My Journey as a Blogger
Briefly, I started my blog on tumblr, but I decided to move my blog to WordPress because I was not enjoying blogging anymore due to the lack of community there. Since my last post, I still love blogging and the sense of community here. I have over 300 followers now, and I can not thank everyone enough for following me and supporting my blog. Thank you everyone who likes and comments on my posts or just visits my blog. I appreciate all the support I have received after moving from Tumblr.
Advice to Bloggers
Instead of repeating the same advice, I am going to give some new advice too. In my first post, the main advice I gave was blog about what you love and be active in the community. My new advice is be consistent in posting. It is not necessary to blog everyday especially if you have a busy life with school, work, family, friends, etc., but it is good to try and stick to schedule of posting depending on what you find manageable whether it is once, twice, or more a week. Another piece of advice I can give is about finding ideas of what to post about. It can be challenging coming up with ideas for posts, but look at what other bloggers are posting, visit social media websites like Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook, and write down any ideas that come to you in a notebook/journal, on your phone, or on your computer. You can then take your ideas and use them to start writing your posts. The last and most important advice I can give is stay true to yourself. This goes back to blogging about what you love whether it is reviews, photos, or stories. I hope my advice was helpful!
