after finishing a travel sized one. This is the best dry shampoo I have tried because it easy to use, has a nice scent, and it makes my hair look less oily on days that I do not wash it. The dry shampoo also does not leave any residue nor make my hair look white. The only downside though is that it contains a lot of chemicals unlike the Lush No Drought dry shampoo.
